While at the mall, Ashy distracted herself by looking at the goods. Sh also liked some clothes, so she bought them. She was so busy with work and preparing for her wedding with Paul that she forgot to enjoy it. She had forgotten that she had friends.

Sometimes she thought she was no longer what she used to be. She also forgot that everyone also needs a day-off. Fortunately, her body did not give up despite the fatigue and pain she was experiencing.

Later, she noticed that her friend Jem was not beside her. She looked at her. She just smiled when she saw her. She was talking on the phone when she told her to wait for her. Later, she came to her.

"I thought you were gone ahh. Who are you talking to?" After a while, there was nothing more to her.

"Ahh that's it, my lover. He wants us to meet but , I said next time, I want to share this day with you

Ashy just shook her head and then followed.

After shopping, they ate at their favorite restaurant.

"Did you miss it? You don't eat in this place anymore. Paul takes you to expensive restaurants. Maybe you've already missed our favorite street foods." Jem's response to her friend who had already eaten was supposed to be tampering.

"You know the effect of the mall on you is different, don't you? You're getting very emotional. What are you saying? Sissy, nothing has changed. I'm still the same. I've just been too busy. You know Paul. When our wedding was near, he became busy. He couldn't even accompany me to our appointments, " she drank and then took a deep breath.

"Don't you miss him? Haven't you ever felt that he is still the flesh of your heart?" Jem had no irritating questions to answer.

"Jem, how many times do I have to repeat myself to you? Storm and I have been through a long time. It's been a long time since the day he chose to marry Girlie. Then he chose to leave me. Even though it hurts, I can handle it. At least I accepted it painfully. I have no choice then and still I don't have a choice right now but to instill in my brain that we are through

, " she said tearfully to her friend.

Jem didn't say a word. She also knew how much her friend was hurt then and she would not want to see it again in such a situation.

They were about to leave the mall when Jem spoke politely.

"Sissy, Mark and I talked about meeting today. You know the friends thing? You're also our friend, aren't you? You probably don't have anything to do, so come with us. " held her hand, the friend was sad and somehow she also wanted her to have fun.

"You're really going to touch me. I guess you're just going on a date, and yet you want me to witness it. You're going to bring a chaperone, and I'm really the one you chose. " she widened her eyes, then laughed out loud.

"What date are you on there? That stupid guy doesn't even pay attention to me. I've been liking someone for a while. I'm just here. I'm hesitant to flirt with him, right? He's tough, though I know I'll almost melt when I stare at him. He owns me. " The friend bragged and then hit her with her long hair.

Ashy just laughed at what her friend did. It had been as long as they had noticed that they needed Mark. Maybe no one just wants to admit it to the two of them. Love again. Sometimes people get numb. What a shame it is to admit that you love someone. It's just like Ashy, trying to fight the feeling that she wants to get rid of for a long time.

"Ohh you're dreaming there again, you can't talk sensibly again. What, you're with us? " she snapped her finger in front of Ashy, who was then far away from her mind.

"Is it now? I would have taken home the things I bought first. Besides, I'll let mom know." That's why she was still hesitant at the time.

Ashy doesn't know where they will find Mark. They have been in the car for more than an hour and the shark has not stopped driving. They had almost passed most towns and there were hardly any houses passing by.

"Why do we seem to be so far away, Jem? We are far away from civilization, aren't we?. Houses are rare here already? Where is Mark?" later Ashy asked.

"Don't make any noise there, I think we're lost. This is just like Mark, because I was chosen to go here. I think he has a plan to rape me. I'm serious, if you're not with me yet, maybe that's what I'm really going to think," Jem nodded. It was obvious from the look of annoyance on the friend's face.

"You guys? You have some functions like this. Maybe he just wants to marry you, so he sent you here. Then you brought me with you. Ohh I'm scared, his plan was about to get broken. You shouldn't have included me." Ashy laughed, because she knows how it feels when a lover is disappointed.

"The plan will be ruined if you don't. Besides, we'll be close. Don't be bored. We'll just get there in a little while. He sent me to the exact place. " she smiled at her as if her face had suddenly cleared.

"Hmmm.. okay, you said it. Just wake me up when we're there, "she would have closed her eyes when Jem spoke again.

"Don't go to sleep, your sleep will be ruined, we're close to our destination. Do you see the house at the end? We're going there, " she pointed to the palace-like house not far away. View it from below. That means they are going up.

Ashy gasped at the sight. It was only then that he realized that they were at the top and that they could see the civilization at the bottom.

They are still uphill and will definitely be even better than the next ones she will see.

"Wow! Jem, it's nice here. Mark is really different, isn't he? The place he chose is nice. Can't he propose to you? Because why is he sending you to this place?" Ashy's face was full of joy at what she saw. She could not hide her admiration for the sights. She suddenly became emotional.

"Ohh why? Why are you even more emotional there than me? Hey! This is my moment? You're having another moment. You're so affected, annd I almost been carried away with your emotions. I'm the one who was invited here, "Jem just laughed at the visible reaction from her friend. She knows why Ashy is so emotional.

"It's a beautiful place," she replied sparingly. That was all and she wiped the tears from hee eyes.

"You cried because this is how you and Storm dreamed back then. You'll be together in this place. It's one of his promises that he never fulfilled. That's why you're getting emotional. Ashy, I'm sorry if I have to do this. If I have to include you here even though I know how it will affect you. At least now I know I didn't get worse today." meaningful friend's words. Then she focused on driving as they were going up to a palace-like house.

She replied shyly to her friend.

Jem just smiled at her and then touched her hand.
