Chapter 9: Chapter 9
He picks me up and carries me to the shower. I love being carried by him. I love being in his arms.
He showers with me until we hear something. He gets out and leaves me in the shower.
“It is probably Waylen. I will go check,” he says as he steps out of the shower.
I continue showering. My body is still pulsing from the love he gave me.
“Miya, You need to get out. We have to talk,” Bishop says.
“Okay I am coming,” I say.
I jump out and quickly dress. I pull up my long hair with a hair tie and rub some moisturizer onto my face. I slip into my slippers and open the door.
I go out of the room and walk to the kitchen. My brother is waiting with my husband in the kitchen.
I lean over and kiss my brother on the cheek. “Good morning brother,” I say.
I sit down at the table. Bishop hands me a cup of Earl Grey tea. I blow on it while I wait for them to speak.
“Good News Sis,” he says.
I smile at him. My heart smiles. “Is it over,” I ask.
“Not exactly, but you can go home,” he says.
“Great,” I say.
“Mom will want to see you soon,” Waylen says.
“I have not seen mother since she sent me away. I would love to see her,” I say.
“There will be a meeting between King robin, Countess Wren and Queen Rowan. You both are to be there. The pack is changing and it is important they know the next generation will uphold to their laws,” Waylen says.
We both agree with Waylen. “Waylen, we understand how important this is,” I say.
Bishop agrees. “No worries Waylen, We will both be there. We both agree with the pack laws,” he says.
Waylen shakes his head. “I hope this goes well,” he says.
“I am sure it will be fine,” Bishop says.
I smile at them both. If this goes well I can be with the love of my life and my family.
I leave Waylen and Bishop to talk and I go on the porch with my tea. My heart is so happy. I could smile forever.
As I sit here looking at the beautiful scenery I notice something in the woods.
What is that? I wonder. I keep staring at the woods. I see fur. It is a wolf. A white wolf. It is two wolves. They are beautiful.
I can hear them. I can hear a little of them. I can hear them. My wolf starts screaming inside me. She is screaming. I cannot control her.
I am not sure what my wolf is saying. She is out of control. The wolves are communicating with her. I cannot figure out what is being said.
I feel someone touch me. “Are you okay,” Waylen asks. “You were screaming.”
“What?” I ask.
“You were screaming,” Bishop says as he kneels beside me.
“There was a wolf. There was two not just one, they were trying to communicate with me,” I say.
Waylen and Bishop look at each other. I feel like they know something they are not telling me.
“What is it? I thought everything was okay?” I ask.
“It is nothing, my love. Do not worry my little wolf everything is fine. Your wolf is having a hard time adapting to hearing another wolf. Think about it. When was the last time your wolf spoke to another wolf,” Waylen says.
“Ours wolves talk,” I respond.
“That is different, you are my sister,” Waylen says.
“Right, I get it Waylen, I did not realize I was screaming. I did not mean to scare you guys. I think it hurt my head. My wolf went crazy. She was bouncing inside my head. I could hear her trying to communicate but I have no idea what she was saying,” I respond.
I could feel the two of them looking at me. What are they hiding? I am sure what ever it is they are just looking out for me and my best interest. I love them both. I can not wait to be a family again.
