Chapter 1927: Chapter 1927
As Ryle cast an inexplicable look over, everyone on the World Wealth Garden Building instinctively took a step back. Indeed, things were about to get unfun, yet for them, it was quite entertaining!
Once the Endless Journey from afar finished off the remaining three Level 8 Radiated Species, it would be Ryle’s turn, and then they’d see if he could still keep smiling.
But before that, they had to guard against this guy suddenly attacking them, as Ryle, after all, was also a Level 8 zombie, and killing them would be all too easy for him!
Fortunately, Ryle merely glanced over and quickly turned away, not deciding to attack Ren Xingtang and the others, instead quietly continuing to watch the ongoing battle outside.
After the fifth Level 8 Radiated Species was blown to smithereens by a dazzling green laser beam, the young man controlling the mecha immediately halted. After this strike, he finally felt a hint of fatigue, his consciousness becoming slightly blurred as if drunk, yet he maintained an excited demeanor.
"Three more to go, bring it on! Let me finish you off!"
The mecha began to advance with heavy steps, rumbling toward the remaining three Level 8 Radiated Species, the damaged parts on its body rattling incessantly as it moved.
However, the three Level 8 Radiated Species were not in good condition either, with one of them moving awkwardly due to reduced vitality. Follow current ɴᴏᴠᴇʟs on 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭•𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚•𝕟𝕖𝕥
Of course, under such circumstances, Ryle wouldn’t let these Level 8 zombies march to their deaths. As soon as he broadcast his brainwave, the three-headed radiated species hesitated not a bit and swiftly turned to flee, a scene that left everyone stunned, but once they snapped back to reality, they burst into laughter.
"Ha! They actually chickened out!"
"Laughable, weren’t they quite formidable before? Why run now?"
"..." People loudly mocked, seemingly at the fleeing three-headed Level 8 Radiated Species, but in truth, they were ridiculing Ryle. Yet Ryle remained unmoved, facing the shattered window pane, maintaining his previous stance as he gazed outside. People only talked tough but none dared to approach him, so nobody truly knew what expression Ryle wore at that moment.
The young man controlling the mecha saw the three-headed Radiated Species fleeing and instinctively wanted to pursue, but the next moment they saw the three zombies scattering in different directions, forcing him to cease pursuit, glance around, appearing somewhat confused.
The towering over twenty meters Endless Journey stood out starkly amidst the dark red zombie tide.
Soon, the boy’s attention turned entirely to the zombie wave. Since those three Level 8 zombies fled, next up were these ants! They ought to savor being slaughtered at will!
Soon, he was seen manipulating the mecha to charge, the steel-made feet trampling back and forth within the zombie tide. Countless zombies got crushed to mush, turning the ground into a perforated mess.
Meanwhile, the battlefield’s shift drew the anti-human organization members’ attention within the Mengjiao base, who are amid chaos. It didn’t take long before some anti-human organization members rode zombie birds and charged toward the youth, trying to exploit the breaches created earlier by the Level 8 Radiated Species to cripple the mecha.
But if even the Level 8 Radiated Species couldn’t handle the Endless Journey, how could these anti-human organizations possibly shake it?
Just as the zombie bird swarm barely neared the mecha, some captured by the youth-controlled mecha were effortlessly torn in half, resembling roasted chickens!
The anti-human organization members on their backs were also snagged one after another, squished and trampled into mush!
The shrill screams were eerily more chilling than the zombies’ roars!
On the other side, upon seeing the anti-human surround the mecha, a spark of inspiration suddenly flickered in Ryle’s mind. Who knew what he thought, but a smile appeared on his previously expressionless face.
"Found something fun..." he muttered, grinning once more.
"Hehehe, sorry, my friends."
Still pondering, Ryle emitted another brainwave, while simultaneously, one of the three Level 8 Radiated Species that had fled abruptly halted, violently crashing from the sky to the ground!
The massive commotion immediately drew the attention of numerous nearby Silver-armored Zombies, and upon discovering this kindred of a different type, the entire Silver-armored Zombie tide erupted, roaring as they charged toward the Radiated Species, attempting to assimilate it!
But it disregarded these Silver-armored Zombies, as the widespread Silver-armored Zombie occurrences due to Northern Tang Ye’s faction had made their distribution extensive, with almost every former city north having at least ten percent Silver-armored Zombies!
Before the surrounding Silver-armored Zombie horde could encircle, this Level 8 Radiated Species leaped swiftly, sprinting back toward the earlier escape route, soon sighting the Endless Journey that had tossed itself and its kind in disarray.
At this moment, the youth’s enemy had become the anti-human organization, ripping each Zombie Bird into halves, with copious severely decayed visceral tissues cascading down, drenching the zombies in the zombie tide below.
It didn’t immediately charge, preferring to remain behind the mecha per the Zombie King’s orders. Soon, finding an opportunity, it growled lowly, its flesh writhing to form fine tentacles entwining together, eventually sculpting a thick armor on its body!
The moment the armor fully formed, the Level 8 Radiated Species let out a furious roar, the terrifying cry sending visible sound waves rippling through the air. The young man controlling the mecha jerked in surprise, immediately realizing one of the previously fleeing three-headed zombies was back!
Though not sure why, he couldn’t concern himself with that now!
As the time controlling the mecha grew longer, fatigue became increasingly apparent. He knew he couldn’t sustain much longer, the sleepiness mounting beyond a certain point, closing his eyes might inadvertently see him never reopening them to the world again.
After ten-plus years of the apocalypse, humanity’s continuity remains a mystery for the near future. He couldn’t gauge the probability, but it certainly wasn’t vast, and humanity’s perseverance hinges on everyone’s efforts. Thus, with whatever little time left, he needed to muster all his strength to clear some obstacles for humanity!
Killing one more Level 8 would mean fewer troubles for those who follow!
