Chapter 58: Chapter 58

Chapter 58 Lessons of Dana Roosevelt

Dana returned to school early the next day. The girl happily dragged the suitcase, and suddenly felt better than ever. She can finally return to normal campus life after her mishap. As long as she returns to school, she believed that everything will be on track.

As soon as she entered the bedroom door, she saw that another piece of luggage together with several personal belongings was already placed on her original bed.

"How is this going?"

Dana was stunned. 'Is it because someone else moved in?' Her other roommate next to her looked and said. "A media student suddenly moved in yesterday. I told the dormitory that this bed belongs to you. But they still let her move in!"

Dana looked dumbfounded, unable to process what will happen to her now. "Then, where should I live now?"

"I'm sorry Dana, I don't know." Her roommate said guiltily.

"Dana, I'm sorry. I failed to help you keep your bed. Our new roommate's parents seem to be good. It must be because they are influential that they suddenly let their daughter live in the dormitory without prior notice. Otherwise, they can't just drive you away. Why don't you go to the dormitory committee's office to intercede?"

Sighing, Dana nodded to agree with her roommate's suggestion.

At noon.

Dana dragged his suitcase and walked on the campus with a sullen expression. She arrived at the school gate and was greeted by the scorching sun. She looked up at the sky and sighed in defeat.

'Ugh, why is my life so miserable. Yesterday, I was informed that I could live in and get back to the dorm. But today, my bed was taken away by others.' Just now, she also asked the dormitory to explain the situation. The dormitory head reasoned out that the beds in the girls' dormitory are tight recently. If she wants to stay, she can only wait for their arrangement. Dana didn't have any choice but to wait for their notice.

'I'll just stay in the hotel for a while now.' She stood motionless at the door waiting for the bus.

'Could it be that I still can to go back to Walker's house?'

On this day, Dana returned to Silver beach. But then unexpectedly, Walker didn't come back today. Erica said that he seemed to be on a business trip to the next city temporarily.

Dana didn't care. When she returned to the room, she planned to wash and sleep. Tomorrow is her internship again. She has to go to bed quickly so that she won't be late for work.

The next day, in the high-rise building of Situation.

It is rare for Dana to arrive early, just like what she did today. She sighed after she signed the card. It turned out that Situation is indeed a big company that loves to make their employee work overtime. However, this is not because Walker exploits over time, but because a company with such a large share of the economy must not be able to take a full weekend off.

Just like the President's Office on weekends, they are all performing their duties. Dana went to the elevator directly to the President's Office located on the top floor. As soon as she got out of the elevator, she saw Assistant Boyle sitting in the receiving area with a leathered suit at the door of the office.

"Good morning, Assistant Boyle."

"Good Morning, Dana. You're early today."

Assistant Boyle seemed a bit busy. Suddenly, he remembered something. "By the way, Dana."

"Yes, Assistant Boyle?"

"The president said that when you arrive, go to his office first."

"What?"

The girl was stunned for a second. "Didn't Boss Herbert go on a business trip?"

"He came back this morning." Assistant Boyle said. "Go straight in, he must be waiting for you."

Dana hesitated for a moment. What surprised her the most is that he'll be back sooner that=n what she anticipated. She knocked on the door and went in

Inside the office, Walker was in a suit, making him more look desirable. He was pouring and was as tall as a tree, he glanced at Dana and his eyebrows immediately arched. Noticing her arrival, there was a slight irony in his tone.

"You're early today"

Dana Roosevelt smiled brightly and beautiful,

"Because no one interrupted my night yesterday, so I slept well!"

'Hmph, I will be late because he keeps on tossing me! Now I blame him.' Suddenly, she thought of a little trick and decided to play by being oblivious and not remembering what happened last night.

"Heh." The man sneered. "Come here."

Dana gawked at him as her aura suddenly weakened a lot. "Why?" Aghast, she didn't want to move from where she was standing.

She never knows what he will do to her, especially now that they are alone in his office.

"I call you over, didn't I?"

Dana pursed her lips. She couldn't stand him being so fierce so she heeded on her request and passed by obediently.

"Sit." The man said, pointing to a place to her.

Dana frowned. Following the man's instructions, the girl couldn't help but stare. Looking at the small desk next to President Walker's desk, there was a chair next to it with several economics books on it. Looking at different materials, she was stunned.

"What's this?"

"Read it."

"What?" She wondered at her unusual request and questioningly looked at him. 'Didn't I come for an internship? Why does he want me to read a book here?'

"Teacher, didn't I come to work?" As he asked that, Dana looked serious and innocent. Amazed with her reaction, Walker looked at her intensely and just said lightly.

"What can you do?"

Dana was speechless. 'Is this man despise me?'

"But I'm here for an internship," Dana frowned. "I can't learn what many people know, especially everything from the beginning."

The girl's plausible words are not worth mentioning in the eyes of the man in front of her.

"Really?" Walker Herbert said indifferently and threw a pile of reports to her.

"Then tell me, do you understand these terms?"

Dana was rendered silent. She became dizzy as soon as he read parts of what was handed to her. She took it and said nothing again. With a serious expression, she sat on the small table and read a book. Walker saw her like that and a small smile appeared on his taut lips. He turned around and returned to his seat.

However, within ten minutes. Dana's attention began to shift,

"Teacher."

Walker ignored her.

"Teacher!"

She simply put down the book and tried to get his attention. "I have one thing to tell you!"

"Say it."

"My bed is occupied when I got back to the dorm! So, I went to your house again last night. But I can move out tonight."

Dana thought for a while and thought that it's better to tell Walker. After all, that is his home, and knew that she just barged into his home without notice. Guilty, she looked at him and waited for his reaction. Since she vehemently stated that she will move out but went back last night, there is no reason for her not to say it to Walker.

"I know." The man's handsome face looked directly at his computer screen and didn't even give her a look.

"How did you know?" Dana was a little embarrassed at the moment and smiled dryly.

"I just tell you but you already know it." After Dana finished speaking, she concentrated on reading the book again. She didn't notice that the man sitting behind her was getting nearer and nearer.

What happened in the dormitory was all because of him. Walter deliberately arranged not to let her live back in her previous dormitory. But now, she audaciously said that she would rather stay in a hotel than stay with him. Undeniably he was vexed.

'What's wrong with me. Why does she avoid me like a snake?' Dana's attention was transfixed on the book. She wasn't aware that Walker approached behind her.

She racked her brains at the bunch of difficult and incomprehensible texts, completely engrossed in how to decipher them. Suddenly, she felt a warm body hovered behind her. Knowing who it is, she frowned and looked up.

"What?" She called out with a furrowed brow.

"Teacher, why are you suddenly moving to--."

The moment Dana's lips were sealed, her mind went blank. She was frightened that someone would arrive and they would be seen in an intimate position. This is Walker's office after all. The secretary outside the door can push in at any time.

"Walker! Mr. Herbert, stop!"

Not minding what she said, Walker dominantly caged her under him. Dana was almost completely locked between the chair and the table by him, unable to move at all.

"Dana Roosevelt."

This time, Walker was immensely angry at her refusal. He felt extremely annoyed when he thought how she was adamantly trying to divide the boundaries with him repeatedly.

"Do you think I was joking when I said I was your boyfriend, huh?"

"What?!" Dana's eyes widened suddenly. "You are not serious, right?!"

Walker looked at her face which turned pale in an instant and his mood got even worse. As he forcefully grabbed her chin, his tone became sonorous.

"Say that again!"

Dana shivered under her commanding eyes. "Teacher, are you serious?"

"What boyfriend! When did you become my boyfriend?! No, wait! Can a teacher and student fall in love with each other?" When Dana Roosevelt said that, Walter became even more furious. His big palm directly lifted her from the chair, making her exclaimed. Stupefied, she was forced to sit at the table behind him.

"Do you think I'm not serious?"

Dana panicked, looking at him wide-eyed. "Teacher, what are you doing? This is your office! Don't be so aggressive, okay?" She was almost crying.

'Who can tell me what this man means?'

"Alright." Walker froze, displeased at what she uttered. Abruptly, her whole body was flipped over, completely making her unable to refuse. She helplessly clasped her hands to the table as her support while her back was against Walker, giving him full access to her almost bare body.

"I'll let you see what is serious!"

"What--."

Since she has to go to work today, Dana wore a small dress that was not suitable for her usual style. It was a black dress that gives off the vibe of professionalism, making her look a bit cold and ascetic. However, it was precise because of this dress that made Walker insatiable for her. It perfectly matched her innocent and youthful face, a deadly combination and a fatal temptation for men.
