Chapter 24

She ran towards the operation theatre

with Krisha and Ahaan following her behind...

"Da..da what hap..pen to him? Whe..re is he?" She stuttered badly asking Devit about Avyaan..

"Dad why are you standing like this say na? What happen? Mera Avyaan kahan hai?" She asked loosening her calm as tears threatened to fall from her eyes..

"He..He is in oper..ation thea..tre" His voice broke as he replied.. "How's all this happen? Tell me" She demanded..

"Shravya Avyaan met with an accident today he went to the construction side and there one lady worker was in danger .. He saved her but three bricks and huge iron panel fell on his head" She gasped hearing Anishka and tears spill out rolling down from her cheeks to her jaw..

"Dad did you send Avyaan?" She asked Devit and he looked up at her.. "Tell me dad did you send him because as far as I know Avyaan wasn't handling the construction?"

"I don't know what problem you have with Avyaan that you always behave rudely with him but if something happens to him then I might do something bad" She literally threatened him and took a deep breath..

"Shravya I didn't send him there it was his choice he wanted to go there I know I behaved rudely with him but that doesn't mean that I don't care about Shravya he is mine son" Devit said as he was also hell tensed about Avyaan..

Shaking her head "Karan bhai (Bro) was handling the construction then how come Avyaan went there" She was getting hell angry on them and tensed for Avyaan..

"Shravya don't drag me in it I know I was handling the construction work but Avyaan wanted to go there we tried to stop him also but still he went there" Karan said and she was about to answer him back just then Ahaan placed hand on her shoulder and she turned towards him..

"Smally calm down okay everything will be alright" He said softly cupping her cheeks..

"Stop freaking out Shravya Sab thik hoga" Krisha said and she nodded wiping her tears and took a deep breath..

'calm down Shravya calm down' she started ranting in her mind and sat on the chair while Krisha and Ahaan sat on the either sides of her..

"Ahaan where is Avyaan? What happen to him?" It was Bhavika.. "Mom bhai (Bro) is inside the ot the operation is going on please calm down" Ahaan said softly to her..

Shravya was silent now praying to her Ayyiappa in her mind for his well being..

She got up and walk towards Devit and bent on her knees holding Devit's hand.. "Dad I am sorry I shouldn't be shout at you like that I --" he cut her off "It's ok Shravya I know you are tensed for Avyaan that's why you said like that" he replied... "I know I am always strict towards him but let me tell you I didn't send him there" he further added and a drop of tear rolled down from his cheek..

"You don't need to explain yourself dad I am sorry" she said just then they heard the click sound as the doctor came out of the OT..

Shravya got up and ran towards the doctor asking about his health.. "We need O negative blood as soon as possible and it's not available in our hospital" Doctor said..

Ahaan's face fell because his blood group matches with Bhavika while Avyaan and Karan's blood group were same it matches with Devit..And for some reason he thought Karan wouldn't going to give him blood..

"Doctor I have O negative blood" Karan said.. "He is my brother I am ready to give him blood" it nearly shocked few peoples there..

"Come with me first we need do your test" He nodded and walked with the nurse and after few tests it was finalized he could give blood to Avyaan..

"Mom stop crying okay? Our Avyaan is strong he will be fine" Shravya saud wiping Bhavika's tears..

And finally after 3 hours the operation was done.. "Doctor how's he? Is he fine now?" Karan asked the doctor.. "Well congratulations operation is successful he is a fighter" and this brought smile in everyone's face..

"Can we meet him?" Shravya asked impatiently.. "you can but first let him gain his consciousness" and doctor left..

"Krisha you came back from hectic flight so go home and rest I am fine here" Shravya said to her bestfriend.. "I am not going anywhere okay? I am here with you" Krisha said stubbornly..

"Krisha I am fine now and I can handle myself please go to your home now you can come here later" Shravya said trying to make her understand.."Yes Krisha you should take rest baccha we all are here with your bestfriend" Bhavika said to her and she agreed half heartedly..

"Take care of yourself okay and I love my sassy Shravya not a cry baby" Krisha said hugging her.."Let him gain his consciousness then I will become sassy Shravya again" Shravya answered smiling a little..

Shrav's pov..

It's been 2 hours he hadn't gain his consciousness doctor said it would take time because his injuries were severe.. I called mom and dad and tell them about Avyaan as they were out of station.. Ayyiappa please make him alright please...

"Now you all can meet him he has gain his consciousness" The nurse informed us I was the first one to jumped on my feet and ran inside the private ward..

My eyes started to get teary again as I saw him sitting on the bed leaning back he was lost in his thought the iv drips were attached to his hand he didn't even feel my presence.."Avyaan finally you are okay!! You scared us to death" I couldn't stop myself from hugging him.. His arms were my peace my Home..

"Wait how are you?" The fuck what the hell did he just say? I abruptly broke the hug and stared at his face which was full of confusion.. "Avyaan what are you saying?" I was way too shocked..

"Who are you? Miss" and he asked again was this guy trying to lighten up my mood because he knew I was crying? But it wasn't working I was getting scared by his prank..

"Avyaan what are you saying she is--" Mom tried to say but doctor but her off.. "What's today's date? Do you know how you landed yourself in the hospital?" Doctor asked him..

"It's 23 April 2019 I came back to India after completing my studies and I met with an accident my car hit with the tree" Shocked would be an understatement for me I felt someone snatched the ground underneath me.. It's march 2021 and he was in 2019 what the hell?

"Avyaan what are you saying I am your wife dammit" I couldn't stop myself from shouting "And it's 2021 and not 2019"

"What??" He was shocked.. I was about to say something when doctor said "It's not good for his health let him rest you all come with me"

"Mom what is she saying?"Avyaan asked mom.. "Avyaan you rest we'll talk later"mom said and they injected him something and he drifted into slumber and we all went to doctors cabin..

"Well Avyaan Devit Sehgal has lost his memory partially and it's also known as Retrograde Amnesia he forget everything which has happened in these two years all th memories has vanished he is now the 23 year old Avyaan now who came back to india after completing his studies" I was shocked more than anyone there.. He forgot us? He forgot our memories!!
