**AUTHOR’S POV**
“Aidennnnnnnn” shouted calista, holding her stomach.
Aiden was unable to move an inch from his place . His whole focus was on that bastard, who is now shivering regretfully. This shot was not for her, but the way she came in front of Aiden, he realized their true love.
His gun fell down from his hand and he stood shocked. The woman he claims to like is now lying on the floor in her blood.
Quickly taking the gun from the floor, Aiden looked towards him and shot him dead on his head between his eyes. He knelt down and placed her head on his lap, a lone tear escape his cheek, but he wiped it away.
He was looking at her with cold and dark eyes. Furthermore, he was not in his senses. Suddenly, he was shooked by the shoulder, looking up he found hos two friends Leo and Trevor looking at him with sadness.
He felt a sudden moment in his lap and found calista taking high breaths. He instantly took her in his arms bridal style and moved out of the building to the cars and shouted, “GET THE CAR”…
Sitting inside the car he looked at Leo and Trevor “BURN DOWN THE WHOLE BUILDING” HE shouted with red eyes which is showing his anger towards the building.
He placed her head on his lap and stoked her belly softly" daddy loves you babies” placing a soft kiss on her forehead, a tear escaped his eye.
Keeping her against his stomach he was silently shedding his pool of tears, letting out his frustration, his pain, he was unable to save his love. He was a failure.
Reaching the hospital he shouted for the doctors" DOCTOR, DOCTOR WHERE THE FUCk ARE YOU, MY WIFE IS IN DANGER”
Everyone knows the mafia king, so they quickly called her doctor and she took her to OT When a nurse came and asked him to sign the paper.
“IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO MY WIFE, I WILL BURN THIS WHOLE HOSPITAL ALONG WITH YOU ALL, DAMN IT”
The nurse ran away, saving her life, when Trevor went after her and did the formalities.
Waiting for what felt like forever, the OT light went red and the doctor came out…
Aiden : What happened, doctor? How is my wife?
Doctor : I am sorry, but she has lost a lot of blood, so she went to, coma but sometimes later she will come back to her senses because right now, she is not in her senses and this is dangerous for her and babies. So, I suggest do something and bring her out of this state.
Aiden without asking anything else went inside the room and looked at the most heart-wrenching scene of his life.
He never thought he will see her like this someday. Where she will fight alone for herself and their babies. She is looking so pale and weak.
This is all his fault, if only he was not after revenge and had loved her, the way she deserves. She is just a delicate princess who got ruined in his cruel world. But now he will take care of her like his real queen.
He sat beside her on the stool and held her hand very softly, as if he would tighten his hold, and she will break down.
Placing a kiss on her knuckles he shed his tears, his other hand went towards her stomach, which is the nourishing home for their babies.
“Ple… Please wake up, my love. I know I don't deserve you, but I am a selfish bastard who needs you to live his life. You are my oxygen which i breath to take the next step in my life. Please wake up kitten, I will do as you say, I will not touch you again, just wake up. Please wake up for our children who require their mother. You need to take care of them. Please wake up, love… Ple… Please” Aiden let out a hard sob. It is astonishing how a cold mafia king is asking, not asking but begging for someone.
“You know I am not someone who believes in words. I believe in actions. From childhood, I never had the love which I crave for. My mother, she was a nice and sweet lady, but when I got a brother she took more care of him than me. Still, I was ok with it, but then someone raped my mother in front of me and took my brother. But after his, death aiden took over, and then he got the news of his friend death. He was again devastated, but he vowed to take revenge on all of them. His friend, mother, his father, his brother, and his boss. He became so cruel that people start fearing his name. After years, he found Leo and Trevor on the streets doing nothing but stealing. So, he took them under his care and trained them now they are the strongest mafia in the world. Then you came to my life like a fresh air. When I got a whiff, I was drawn to you like a moth is drawn to light. At first, you were only my obsession, I don't even know when that obsession changed into my unconditional love. But now I can’t live without you. Please come back to me kitten. “. Begged Aiden.
Saying so, he wiped his eyes and kept his head on her hand which he was holding. Exhausted by the events, sleep overtook his senses and in no time he was in a dark world.
