Chapter 81: Chapter 81

Baby Poldi returned to Zixin a day later. A tunnel opened up from the ceiling and Baby Poldi arrived, then, multiple corpses fell on the web net but Zixin couldn’t see them because they were behind him and he couldn’t turn his head to look behind him.

"Where have you been?" he asked then Baby Poldi raised her legs like she was dancing.

"Hunting? And you brought back lots of food? Then feed me." said Zixin with happiness. He was extremely hungry and the thought of eating made him happy. Baby Poldi then ripped the deer apart into chunks and fed them to Zixin. Zixin’s teeth were so strong that they could break and grind bones to swallowable chunks. He just opened his mouth, chewed and swallowed, he didn’t care what he was eating, as long as it was food.

The deer meat was so juicy and delicious that Zixin couldn’t get enough of it. As he was eating, the food turned into energy that began healing him. The rats birds he’d been eating had only been able to make an outline of his internal organs. Now though, his internal organs were growing again and at a rapid speed.

After eating the seventh goblin corpse, his internal organs had completely regrown and he was now regrowing new bones. The process was painless to Zixin and by the time he’d devoured all the goblins, his bones had completely regrown. His six arms were still missing some flesh and blood but that would require more food. Fortunately, he could now stand up and move about.

"Baby Poldi, well done! You did a great job, hahaha!" praised Zixin and Baby Poldi was happy. Zixin began to check himself out and was surprised by his skin colour, it wasn’t ink black anymore but a rosy red from when he was still human. His strength was below average and his Innate Abilities were still being suppressed by the red energy but Zixin was happy.

"Baby Poldi, just where did you get so much meat?" he asked and Baby Poldi explained everything through their connection.

"I see. So it was two legged hunters who were chasing after four legged food..." Zixin then became silent for a long time before opening his mouth to speak.

"Baby Poldi, I need more of those two legged hunters. Hunt them down and bring them back to me, I would’ve gone with you to hunt but I’m too weak, hunting and protecting me at the same time might cause you problems so you must go alone. Also, your battle style is not efficient enough. You’re no longer your old self, you’re now a completely new species of spider, the Herculean Sealed Spider. Your greatest advantage is your immense strength, use that to your advantage.

For example, your silk is completely made up of gold. If you can create a silk thread to strangle your opponents with it or a thick rope and use it as a whip. You can also throw boulders at your opponents or overwhelm them with your immense strength. What I’m trying to say is don’t limit yourself to your previous capabilities. Experiment and bring out more of your power. Now go." said Zixin. Baby Poldi raised her legs before leaving the cavern. After Baby Poldi left, Zixin sighed.

"How the mighty have fallen. To think there’d come a day where I would rely on others just to fill my stomach. Zbethr, I won’t forgive you for this!"

Far away from Zixin, there was a place with wooden spiked walls around it. On the other side of the wooden was a large community of goblins. There were hundreds of thousands of goblins living here. Wooden houses with grass roofings were numerous in this place.

To locate this place, Baby Poldi had travelled for three days. Using her senses, she could see more of the goblin community. As it was noon, there was only female and baby goblins in the village. The male goblin had probably gone out to hunt. As she continued to scan the place with her Blood Sense, Baby Poldi discovered something.

In this village, there were three beings that she considered a great to her. One was a goblin wearing skulls and bones as jewellery, the other was a two meters humanoid monster with protruding tusks, green muscular body with red tattoo patterns on its body and the last one was a human, an old man wearing a cloak.

As she continued to investigate, Baby Poldi discovered a shocking secret and a huge opportunity for Zixin. In one of the wooden house, one right at the middle of the village. This wooden house was extremely big and spacious like a hall and inside, there were piles of carcasses. Each pile with a hundred corpses at least, with one pile of these carcasses, Zixin would surely make a full recovery.

She’d initially come here to exterminate the goblins but seeing their overwhelming numbers and the mountains of carcasses, her plan changed. The goblins would continue to live their lives but it was temporary. She borrowed underground and didn’t come out for the whole day.

During the day, goblins in groups of twenty or thirties came back with animal carcasses, threw them inside the large wooden house that was the storage room then left. At least a thousand groups had returned with carcasses before leaving the village shortly after. Baby Poldi didn’t make any moves even when night came and passed. Even as the sun rose, she remained burrowed.

Only when the bustling noise of goblin hunters leaving did she wake up. The female goblins also started making noise and this was the signal that Baby Poldi had been waiting for. She burrowed about a hundred meters underground then crawled towards the storage room until she was right under it. A tunnel with a downward slope opened up beside here. The tunnel was also slippery and smooth.

Then, a second tunnel opened up above her. This tunnel was one that led to the floor of the storage room. Soon, the tunnel had reached the storage room where it opened and one pile of carcasses fell inside then closed up immediately. The old man who was on guard duty suddenly woke up with a raised eyebrow.

’Mhm?...Maybe it was my imagination.’ thought the old man but what he didn’t know was that a palm sized spider was sliding away with a pile of carcasses just below him.
