Second, authors need to make a living too. It might only take you a minute or two to read a Chapter, but for the author, it can take an hour or even longer. After each Chapter is written, I have to ensure its quality and check it carefully twice.

Third, authors are humans who need sustenance too! A Chapter is just a dime, and subscribing monthly or to a membership costs just a few cents, not adding up to more than a few dimes a day! By buying one less skin, smoking a few less cigarettes, you can support an author.

Fourth, if you book, why not spend some book coins to support it? If it’s not to your taste, no big deal. It’s not like you are being forced to buy, right?

Fifth, I can finally update freely in the future! No longer do I have to worry about the editor holding me back from updating. I can update however I want! Ha ha ha ... From now on, I’ll guarantee at least six updates a day! Starting tomorrow afternoon at twelve, it’s time for a burst of updates! Let’s have a blast!!

Lastly, I would like to share some personal thoughts.

I’ve been writing for six years now, and it’s truly been hard! I haven’t made any money; it’s all been about working just to survive and to write.

I’ve switched many jobs, moved bricks on a construction site, carried mud in the Heilong River under heavy snow at minus twenty-something degrees, worked as a security guard, lived in a basement, all just to keep pursuing my humble dream of writing! Hoping one day I could make a living solely through writing online.

My family doesn’t understand, saying I’m not pursuing a proper career! Friends mock me, thinking I have no talent in writing and that I’m just fooling around!!
