Chapter 1912: Chapter 1912
The mutated creature dangling from his heel above the ground chuckled softly at Tang Ye, whose expression turned peculiar. With the silver hue on this creature vanishing soon after, Tang Ye released it, gazing into its eyes. He knew that the mutated creature before him was no longer the same; its consciousness had already transformed into that of the Radiation Zombie King dwelling in some unknown corner!
Their gaze met, unaffected by the barriers of space!
Once released by Tang Ye, this mutated creature... No! It should now be referred to as the Radiation Zombie King. It stepped back a few paces, slightly raising its hands as if adapting to this body. Shortly after, the entire body, including the head, underwent changes, countless fine tendrils sprouted, altering its original visage and changing its color.
A mass of tendrils interwoven, changing color, then formed clothes and pants. Before long, the initially grim and terrifying mutated creature turned into a roughly thirty-year-old young man with rugged features. He glanced at Tang Ye with a mischievous smile.
"Meeting you for the first time, I’m delighted to make your acquaintance, my friend."
The tone of this guy was very gentle, making it difficult to harbor any dislike, yet the strange accent reminded Tang Ye of watching a particular foreign TV show before the Apocalypse with its awkward English direct-translation voice... The flavor was just too strong!
Right now, all Tang Ye wanted to think was: Oh! My! God!
But, he had to admit, upon the moment the other spoke, Tang Ye felt this guy might indeed be interesting. Raising his eyebrow, he mimicked its accent, saying, "Oh~"
"I’m also delighted to make your acquaintance, my dear friend from afar. So, according to your customs, I believe we should share a hug, don’t you think, my friend?"
Tang Ye’s reply left the other momentarily silent for a few seconds. For some reason, hearing Tang Ye mimic his speech made Ryle, who was zoning out somewhere, feel a wave of nausea.
How could there be such... zombies!
But he was silent for only a short while, quickly returning to his usual self. As before, he responded to Tang Ye in that terrible Chinese accent: "Naturally!"
Thus, under Ryle’s control, the mutated creature extended its arms, moving towards Tang Ye, while Tang Ye squinted his eyes before finally stepping forward to meet it.
Just , the two Zombie Kings embraced, a scene that left the surrounding people, including Hu Ji’s four brothers, utterly bewildered; none knew what was happening, only suddenly seeing Tang Ye embrace the mutated creature...
But they only embraced briefly; it seemed more like a gesture. Quickly, both released each other, Tang Ye’s face beaming with a smile as he queried, "So now, are we friends?"
The mutated creature, now Ryle, raised his head to ponder for a while before laughing heartily: "Haha, haha, of course we are friends now!" Hearing this, Tang Ye’s grin turned even brighter.
"So, since we’re friends, buddy, shouldn’t you consider our friendship, like leaving this land, not causing trouble for your friend?"
Ryle remained unperturbed by Tang Ye’s words, shortly replying with a smile: "Oh, rushing to expel a visiting friend from your home isn’t polite behavior."
Tang Ye snorted with a smileless laugh, cursing inwardly, "To hell with ’friend’!" Yet outwardly, he maintained his elegant smile, expressing nothing as he merrily replied in the same tone: "But, causing trouble for your friend isn’t polite behavior either."
"Oh no, no, I think you have misunderstood me!"
"Our lives aren’t satisfactory, my dear friend, you should understand what I’m saying."
"Rest assured, I will patiently listen to you finish." Tang Ye nodded, while opposite him, Ryle seemed to enjoy the conversation as well.
"Every life in this world is struggling, like maggots writhing in a toilet; we still yearn for light, stepping towards a better life. But all these require material support; both we and they are ... Am I correct?" Saying this, Ryle pointed towards several Level 8 New Humans observing from afar.
Tang Ye glanced in the direction pointed, merely nodding without uttering a word. He was curious what plan this guy had up his sleeve!
"I hold a belief, yet sincerely hope you can comprehend as well; our mother is solely one, this beautiful planet beneath our feet. She nurtured us, so we should cherish her rather than wantonly destroy, my friend."
"Thus, abandoning disputes is the perfect respect for nature. Compared to conflicts, we have a better option, don’t we?"
"And fairness is crucial; no entity should monopolize all benefits, as this would only spawn more trouble." After speaking, Ryle tilted his head, smiling, awaiting Tang Ye’s reply.
His meaning was clear; he almost spelled it out, the Four Great Zombie Kings’ invasion wasn’t without reason; they had a compelling rationale, just as humans resist them!
In some sense, Ryle was doing the same thing as Tang Ye, striving for zombies and humans to coexist peacefully, each securing their needs. If the Zombie Kings could compromise, humans could nearly thrive and recuperate as they did before the Apocalypse, quickly resolving food scarcity, ensuring human survival.
But the premise is humans must exist like livestock, the fundamental for zombies to continue their species!
This seems too absurd, shattering the worldview! Generally, it would be unacceptable!
On Tang Ye’s side, it’s about establishing an ecosystem unique to zombies, using a zombie motherlode as the foundation to complete a cycle satisfying all zombie hierarchies internally! Follow current novᴇls on 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹~𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮~𝚗𝚎𝚝
However, viewing from a human’s perspective taking a zombie’s stance, this is even less acceptable; it’s like humans having children, not for raising them but eating their children to satiate hunger!
This is more distorted! More incomprehensible!
Ultimately, whichever choice is made would be unfair to the other party; handling this is difficult, which may lead to abandoning dominion, letting both species resolve in the most barbaric, primitive manner, which is combat, drawing a victorious conclusion! The winning party decides the defeated one’s fate!
Only in this manner, it assures fairness but likely ends in mutual devastation.
