Chapter 192: Chapter 192
Chapter 193
She deliberately showed it to Harper?
"I."
"You?" The man smiled.
"I."
The girl's face was red now.
Dana was very embarrassed after her thoughts were discovered.
Damn, he discovered it
Dana felt so embarrassed, but she couldn't admit it to him.
She could only be angry in the end. She stretched her tiny arm.
"What are you talking about? Can you not see what you made yourself?"
"You haven't said what happened this morning and said sorry for whatever you did yet. Did you get involved with Harper, so you can't show her the hickeys you made?"
She was unreasonable, and she must admire herself.
The man looked at her, deliberately making a pose, and his eyes narrowed, revealing a dangerous aura.
"Dana, have you not been taught enough just now? Are you not tired enough?"
Dana was speechless.
The girl pursed her mouth and quickly silent. She had learned about Walker's physical strength, so she didn't want to provoke him.
Dana began to get used to the child in her womb.
It was always like this when someone fell in love.
She would occasionally reflect on this time a few years later. She was no longer as young as she was at the time, but she still felt she couldn't go back to the beginning of this short year or two. This would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
And only at this age, and this state of mind, could she have the illusion
At this time, she only knew that she loved this man dearly. She was satisfied to be with him every minute and every second.
He loved her too. Walker would sometimes seem a little indifferent and silent, but it was not his fault. In terms of being considerate, she knew that he was even more meticulous than many men out there.
As long as she wanted him to do something, he would do it.
He would even do some things she didn't expect him to do. He would do so beyond her expectations.
He never let her feel the insecurities of being left out or given up.
She had a sense of security.
This was what an illegitimate daughter who had lacked the love of her father and mother since she was a child needed.
She didn't want much, but he gave more. So, their time together was incredibly harmonious.
The only disagreement they had was that he taught her like an elder on occasion, which she would not refute under normal circumstances.
It was because most of the time, he was right.
It was all for her good.
Dana was a normal and innocent girl, but Walker was mature like an old husband.
Dana sat on the balcony and looked at the flowers for a long time.
He never said what he liked about her. She also didn't want to recall the words Harper said to her masochistically. Dana did not want to feel that she was not worthy of him.
The crazy and out-of-control behavior he would exhibit when they were close made her feel so profoundly that he was in love with her.
At other times, she didn't know what he liked about her.
The summer vacation is slowly entering the middle. That is when the weather is the hottest.
One day during this period, Dawn called her.
"Hey."
Dana was not aggressive this time as she spoke. She was calm.
"Yes."
"I heard that you are about to have a wedding with Walker?"
The girl was silent for two seconds while she held her phone.
Then, she answered, "Hmm."
"I'm afraid that I can't go to your wedding, but I will ask someone to give you my gift. I wish you happiness."
As she listened to his tone, Dana frowned unconsciously.
"There's no need for you to give a gift. Thank you."
"Dana."
"My recent health problems are probably due to the bad things I did before. I hope to see you happy while I'm still alive. I can rest assured if you marry someone. I know that I owe you a lot."
Dana bit her lips, and tears rolled out of her eyes.
She waited for many years.
After many years, she finally heard him admit that he had done something wrong.
Dana gritted her teeth. "Why are you saying this all of a sudden? Are they not looking after you over there?"
"Don't worry." Dawn shook his head. His voice on the phone was kind as he asked, "How is he treating you?"
Dana did not hesitate, " He is very nice to me."
This answer came from her heart, and she was full of confidence.
"Dana, you have to be nice to yourself and treat yourself better."
Treat yourself better?
Dana felt that Dawn seemed strange that day. Was it because his health was getting worse and worse recently?
Even if she despised him then, the automatic concerns because of their blood relationship couldn't be hidden.
"Are you going to your routine check-ups over there? What did the doctor say?"
"It's nothing."
Dana didn't know what to do.
She seemed unable to be cold and indifferent.
After she hung up the phone, she stayed alone in the room for a long time before she turned to the study room where Walker was.
The man's voice was as deep and nice as ever, "Go in."
Dana pushed the door in and saw the man who was working in the study. When he saw her come in, he stopped tapping his fingers on the keyboard.
"What's up?"
Dana frowned, "I'm okay. Can't I go here?"
He pursed his lips. "Well, you can."
Dana walked over and sat down on the sofa at his desk. She rested her elbows on the armrest of the couch and stared at him for a moment.
She didn't speak, and she looked a little depressed.
Walker looked at her for two seconds, and then he stretched out his hand towards her.
"Come here."
Dana blinked, "What are you going to do?"
The girl had walked over. The man's fingers then held her wrist.
He pulled Dana over and then took her into his arms. Dana sat on his lap, and the girl hugged him.
"What did your dad tell you? Why are you so depressed?"
The girl leaned her head on his shoulder and smelled the unique masculine scent of him.
Dana's straight black hair fell on his clean shirt. She looked beautiful and pure.
Walker's voice was calm as he spoke, "Did he scold you?"
Dana didn't answer his question. She only hugged him.
The man frowned because of her current state. He raised her chin and forced her to look at him.
"Speak."
"No, he called and asked if I was about to have a wedding, and he wanted to give me a gift."
"Well, then?"
Dana looked up at him, "Then he said he hopes I am happy, and he wants to watch me marry happily."
The man was not surprised, "Well, what are you sad about then?"
Dana replied, " He said he realizes he owes me the most, but I don't want him to apologize or admit his mistake. His words do not negate what he owes me."
She leaned on his shoulder so that he couldn't see her face now.
She heard him say calmly, "But you still feel uncomfortable, bitter, and you don't know what to do, don't you?"
Dana felt her head hurt more and more.
"I don't know what to do. I think he's a bit weird lately. Maybe it's not in good health."
The man reached out and pinched her face calmly and freely.
"Since he is getting older, of course, there will be some minor problems in his body."
Dana raised her head and looked at him nervously, "Is it just a small problem?"
The man lowered his eyes and looked at the woman in his arms.
"Yes. Your father's body is taken care of by a special medical team of the army. Although the prison is no better than others, he is also a far-reaching figure in the political arena anyway."
"Okay."
Dana had always believed what he said.
As he held her in his arms like this, there were a lot less imaginative thing in her mind just now.
In the silence of the study, Dana leaned in the arms of the man. She suddenly thought of something and said, "He also asked me if you treated me well."
The man's face did not change color. He slowly inserted his fingers into her long fluffy, soft hair, the different colors intertwined to create a distinct sense of ambiguity.
"What did you say?"
"I said you were kind to me, except-"
"Except what?"
"Except that occasionally, you also bully me."
"Bully?" Walker felt surprised when he heard this word, "Am I bullying you?"
"Yes, you are."
The man squeezed her chin with a smile. Walker stared at her rosy lips, unable to look away.
"How did I bully you?"
"You know how."
No matter how Walker bullied her, it was the same thing and the same way - on the bed.
"You pressed me, clasped my hand, and ravaged me-"
She told him that he ravaged her.
There was a tragic fire in the dark pupils of the man, and he looked at her quietly. He then smiled.
"Is that bullying? It's me, loving you."
"You don't say you love me so much every time, don't you?"
Dana broke down and said, "What are you talking about?"
"Are you ashamed?" The man laughed, "Why don't I record it for you next time?"
