Chapter 31: Chapter 31

Allan's Point of View

"Did you find something?" I asked my beta. I received a shaking of the head as a response. Fuck! We only have one clue, and that's the name of the scumbags who hurt my mate. We don't know where they were or what pack they belong to, but seeing my mate, I doubt that she's in a pack.

"You can leave. Brent. Thanks," I told him. I ruffled my hair and let out a sigh. I badly want to rip his head their heads. I got up and went into the room connected to my office, where I transferred my mate. I approached her and saw she was sound asleep. I caressed her face.

"I don't even know your name, my little mate. It hurts to see you like this," I said. I took a pillow from the cabinet and lay down on the couch. I usually sleep when I go here because I do not want her to be surprised when she finds out I'm lying next to her. I stared at the ceiling then slowly closed my eyes.

"AAAHHH!" I woke up when I heard her scream. It always happened when she's fast asleep. She's having a nightmare. Even though my back hurt because of the fall I sustained, I immediately attended to her side.

"Lilac, Brent, to my mate's room. Now!" I commanded them through the link while trying to hold my mate down.

"D-Don't kill me. P-Please stop! It hurts!" she said while crying her heart out. I hugged her tightly.

"I'm here, sweetie. No one will hurt you anymore," I whispered to her.

"Alpha, what happened?" Brent asked. I looked at them and saw Anya behind Lilac. I immediately turned my gaze back to my mate, who was still sobbing loudly.

"She had a nightmare. She probably dreamed of the pain that he got from being tortured," I said. I couldn't help but clenched my hand.

"What can we do to help, Alpha?" Lilac asked.

"I want you to bring water and food, Lilac. Thank you," I told her. Suddenly my mate pulled my shirt.

"S-Save him. P-please save him," my beautiful mate while she kept tugging. "H-He helped me get away. S-save, Marcus Kingsley," she said before fainting in my arms.

"What did she say?" Anya asked slowly and approached us.

"She said to save Marcus Kingsley," I repeated what my mate said earlier. She grabbed the table with Brent supporting her. She suddenly looked pale.

"Anya, are you okay?" I asked her worriedly.

"The name she said earlier," Anya said and looked at me. "I know...I know who he is. Marcus Kingsley is my mate," she said and let out a sob. I was a bit taken aback, but I never pried nor asked her questions when I found her in the forest.

"Don't cry, Anya," Brent told her.

"Alpha Allan, please save my mate," she said and grabbed my hands. "I'm begging you. Save him," she added and knelt on the ground. I immediately helped her get up.

"You don't have to do that, Anya. I will save your mate because of him my mate escaped from those who hurt her," I said. "I will do everything I can. I have a plan in mind, and I'm going to need your help, Anya. I was hoping you could help me because you know where Marcus is. We will save him, and I will make Damien and Zakir pay for what they did," I told her while she nodded her head in response.

I glanced at Brent, and he helps Anya out of the room with Lilac. I sent her off because she needs rest. Her condition requires her to do so. I will see the two of you soon, and when that happens, I will tear you apart, limb by limb. I kissed my mate's forehead and entered the office.

"Brent, can you go to my office?" I asked through the mind link. Brent came in and sat in the chair opposite me.

"What is it, Alpha?" he asked.

"I want you to gather the pack warriors. All of them. They will all come with us tomorrow; we will attack Damien's hideout," I told him seriously.

"Understood, Alpha," he said and bowed, then left my office.

Brent's Point of View

"All pack warriors go to the training area. I have an announcement coming from the Alpha," I said through the mind link. I left the packhouse and went immediately to the training area. I immediately saw our pack warriors and walked to the front.

"We will attack our opponent's hideout tomorrow," I told them frankly. I saw them whispering. "You can leave the cowards here," I told them. They raised their hands for questions, and I chose the man in the blue shirt named Kairo.

"Can we know what our enemies had done to us?" he asked. It is not the habit of our pack to attack for no reason knowing Allan's character. Whenever possible, we talk to each other to resolve the issue. But now, this time, because there's no use in talking to a bunch of savage rogues. If they want to fight us, we'll make sure they'll regret it.

"Alpha found the Luna, and we believed that she's been through a lot of torture," I told them. "They mess with our Luna!" I yelled. They all looked at each other.

"Then we will join this battle. We will avenge our Luna!" Anderson shouted. The other pack warriors are also yelling.

"For the Luna!" I shouted and raised my right hand.

"For the Luna!"

You chose the wrong opponent, rogues.
