Chapter 140: Chapter 140
The Bomb are some of the most feared ants in the world because of how dangerous they are. They are not aggressive or invasive ants but when their home is attacked, they self destruct and release a sticky and toxic poison that either kills or severely wound their enemies and most of the time, the enemies succumb to their injuries. Depending on the Bomb Ant’s rank, the bigger the explosion the stronger it is.
After exploding, toxic gases rare released in the air in a certain radius and everything exposed to these toxins don’t live to tell the tale. The Queen Ant is High Rank 9 and her Super Soldiers are between Rank 8 and Low Rank 9, Soldiers are between Rank 5 to Rank 7 and her Workers are Rank 4 and below.
The Worker Ants have the largest numbers within the colony and are the ones with the most unstable Mana and toxicity. Zixin approached the ant army without any fear and wasn’t attacked by the ants with their mandibles. When he was close to the queen ant, Zixin gestured with his hand and the Super Soldier Ants lowered themselves and he climbed aboard and stood in front of the forty meters big ant queen who had eyes with intelligence.
"Are you willing to submit to me?" Zixin asked and the queen ant nodded, Zixin then contracted with it. Controlling the ant queen was like controlling the ant colony.
"For your first Transcendence, you chose Self Destruct and Toxic Attacks and you’re on the cusp of your second Transcendence. And for it, we’ll go with Flight and Ignite. I’ve only ever heard of nuclear bombs but never seen one in action. With you, I’ll be able to see just why Earthlings love and fear nukes so much." said Zixin with a burning gaze and anticipation for the future.
While Zixin walked into the swarm of certain death, Herald and Gerald neither stopped him nor followed him inside. With this many Bomb Ant, death was a certainty.
"Brother, just who is this guy we’re escorting?"
"I thought I knew but I don’t know anymore."
Back in the Dark Domain, weeks had gone by but no one had reached the depths of the Fissure Maze. Many goblins had perished and many students had also perished and the war was still ongoing. Rumours had begun to spread of a monster who absorbed the life and Mana of their victims, leaving the targets as dry husks. According to the rumours, this monster targeted both humans and goblins and didn’t discriminate between the two.
Many students and nobles wanted out of this trial but it was already too late. Without special teleportation treasures like the Return Scroll, they couldn’t leave this maze world and their only option was to fight and survive.
Somewhere in the Maze, there was an intense battle taking place. Lightning crackled and red flames ablaze.
"Are you the rumoured monster everyone has been talking about?" asked the middle aged man who’s hair and eyes were bluish white with lightning flickering around his body. He was like the god of thunder and lightning with his current appearance.
Standing opposite him was a hooded figure whose appearance couldn’t be seen and his skin was red and had black long nails that made him look like he wasn’t human.
"Since you don’t want to talk, I’m assuming you’re really the Blood Monster being talked about. I’ll eliminate you right here, right now!" shouted the middle aged man heroically and turned the created a lightning spear.
His speed was very fast and appeared in front of the Blood Monster with the spear about to stab the monster’s heart but the monster split into two and what was stabbed was the clone. It then sent multiple red fire balls releasing searing heat but the lightning man dodged them with ease. The man’s weapon changedfrom a lightning spear into a lightning whip that crackled with every swing from it.
The blood monster kept dodging the whip strikes but couldn’t dodge them all. The whip strikes were excruciatingly painful and left his body feeling numb.
’Damn it, damn it, damn it! I chose the wrong opponent. I thought there was only one monster in the academy but I was clearly wrong! I must escape or I’ll die!"
The Blood Monster slapped his hands on the ground and there area was a sea of flames but the lightning man had already taken to the skies and looked down at the Blood Monster with a fierce expression. Latest content publıshed on 𝔫𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔩✶𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚✶𝕟𝕖𝕥
[Lightning that penetrates, lightning that pierces, lightning that obliterates! Descend...]
’Damn it! An Incantation Spell! I really must leave! What a painful ironplate I kicked!’
[Souls of the Damned and Unwilling, I COMMAND you to Protect Me and receive FREEDOM!] The Blood Monster released countless red smoke like souls that flew towards the lightning man and without wasting time, activated a teleportation scroll and disappeared and just after teleporting away, a powerful voice reverberate in the surroundings.
[SMITE THEM ALL INTO OBLIVION! LIGHTNING RAIN!]
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
Countless thunder bolts rained down on the souls and obliterated all of them without leaving even a single one alive. The evil energy released by the souls was also vanquished then the lightning man slowly descended without caring about the destruction he caused of countless craters on the ground.
"The longer the Incarnations, the stronger the power but they take too long to complete. I must seek advice from father when I get back to the academy. And Blood Monster, if we cross paths again, you’re dead!" said the lightning man.
Blood Monster after teleporting appeared very far away from the lightning man. He was bleeding all over and took off his cloak to reveal a scholarly man. Blood Monster was actually Fahm and he’d gotten stronger. As he walked along the path, there was a loud explosion and a surge of Mana towards a certain location that was close by.
’6 Star Mage! Someone just advanced to 6 Star Mage. Since they haven’t stabilised their Mana, maybe I should try absorbing their Life Essence and Mana to recover and reach Mid 6 Stars! Whoever you are, here I come!’
