Chapter 8: Chapter 8

"At last you came home, queen! Is it time to come home? What was the need to come? You could've stayed outside. You could enjoy being outside with your friends and I'm here to die by doing all the work, right? I'm getting so angry. I am dying with so much work at home and you queen stayed outside the whole time. What you are thinking, huh? Will you become a judge or a barrister by studying? I know you very well. You don't want to work, that's why you are late."

As soon as Calista entered the house, she heard these harsh words from her stepmother Kyrie Ivelle.

Calista responded with a sigh, "Don't worry, mom. I am doing all the work now. You go and relax. Have a rest."

Kyrie Ivelle glanced at Calista with her sharp eyes and left. Calista left the shoulder bag on the couch and went to the kitchen for work with a tired body. She knew very well that Kyrie wasn't tired at all. She only asked Calista just to belittle her, which is her daily work. It seems like if Kyrie doesn't insult Calista, her food wouldn't digest at all. And Calista understands this all.

After finishing all the work Calista came to her room and took a bath. Calista's stepbrother Easton Ivelle was lying on Calista's bed with his arms and legs spread. Calista went forward and saw Easton looking up and smiling alone.

Calista frowned and looked up once and then at Easton and then said, "What happened brother? Why are you smiling like this?"

After listening to Calista, he jumped up and sat up.

He said with a smile on his face, "At last sister, you have come. Sit down. I have a story to tell."

Easton pulled Calista and sat her on the bed.

Calista saw Easton smiling shyly.

She asked again curiously, "What's the matter? Did something happen at school?"

Easton nodded his head.

Calista tilted her head and said, " That means yes. What happened?"

Easton replied, "Actually sister, I, I don't mean to, I have done …"

"What did you do? Tell me exactly. "

"I did that."

Easton said that shyly. And Calista had no idea what he was saying.

Calista asked, "I don't understand anything. Did you fight with someone?"

Easton looked at Calista. His smile faded.

Easton uttered,."Hey, what do you say, why should I fight? I kissed. I just kissed. That's all."

Calista was so shocked to hear Easton.

She exclaimed, "What? what did you say?"

Easton said with a shy smile, "I kissed Mia."

Calista felt like her head was struck by lightning. And this light is not gonna shine. All she was hearing was kisses all day. Calista was wondering if the kissing god has showered on them today or not? Both brother and sister have done the same thing.

Calista's stepsister Sienna Ivelle came to her mother's room and said, "Mom, give me some money."

Kyrie looked at Sienna and asked, "How much do you need?"

Sienna responded, "20,000 dollars will do."

Kyrie looked at Sienna with her raised brow.

Kyrie asked, "What will you do with so much money?"

"Actually I have a friend's birthday party. So I will do some shopping. Won't you give me money?"

Kyrie sighed and said angrily, "Didn't you go shopping last week? Now again? Look, now your father's business is having some losses. So your cost should be reduced a little."

Sienna irritably said, "Why are you doing this, mom?"

"Look, I always give you what you want. Even the money that your father gives me to give Calista, I even give you that money. So listen to me. You have many clothes. Wear something from them."

Sienna looked at Kyrie angrily then left without saying anything.

But she said with a smile in her heart, " I will take the money no matter what."

7-30 pm. Rosalie was sitting on the couch in the living room. She was watching some cartoons on TV. Harold came from behind and slapped Rosalie on her head. Rosalie put her hand on her head and looked at Harold with an angry look. Harold sat on the couch and took the remote control from Rosalie.

Rosalie said, annoyed, "What's your problem brother? Don't you like it when I stay at peace? Why do you always disturb me!"

Harold gritted his teeth and said, "I really don't like it when you live peacefully. My stomach started feeling unwell, it feels like I have a stomach ache everytime I see you."

Saying that, Harold started to laugh out loud. He always loves to tease Rosalie.

Rosalie said angrily, "Give me my remote."

"I will not. Isn't it your study time? Why aren't you reading? Do you just go to school just for a fashion show? And why do you always watch cartoons! I will look for a husband for you just like that cartoon. Then sit and watch him all day."

Rosalie responded, annoyed, "Look bro, it won't be good if you do not stop, I'm telling you. I will tell my brother everything. Then see how fun it is."

Harold smiled and said, "Hey, whatever you say sis. What do you think? Am I afraid of your brother? Well, I'm not."

Rosalie just crookedly smiled hearing him. Then both started to watch TV. Harold watched TV for some time and went to the kitchen to drink water. While drinking water, he remembered about Rhino.

Harold came to Rosalie and said again, "I have breaking news today about your brother Rhino."

Rosalie's annoyance became a little soft now hearing Harold.

She said in a calm voice, "What news, brother?"

Harold didn't say anything. He crookedly smiled and sat on the couch with both hands spread on the couch and feet on the table in a kingly posture.

Harold uttered, "I'm not in the mood right now."

Hearing Harold, Rosalie patted Harold's shoulder and said humbly, "Please, say bro, why are you doing this? You are my handsome, cute, sexy brother. You are the best brother in the world. Please say what Rhino brother had done."

Harold put an act in front of Rosalie and uttered,." How can I tell you? Don't you see my hands and legs are aching? If someone massages a little, I might have been able to say it. But who is gonna massage my hands and legs? Is there anyone in this merciless world who will do a little service to this wretch?"

Looking at Rosalie, Harold said those words in a sarcastic voice. Rosalie understood very well that Harold is now making good use of the opportunity. Rosalie was furious inside. She wanted to press Harold's throat, not his hands or feet. But there was nothing to do now. Now she had to serve this rhinoceros to hear the news.

Rosalie said with a forced smile on her face, "Why not. Don't you have a lovely little sister? When will she come in handy? I will massage your hands and legs."

Rosalie gritted her teeth and started pressing Harold's feet. Harold's face was smiling.

Rosalie said after a while, "Now tell me brother."

Harold took a deep breath and said, "How can I say it? The throat is dry and completely cut. If someone had some coffee, maybe I could talk better."

Rosalie now wanted to split Harold's head in two.

Rosalie said through gritted teeth, "Don't worry bro, I will bring it now."

Harold burst into laughter as Rosalie got up and went to the kitchen. Harold got a good tool to have fun.

After a while, Rosalie came with coffee and said to Harold, "Take this. Drink it and tell me quickly what happened. If my patience is broken, it will not be very good."

Harold understood that Rosalie was getting angry. He shouldn't tease her more. Otherwise the results may be reversed.

Then Harold cleared his throat and said, "Yes, yes, I will say. You have served me so much. And I have to pay for it. The boss is talking here."

Rosalie sat on the couch happily.

Harold said enthusiastically, "Do you know what happened in the university today?"

Rosalie asked with interest, "What happened?"

"A girl today.."

"a girl?" Rosalie repeated.

"To Rhino."

"To Rhino!" she repeated again.

Harold said again, "To Rhino!"

Rosalie was losing her patience.

She said, "Can't you hurry?"

Harold uttered, "Kissed."
