Chapter 48: Chapter 48

Chapter 48 Murder

The man looked at her snow-white body and swallowed hard.

"Go out, do you hear me?"

Dana was ashamed and angry. Walker came in, walked towards her, leaned over, and fished her out of the water.

"What are you doing? What are you doing!"

Dana struggled, her naked body was still dripping.

Walker hugged her and captured her restless hand.

"Don't you know that the water became cold already?"

"Why did you come in?"

Dana had never been seen by a man since she was a child.

He threw her on the bed.

"What are you doing. Ah!"

Dana felt a heavy body on top of her and it was accompanied by a man's hot lips.

Walker's suit was drenched by the water on her body and the man's voice tightened. He began to unbutton his shirt.

"Dana."

"Mr. Herbert, let me go, you let me go."

"Let's repeat what we did that night, huh?"

Dana had long sensed that the man seemed to treat himself differently.

But she was still very scared.

"Mr. Herbert. Well, that night was just an accident."

"It wasn't an accident."

Walker's deep voice surrounded her. Dana didn't know what she heard and immediately felt pain!

"Ah!"

The girl screamed out, she didn't seem to think he would really do this, tears fell from her eyes.

"Let me go! Walker, let me go!"

"Dana."

It hurts!

Why did it hurt so much?

They did that already, right?

The girl sobbed, punched, and kicked at the same time.

Although she was kicking and punching him, the man was not willing to give up.

Dana took advantage of this moment to retreat immediately.

When she was retreating, she didn't know what she touched.

But she no longer cared, she got what her hand touched and hit Walker on the head.

At Roosevelt House.

The Roosevelt family had a high-ranking government position. Dawn's salary may not be very high but Ann was the daughter of a famous banker, so the whole Roosevelt family was magnificent and rich.

However, that day at the Roosevelt House, the atmosphere was not so wonderful.

At the study, a middle-aged man was sitting at the big wooden table in the stylish study.

Dawn sat and Zoe stood opposite him, not daring to move.

It had been two hours since Zoe was called here.

Everyone in the whole Roosevelt House was scared.

Even Ann, who was standing at the door of the study, felt helpless as she paced repeatedly.

"How long has the eldest lady been in?" Ann frowned and asked a servant.

"It's been two hours."

"What, two hours?"

Ann suddenly became more anxious, she clasped her hands and walking back and forth.

Inside, Dawn locked his eyes with hers. His hands were on the table and his eyes were close to scrutiny.

"Are you not going to say it?"

"What do you want me to say, Dad?"

Zoe was so anxious that she was about to cry. Dawn's face sank and he threw his phone on the table with a bang.

"Who did you see at the party in the back garden?"

"No one!" Zoe said tearfully. "I just went out to get some air for ten minutes. Who will I see there?"

"Then why haven't two of our bodyguards come back yet?"

Suddenly a lamp was thrown to the ground angrily.

There was a violent shattering sound, and the door opened.

Ann rushed in and grabbed her daughter's hand.

"Dawn, what do you want?"

The middle-aged man's sharp eyes suddenly fell on Ann's face.

He was silent and unfathomable.

He stared at her coldly!

"When did I let you in?"

Ann took her daughter's hand without flinching. "What's the matter with you? Zoe has been simple-minded since she was a child. What on earth are you doing?"

She hated them!

Over the years, just because the cheap mother and daughter offered to leave, he kept thinking about them!

Now that the bitch was dead, he was still thinking about his illegitimate daughter who was living outside the family mansion.

Dawn sneered, "Simple?" He glanced at Zoe and then looked at Ann's eyes.

"It's true that the child's mind is simple but I don't know about her mother."

"What do you mean?"

"Mom and Dad."

As soon as Zoe saw that the situation was getting worse, she quickly began to persuade him to make peace.

But to no avail, Ann struggled forward and asked sharply.

"Zoe is your daughter, your only daughter!"

"Don't forget who you were before you became mayor!"

Dana's vase hit Walker directly in the back of the head.

The man obviously didn't expect her to do that!

The girl was stunned at the moment, his sticky blood dripped down.

She looked at him in a daze.

Oh, my God!

"Teacher." Dana looked at him in horror. "Are you all right?"

The man looked like he was in great pain, his forehead was bleeding and his eyes were frighteningly cold.

"You can't die."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!"

Dana was scared! He won't throw her to the police station, would he?

"Are you dizzy with blood?"

Dana shook her head. "No, I'm not dizzy."

"There is a medicine box on the nightstand. Bring it to me."

"Okay."

As soon as Dana got up and was ready to get the medical kit, she realized that her whole body was naked but because of the situation, she tried to forget it.

"Teacher, just a moment, please."

Dana said while she was seriously looking for medicine.

However, not far away, she heard a dull sound behind her!

Dana looked at it and immediately turned pale with fear!

"Teacher!"

"Teacher, Mr. Herbert! Wake up. "

At the hospital.

Dana took him to the hospital. It was already midnight.

That time she really panicked.

Walker fainted and she was really afraid of what would happen to him.

In the hallway,

Dana just sat there while the man was still in surgery. After she went through so much in just one night, she was no longer sleepy.

The corridor was quiet in the middle of the night until her phone vibrated. Dana was frightened all over.

"Hello?"

The girl picked it up without even looking at it.

As soon as she answered, she heard the last voice she wanted to hear, "Dana, where are you?"

Dana suddenly froze. Her first reaction was to hang up the phone.

"Dana, wait a minute."

Dawn sounded anxious as if he was really worried that she would hang up the phone.

"I won't bother you."

"I just want to know, are you at school now?"

"No."

Dana did not want to be perfunctory but the person on the other side was suddenly eager.

"So where are you now?"

"What's that got to do with you?"

"Dana!" Dawn snapped, "I'm worried about your safety!"

Dana was silent.

In fact, it's not that she can't guess who was responsible for what happened. She just didn't want to guess.

"Is that important?"

Dana leaned back with her phone and said, "I don't want to talk about it. I'm tired."

"Dana!"

The answer to Dawn Roosevelt was a cold busy tone.

Dana hung up her phone and began to lean over, she slowly clasped her head with her hands.

Worried about her safety?

Another half an hour later, the surgical door opened.

Dana cheered up and walked over.

"Doctor, is my teacher all right?"

The doctor glanced at Dana with a look of disgust in his eyes.

It would certainly be no good for a teacher and students to stay together so late.

However, in today's society, this kind of phenomenon was also very common, so he asked,

"Who hit your teacher on the head so hard?"

Dana was speechless for a moment.

"He was hit by a flowerpot that accidentally fell downstairs. "

The doctor rolled his eyes at her. "I'm a doctor, don't you think I can tell?"

"We will contact the police regarding this matter, this degree of injury can already constitute intentional murder!"

What?
