Derek's hadn't felt much anger in his entire life, he felt betrayed by the woman he loved, he was such a fool to have fallen for her Innocent looking acts, she was having an affair with Stefan all along, just yesterday, she told him she loved him and today he had caught her with her lover, she had put on such a great show with him and he had fallen for her act, she was all in for his money while plotting to run away with Stefan, he had thought her different but his eyes were now opened to see the truth about her, he carried an almost lifeless Stefan out and threw him outside. Reporters were standing just outside the house and they hoarded him immediately he opened the door, cameras flashed on his face, "Sir what do you have to say about the infidelity of your wife?" One of them questioned and Derek's answering stare had him gulping his saliva in fear, Derek walked to one of them furiously and punched him hard, "get out" he screamed at them and they clampered, he caught one of them still flashing his camera, irritated, he grabbed the camera and smashed it on the floor, "guards" he screamed and they came running, "do you all want to get fired this instance? Who the hell let these packs in?"

" We are sorry Sir," the guards said simply and turned to control the reporters, "I'll sue you for assault" the reporter he had punched snapped angrily at him and Derek stared at him coldly, " you're welcome to, now get out or you won't like the outcome, you are yet to realize this is a private property"

Derek walked back into the house and shut the door behind him.

Kathleen couldn't stand up from the floor, she felt such excruciating pain in her stomach, she held her stomach twisting, she felt liquid pooled in between her legs and she touched it, blood, she was losing her baby but she couldn't stand up, pain blinded her as she tried to move, the door suddenly opened and Derek came in, " help me please" she whispered from the floor, he gazed at her on the floor and his eyes rounded when he saw her in a pool of blood, he gave her a terrifying look as he carried her to his car and drove straight to the hospital.

Derek paced the hallway, he wished he could wake up and discover that it was all a bad dream, he feared for the life of the baby, his heart doesn't feel like his, it was full of pain and he was starting to have headaches.

The doctor finally came out and walked up to him, "Doctor, how's my wife and child"

The doctor touched his shoulder gently, "your wife is fine but I'm sorry, we couldn't save the baby, it's gone".

Derek felt numb as his world came crashing down, his child is gone, he stood there staring but seeing nothing, " I'm sorry" the doctor said walking away.

Pain clawed his heart and he struggled to breathe, tears gathered in his eyes.

She killed his baby, Kathleen, she had cheated on him with that bastard and now his baby is gone, he suddenly felt intense hatred for her, how could she be this cruel? How could she do this to him? He regretted allowing her into his life and now he would push her out of his life, because of her, his sweet little child was no more, he sat down still feeling numb as his world crumbled just before his eyes.

Tears ran down Kathleen's cheeks, the doctor had told her that she had lost her baby, her heart felt like it would explode, how many more pains could she bear in this life, Derek must hate her now thinking she had cheated on him and lost their baby, but she hadn't cheated on him, she had no idea these were Stefan's plans all along, she was sorry she hadn't listened to him earlier, she touched her stomach which was now empty, would Derek ever forgive her? She would explain that everything was set up by Stefan, she wept bitterly.

At home, Marcella was busy celebrating at the success of her plans, she had taken Stefan's almost lifeless body to the hospital and sat in her room drinking, "now let's see if he would still keep you in this house, worthless bitch". Her phone rang and she glanced at the caller, it was Nicole, she smiled, now, this was a lady that would help her execute all her plans, the initial plan was for Derek to marry Nicole and everything would have been easier for her, but no, he went to marry that bitch, although, it caused a delay in her plans, she was glad, her plans were now in motion.

"Hello," she said to Nicole and smiled wickedly at her question if everything had gone down well.

"Nothing could be more perfect" she laughed wickedly, "I'll tell you when you have to come in, just keep practicing on how to be very dramatic".

Nicole ended the call with Marcella, their plans were walking perfectly well, going exactly as planned, she smiled smugly, Derek must be in so much pain and Kathleen would be wondering how things could go wrong so fast, well, this is Nicole, she gets whatever she wants and threw it away anytime she was tired of it and right now, she wanted Derek and she was going to have him
