Chapter 96: Chapter 96
To quicken the process of feeding the Four Crowned Elemental Treehopper, Maeyd actually took out Attribute Mana Crystals, hundred for each element and the Treehopper had affinities for Fire, Water, Earth and Wood.
"Goblins are spawn of the Chaos Domain so they don’t have Elemental Affinity but when they do awaken it by chance, it’s always the Dark Element. My Soul is of the Wood Element and the goblin awakened the Dark Element, these two elements fused after I possessed the goblin, gaining a Rare Dark Wood Element. Honestly, this type of thing can only occur when goblins are involved." said Maeyd with admiration.
As the Treehopper ate, Maeyd started to become nervous and start doubting his element.
"Dark Wood is still wood right? What if it doesn’t work though, what will happened to me?" he mused. And a few hours later, the Treehopper was full, its hairy fruit-like balls now glowing resplendently in different colours. Maeyd grabbed the bug and it didn’t resist and broke off its crown. The bug instantly died, its body shrivelled up before turning to dust.
Maeyd then took out a small dagger and cut open his chest, his beating heart visible from the wound and inserted the crown close to his heart. The crown turned into colourful sand that the heart absorbed in a beat. Maeyd felt a tremor run through his body and lost consciousness.
When he woke up, another day had passed. His eyes were heavy but he forced himself to stay awake and began to thoroughly inspect himself and immediately noticed something different with himself. His heart now a four coloured ring with dark green, orange, brown and blue.
"Hahaha, it worked! It worked! I’m now a Quadri-Elementalist, all I need to do now is raise my strength to the Sixth Star level while buying Mr Bug’s products. After I reach the Sixth Star Mage level, I’m leaving this shithole but first, let me leave a review for Mr Bug...no, that’s a bad idea. I think only two people know about Mr Bug, me and that broke person. Better keep it this way otherwise I might end up shooting myself in the foot."
"What happened?!" asked Daniel and Evan clenched his teeth in anger and shame.
"There was something I wanted to buy at the GPM but because I have insufficient GP, someone beat me to it." answered Evan.
"I see. It seems whatever you wanted to buy is really precious to you. Let’s do it this way, here’s my guild card, use it so that next time, you can buy whatever you want without worrying about money." said Daniel and gave Evan a card similar to that of Maeyd’s.
"Thank you, father!" Evan’s eyes were beaming.
"Father, one more thing. Do you have Attribute Mana Crystals of the Wind, Water, Fire and Earth Elements? And also Tier 1 Spells of these Elements?"
"Sure, how many do you want? But what are you gonna with other Spells?" asked Daniel.
"I want to cross reference some of the Spells I’m using and I need a hundred crystals for each element." answered Evan without giving Daniel any doubts.
"I see. Here are the crystals and if you need more, just come to me and I’ll give you more." said Daniel before leaving.
"Jersse, let’s go!" said Evan with a beaming face, he was clearly in a good mood. The two of them then left the garden and Daniel reappeared in the garden.
’Forget it, who doesn’t have secrets. As long as it helps improve his strength.’ said Daniel as he gazed at the direction of the Royal Academy.
’Evan, you must quickly grow stronger and take the family to greater heights!’
Once in his room, Jersse cast a sound barrier again and then took out the Treehopper and gave it to Evan. Evan then fed the bug the crystals and it immediately started eating with glee. After it finished eating, Evan gently broke its crown and the bug instantly died. Fınd the newest release on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵•𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮•𝓷𝓮𝓽
Jersse then gave Evan the knife and Evan ruthlessly cut open his chest, revealing his beating heart and placed the crown close to it. Like what had happened with Maeyd, the crown turned into colourful sand that the heart absorbed in a beat and a tremor ran through Evan’s body and he lost consciousness.
By the time he woke up, it was in the middle of the night and he felt great. As he was already a One Star Mage, he could tell at a glance that the operation was a success, he was now a Penta-Elemental Mage.
"Hahaha, Mr Bug is truly my lucky star. Who would have thought that I Evan, would go from a Twin Elementalist to a Penta-Elementalist. This truly feels great! I’m also at the High level of the One Star stage, soon, I’ll advance to the Two Star stage and become even stronger. Mr Bug, I’m looking forward to your next sale and this time, I’ll be ready!"
"Congratulations Young Master on becoming a Penta-Elemental Mage. Your future shines the brightest!"
"Hahaha, it really does shine bright. Take out the worms, it’s time for some pain. My body was starting to forget the torturous days I’ve endured to reach this point." Evan hadn’t realised it yet but Jersse had. Evan was transforming from a lazy and arrogant young master to a man who wasn’t afraid of pain and challenges but he didn’t say anything.
Evan took out the Spells and it was only eight of them, Fire Breath, Fireball, Fire Whip, Water Bubble, Water Gun, Earth Spikes, Earth Wall and Below Zero Spells. They weren’t a lot but they were enough for him as he wanted to save some worms for when he was at the academy. Who knew when Mr Bug would stop selling these precious worms, so he had to be prepared for such situations.
By the time Evan finished assimilating the worms, he’d actually grown slightly taller and it wasn’t a side effect of the bugs, just that when he endured pain, all his bones stretched to their limit. He was also more confident in himself and less irrational and immature.
"Young Master, Lady Rosaria is here to visit you."
