Chapter 122: Chapter 122

"What is the Devil’s name?" asked Zixin.

"The Devil’s name..."

"Mozard, he called himself Mozard of the Devil’s Elder Council." replied Abigail as her eyelids rose up slowly to reveal blood red pupils filled with anger and regret.

"Slaughtering your family for personal strength, I don’t blame you for that but I do have one question I want to ask, if you were to return to the past, would you take a different path or would you do it all over again?"

"We’d do it all over again!" the couple answered in unison without the slightest hesitation.

"Hahaha, very good! I love your resolve, there might be some good qualities to you after all."

The carriage continued to move until it reached the Adventurers Guild building which Zixin entered and went to the Guild Courier to deliver his products. After making the delivery, he posted the goods on his Guild Private Market. It had been a long time since he’d sold something in the market. He initially had planned to no longer sell products he now needed money, a lot of money.

Over the course of two months, he’d made preparations on what he was going to sell and he had a feeling that it would be a high commodity like all the stuff he sold in the past. The latest_epɪ_sodes are on_the 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹·𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲·𝗻𝗲𝘁

"Let’s sit here." said Zixin and sat on a random empty table. He’d set the time to proceed be in thirty minutes and all those who’d bought products from him before received a notification. The GPM Community also received notifications of an auction that would begin in thirty minutes, yes, an auction.

Jersse and Evan were the first to receive the auction notification from Mr Bug but Evan was longer as enthusiastic as he was in the past. If he hadn’t known Mr Bug’s identity then he’d be excited for the auction but now, anything he wanted, he simply had to ask for it. Jersse on the other hand was excited for the auction, even though he knew they wouldn’t be participating.

The second person to receive the auction notification from was Maeyd who was in the middle of a chase. When he received the notification, he stopped running and checked it.

"An auction. It seems the time has come for me to finally empty my pockets. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time, Mr Bug, I hope you don’t disappoint me!" said Maeyd to himself and went back to the goblin village.

Other people also received the notification and started preparing funds to participate in the auction. The new ones who didn’t know who Mr Bug was didn’t take this notification seriously and continued with whatever they were doing. But there were a few who decided to check it out, out of curiosity.

Even some of the upper echelon of the Adventurers Guild had taken notice of Zixin and one person in particular was greatly interested in Mr Bug. This man was currently laying on the bed with more than a dozen women who were asleep. He had reptilian eyes and some parts of his body were covered in scales and two horns grew on his head.

"An auction? Finally, I can buy some of Mr Bug’s unusual products."

Thirty minutes is a very short period of time so it passed by very quickly and soon, the auction began. This auction was digital so it didn’t need a host, just people to bid until someone everyone else stopped bidding.

The first item to be revealed were a hundred Rank 4 Aphids and each Aphid had ten thousand years worth of lifespan. The bidding price started at 2 billion with a bid increment of 100 million GP. Quickly, the bid began and the price rose from 2 billion to 3.5 billion, it rose again to 6 billion and people continued to bid.

The Aphids ended up being sold for 1.7 trillion GP and was bought by Maeyd.

The next item on the list was a Blood Purification Potion Recipe and could purify blood by 70% to 80% and it worked on all Bloodline Beings from Tier 1 Bloodline all the way to Tier 10 Bloodline irrespective of what type of Bloodline it was. The chances of a Tier 11 Bloodline being purified were less than 10% and zero for anything beyond that.

The starting bid for this Recipe was 5 billion with an increment of 250 million. In just a few seconds, the price rose from 5 billion all the way to 11 billion and continued to rise higher and higher. This Recipe ended up being sold for 2.2 trillion GP.

The third item on the list actually a Beast Tamer Legacy of the 13th Rank, meaning that with it, one would could tame even Rank 13 Venerable Magical Beasts which was a rank equivalent to 13th Star Sorcerer, just a step away from the Wizard level. Not only that, this legacy upon accepting it, would give the inheritor 30% likeability with all beasts.

This item’s starting bid was 15 billion with an increment of 1 billion. The bidders wherever they were, couldn’t believe that something would be auctioned off. Such legacies were practically invaluable, so valuable in fact that no matter how much money one offered, no one would be willing to sell. Their blood boil in joy and excitement as bidded like they were possessed by some greedy spirit.

15 billion GP turned into 750 billion in a matter of minutes and the bid was just getting started. The bids continued to rise until the price of the legacy reached an astounding 10 trillion and still rising. No one was willing to give up on such a treasure just like that and some bidders even resorted to borrowing money from their close friends just to obtain this legacy. And in the end, this legacy was bought by someone called Wild Lord who bought it at a whopping 63 trillion GP.

As soon as Wild Lord obtained the legacy, he left the bidding zone and everyone in his shoes would have done the same thing. Others regretted not being wealthy enough and having to pass up on such a treasure left them feeling extremely uncomfortable. Since the bidding hadn’t ended, everyone was looking forward to the next item.
