Christian ran out glimpsing Diane unconscious, as he turns his gaze to me.
"I have a black belt in karate" I muttered back, thus he jerks his head not being surprised about it when the police came in and took her and Felix away.
Abruptly we went back inside, seeing how tensed everyone was when Mrs. Hernandes rushed to her son.
"Are you okay son" she held her hand on his face, glimpsing if he had any scrape.
"Am fine" he responded pulling her hands away, as he walks off avoiding her gaze.
Thereafter he came down, pinning his gaze downwards as he walked to where his parents were sited.
"What is it, son?" His father asked him, thus he plops down with his knees in the ground.
"Get up " Mrs. Hernandes tries pulling him but he jerks her away, then he alters to them.
" Am sorry for everything I have done, all this year's, am sorry for how I have treated my family, am sorry that I was blinded by my godfather, please forgive me".
I saw how hurt he was and each word he alters was sincere, indeed his godfather did a number on him.
"They're nothing to forgive son, glimpsing your father and I were not good parents and role models to you, we are sorry too" Mrs. Hernandes yanked him up, in an embrace, when she fixed her gaze to me, uttering these words " thank you".
Truthfully, I have no idea what I did, but it felt nice seeing everyone was happy after a long time, now that the villain as been exposed.
"Please come with me" the words of Christian drew me back to reality, thus I implore where we were going too.
"Please" he muttered the magic words to me, thus I decided to oblige him.
When we drove off to my house, as I glimpsed at it, recalling the incident back at the church.
"Get down please" he alters to me with a calm voice, as I got down without any hesitation.
He knocks on the door when dad opens it and glanced at us there, though I thought the moment he sees us, he might slam the door on us but he did the opposite of what I thought.
"My baby girl" dad pulled me for a hug, running his hands on my hair, while I wore a shocked look on my face.
He dragged us inside, glamouring out to my sister and mom, as they rushed out glimpsing me with Christian there.
Anna was so happy to see me, but mom not so much, as she requested us to leave immediately.
"No way Mom" Anna clenched onto her arms pulling her behind.
"Shut up Anna" mom angrily yanked her arms away from her, thus my sister wasn't willing to do so this time, as she responds to mom with a harsh tone.
"No, you shut up mom, enough, I am sick and tired of you tantrums and how you always tag my sister the evil child of the family and how your willing to sell the happiness of your children for your earthly desires".
Anna altered to mom, who stood there gwarking at the daughter that as never spoken back at her.
"Please Anna, stop it" I walked up to her, but she seems to have had enough of everything.
"Don't ask me to stop sister, I think it's time for our dear mother to find out the truth, and for once mend her I'll thoughts about you".
"What are you talking about?" Mom asserted to her glaring confused thus Anna confessed everything to her, literally everything from the affair with Christian back in school down to the switch we made at the church".
"This isn't true" she turns to dad, as he jerks her head notifying her all my sister said was true.
Mom dropped to the sofa stunned as to what she heard, thus Christain swoops in apologizing also for his wrong deeds, but dad figured Anna was the one that needed his apology the most and not us.
"Can we talk please?" he says to her, as she left walking ahead of him.
"Am listening" she alters with a harsh tone, the moment they stepped in the room.
"Okay, I know you hate me and you probably want to kill me" Christain asserted to my sister.
"You have no idea, how pleasing that thought is" Anna respond back turning her gaze to a knife that was placed on the table.
"Whoa, hold on a minute please" Christain drew her attention back, as she waited for his response.
"Phew, I know that I have been the scum of the earth, I have been selfish, wicked, short-tempered but In all, I am lucky we didn't get married to each other"
Thus before my sister could ask why he tells her all that happened hours ago.
Anna printed a shocked look on her, as she imagines what would have happened if she got married to him.
"Am sorry Anna for everything, please forgive me, and from now on, I'll work on myself" he replies to Anna, thus she responds back to him
"It's okay, glimpsing how everything worked out, I am grateful I didn't get married to you also"
"Yes, it would have been a big mess and your sister would have literally found a way to kill me" those words made Anna chuckle out, as they both walked off back to meet us.
The way they walked out Chuckling together, I figured everything must have been settle between them, Christain thanked them, when Anna asked if I could stay a day with them, thus he had no problem with it.
looked at mom and glimpsed how quiet she was, it was like she just had a reality check
"Mom" I called her out, as she looks at me but before I could say any words she alters to me.
"I am proud to call you my daughter, thus if you can sacrifice your own happiness to save your family and most especially your sister, then indeed I bless the day you were born" mom showers blessings at me, clenching my hands, and she also apologized to Anna for not being able to help her when she needed it, thus to dad too.
Abruptly I can finally breathe again, hence all these while it felt like a huge burden was taken off my shoulders. My sister and I stayed awake, talking and catching up, thus the sister I knew before wasn't there anymore, all though she was still calm, as she decides to speak up her mind and not die in silence.
The next day, Christain woke up, thus he gets dressed, holding some couple of files in his hands, as he walks downstairs, but a glimpse at me walking towards him with a smile.
He pinned a huge smile also on his face, but later on, figured he was the only daydreaming, thus I wonder why?.
Meanwhile, mom woke us up with a kiss, as we jerk up from the bed gawking at her.
