Chapter 79: Chapter 79

At night time, something fell from the sky and crashed inside a forest, destroying trees on its path.

Where it crashed, there was a crater with a ten meter radius and at the centre of this crater, there was a shiny black worm covered in metallic black fur. The worm didn’t have legs and it didn’t move, just laid there. A few minutes after it crashed there, a pack of wolves appeared from the dark forest and cautiously approached the maggot.

They sniffed at it from a safe distance until one wolf became bolder and approached the worm until it was inches away from its hairs. When its head touched the metallic black fur, it suddenly whimpered then ran away at full speed. The other wolves also ran away.

A few hours later, a wild rat approached the worm but after it touched the fur, the rat also ran away. Many animals approached the worm and all of them ran away after just touching the worm’s fur, even insects were no different. After that, all the animals never approached the worm again. In a hundred meter radius, not even an ant crossed that boundary, this area was completely silent and lifeless.

Time went by quickly, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months turned into years. In a blink of an eye, a hundred years had passed and the worm had remained still the whole time, not moving even an inch.

Plants had grown around the crater and also inside it. The worm was around 1.7 meters long and was now hidden in the cover of tall grass. And since no animal entered the one hundred meters radius, plants and grass thrived here because no herbivores ate them.

During the day, the sun had reached the peak and it was very hot, because the worm was black and had black hairs, it absorbed a lot of sunlight and this had been the case for a hundred years and today was no different. The sunlight was absorbed by the worm until something magical occurred.

The worm started to metamorphose and transform into a humanoid form. In its humanoid form, it had the appearance of a young man who looked frail and weak. This young man had six parts around his shoulders where his arms should be but he had none. The young man was stark naked as he slowly opened his eyes. His eyes were beautiful like rubies or rare gems.

Immediately when he woke up, a thin red film enveloped his body like clothes or a light of protection. When he woke up, he didn’t move an inch and just looked around with his ruby red eyes. This young man was none other than Xong Zixin whom Zbethr had banished into this world. His appearance was that of when he was sixteen and possessed this body.

’Where am I?’ thought Zixin as he looked around but except for grass and trees, he couldn’t see anything else.

’Zbethr, that bastard! I’m gonna get you for this!’ thought Zixin as he checked his internal situation and it was absolutely horrifying. Except for his gourd shaped heart that was intact and stable, he didn’t have any other internal organs, nor did he bones, only powder remained within his body. His Blood Essence was also dry, taking with it all his physical strength.

’What is this red energy that’s siphoning away my life force? It was probably the work of that bastard, no wonder I can’t heal my body.’ Zixin was both a vegetable and had crippled cultivation, calling him an ordinary person wouldn’t be an exaggeration.

He still had his Innate Abilities but now couldn’t access them because his brain was also invaded by the red energy, completely restricting him from his Innate Abilities, cultivation and healing factor. The only thing he had access to was his heart and System, only these two.

’I was already planning on treading the path of a Gu Master and you Zbethr, just gave me the ideal time to do so!’ exclaimed Zixin as a spider totem appeared on his heart.

’I used all my maggots in the war and now have none left but fortunately, I have one of Poldi’s Blood Essences. There’s still hope for me and you afterall. Since you’re the only Gu at my disposal, I won’t mistreat you and I won’t be stingy when upgrading you.’ said Zixin inwardly as he began to work.

Inside his Heart Space, Poldi’s Blood Essence floated in the air, Zixin’s heart pumped faster and faster until it produced a single drop of blood, Zixin’s face became deadly pale and he was now skin and bones, completely emaciated. His cheek bones were now visible and he looked like a dry tree branch.

His blood mixed with Poldi’s Blood Essence and the colour of the Blood Essence became black. Blue flames then appeared below the Blood Essence and started burning it, the Blood Essence kept shrinking until it was the size of a drop. There was a small metal fragment on the ground and it also fused into the Blood Essence.

’Hahaha, what an abomination I’m creating, hahaha! Blood Sense, Metal Devourer, Beetle Strength and Earth Manipulation Innate Abilities. I’ve also changed your race from a Demon to a Battle Beast, baby Poldi, I’ve put so much effort into creating a new you... don’t disappoint me!’ said Zixin inwardly with a crazed voice.

With so many Innate Abilities infused into it, whatever Spider Gu that was going to come out as a final product wasn’t something to be looked down upon. Zixin was creating a monster that the Nilrem World wasn’t ready for.

From the blood drop, eight thick furred legs grew out, the colour of the fur was navy blue, what followed next was a golden abdomen and lastly, two curved spider fangs with extreme sharpness. The spider had no eyes and looked nothing like a Black Widow Spider, instead, it looked like a hybrid between a tarantula and a jumping spider. The spider was the size of an adult’s palm or a small bowl.

’Baby Poldi, the Herculean Sealed Spider!’
