Chapter 90: Chapter 90

"Guys relax!" Sid intervened as my stare deepened through Dina's eyes, I wanted to grasp her and shook her body to wake her up from Steven's hypnotism.

"I fear we might have a problem," Sid mumbled and sighed, scratching the back of his neck.

"What problem?" Dina and I said in unison.

"Now that Tucker's sister is gone, kidnapped or wherever she is, do you think he will agree to this stay over? Wouldn't they be worrying about Ivory?" He made absolute sense, we all shared glances and then saw Steven coming our way and I felt my blood boiling through my veins.

"Where is she, Steven?" I inquired, rushing at him, but Dina jumped between us quickly.

"I get it that you can't trust anyone, and it makes sense, but do you even believe me? If you do, then I am telling you that he did nothing wrong, he did it all to ---," Steven hurriedly put his hand on her mouth and silenced her, right in front of us.

"Now that's suspicious." Thankfully, Sid stated and shook his head.

"She ran away," Steven finally gave up, "She was pregnant and---," he hadn't finished that a loud gasp left my lips. "No! It wasn't me, it was someone from our group, she merely asked me to help her get out of this town." He mumbled confidently, not stealing his eyes from me.

"And then she kissed you? Was that a goodbye kiss?" I frowned, even more, he was lying on our faces and we were supposed to believe him?

"Tucker was coming our way and that was the only thing that appeared to her," he stated and sighed, finally making brief eye contact with me. Even though it had started to make sense because I did hear Tucker entering her room, but I was still not fully satisfied.

"Tucker met me a few minutes after Dina left," he added about his arrival to us, "he looked extremely calm, he said he was excited to meet us on Sunday." there was suspicion in Steven's eyes, of course, we were all confused now.

I stole my eyes from Steven because even if all this was true, he hid it all from me when I asked him before helping Tucker.

"So the plan is on," I stated and sighed.

"It sounds more like a trap than a plan," Sid added, Steven bit his lower lip as if he wanted to utter some words.

"Am I still not invited?" he whispered in his mouth and eyed Dina to defend him.

"Nope, you are not. We can't take someone along who keeps secrets from us." I declared and everyone groaned, why were they not getting my point?

"I understand you are mad at him, but do you think it is wise to do this at this time? The more boys we have in that house with us, the better it is." Dina was being annoying now, what has he told her that she has changed her side so quickly? And why can't they tell me?

"I have made my decision, he can sit outside and wait for our signal if we need help," I said and despite Sid and Dina not agreeing with me, Steven agreed.

"That's good," he nodded quickly, he still wanted to help in any way, but that doesn't mean I was less upset.

We discussed for a little while and then head back home.

"Are you sure you can do this?" I reassured Bailey in case she was having cold feet.

"Yeah, it's time that she pays for her wickedness." she was as mad as I was. She had played with both of us, she didn't even care about her own daughter, which was weird for a controlling mother like her to do such a thing.

So basically our plan was to corner her with Bailey telling the truth about her and then asking Tucker to do a blood test, we wanted to prove him that she has been drugging him which Ivory told Steven. Honestly speaking, I wanted her to react, I knew once she sees us catching her, she would react or do something stupid and then Tucker will finally see how wicked his mother is.

"But there is one question," Bailey dragged me back from my imagination and questioned.

"What is that?" I inquired, watching her face.

"Are you sure we can trust Tucker?" the way she said it, I felt goosebumps because I wasn't sure, but there was something in my heart that told me that Tucker will never betray me this time.

"We have to trust each other, but once we are in that house, we are not allowed to trust anyone else," I announced and she nodded. I was getting impatient and scared at the same time and before going to the bed, I checked my phone and saw texts from Tucker responding to my concern regarding his sister.

Tucker: Thanks for the concern G!

Tucker: I was mad raging in the beginning, but then mother told me that Ivory has left a note and that she left with her own will and that she is not in danger.

Okay, but still it was weird for Lauren to be so calm.

Me: Is Lauren okay?

Tucker: She is upset but relieved that Ivory is not kidnapped or something, you know how optimist she is.

I rolled my eyes hard like I don't know what a wicked lady she is.

Me: Yeah, she is.

Tucker: By the way,

Me: yes?

Tucker: Stars look so good from under your building.

I smiled and jumped up on my bed, sitting in shock.

Me: Are you at my place?

I impatiently ran towards the window and looking down made me see a glimpse of him.

Me: Tucker why? It is so cold, why are you here?

I frowned but I bet he can't see me from this height.

Tucker: I just didn't get to see your face today so thought...

He left me an incomplete message and waved his hand in my direction. Ignoring the first thought about what Steven will think, I wore my coat and decided to go down and meet Tucker.
