Chapter 32: Chapter 32

"That was close." Sanaya gasped for breath while resting her back at the door. She touched her cheeks, they were burning red. Not only she killed the wasp but also she left from there in a hurry. Well done! She told herself.

"..." Nick did not utter even a single word and just finished his dinner.

Only when Nick was gone Sanaya went downstairs to have dinner. After dinner when she was passing by his room she thought of seeing him before sleeping. "Is he still awake?" Surely she knew why Nick did not wait for her for dinner. Sanaya was about to knock at the door but she stopped her hand.

"If I knock he will know. And if he knows he will ask me then what will I tell him? That I am here to see him? No way. I can not say that." She decided to peek a little and then she would leave. She opened the door slightly and glimpsed inside the room. The far her eyes went she saw Nick was dozing on the bed.

"He is sleeping. Then it's ok to go inside... I will just see his face from closer and leave... " Sanaya slowly walked into the room and then she closed the door behind her. She walked on her tiptoes towards the bed so she would not wake him up.

Nick was sleeping, he did not have anything at the upper part of his body. Sitting next to him she put the blanket over him and looked at him. It was hard not to look at him, good-looking, sexy body, oh no! What she was thinking? But true to say, Sanaya remembered the time when he was scared of the wasp, she remembered how he kept holding the corner of her saree, she remembered how he was looking at her when they fell on the bed together and how he was lost in her that he forgot to get up off her.

She touched his face gently. She smiled, if not because of the wasp she could not know he had a child-like side too and it was cute. She found herself smiling while gazing at him.

"I don't know if you like my cooking or not but if you want to eat my cooking then I will cook for you every day, I can do anything to keep you happy Nick. I love..." She smooched on his forehead and left from there.

Knock! Knock!

It was still early in the morning when Mrs. Elisa knocked at Sanaya's door. Sanaya was still asleep, yesterday night she slept late. There was no meaning in waking up early in the morning especially when, if she would wake up early in the morning then she would start having headaches later.

Yesterday she managed to work but not again today. It was going to make her tired only.

Mrs. Elisa knocked again as Sanaya did not wake up. As she knocked again Sanaya crawled out of the bed while having her eyes closed. She believed that if you keep your eyes shut then even moving here and there you won't lose sleep in your eyes for the current moment.

Having her eyes closed Sanaya opened the door and leaned her head against the door. "Good morning, Sanaya" she heard Mrs. Elisa say so.

Sanaya murmured, "Morning......"

"Little Nick told you to cook breakfast for him." As soon as she heard Mrs. Elisa her eyes shot open. Glaring at her Sanaya said, "What?"

"Yes." Mrs. Elisa nodded her head. "What time is it now?" Sanaya asked her. "Ahh, it's six in the morning."

Sanaya was, yeah she was a bit angry but never mind. With a soft chuckle, she let out, "I see. Ok... I will cook."

It had been a week and every morning even sometimes dinner Sanaya had to cook for Nick. But it did not create any problems for her, she had been managing work and home well, she was not afraid.

As Nick had been asking her to make breakfast for him every morning Sanaya thought she would make breakfast for him today too. She woke up exactly at six in the morning even though she was sleepy but she woke up because she knew someone would be waiting for her to cook for him.

Strange! Today Mrs. Elisa did not come to knock at her door not did she called her to tell that Nick asked her to cook for him again. "Maybe she thought I will wake up on my own today? That's why she did not come to wake me up yet?" Thinking so Sanaya went to the kitchen. "Today, I am going to make something different for you." Smiling she glared at the fresh vegetables. She tugged the corner of her saree under her petticoat then she peered at the apron.

She was humming a song and busy in the kitchen. "Sanaya..." Mrs. Elisa strolled towards her. With a smile, Sanaya let out, "Good morning, Mrs. Elisa."

"Very good morning." She looked at the food on the plate. She saw Sanaya smile.

Mrs. Elisa grinned and asked, "What did you cook today?"

"It's smashed avocado toast with veggies," Sanaya countered. "I see. It seems tasty." Mrs. Elisa complimented her. When they were chatting Nick appeared there. As Sanaya saw him she took the plate to the breakfast table.

"Where is my breakfast?" Nick asked Mrs. Elisa in a serious tone. "This..." Sanaya was confused and surprised. She put the plate exactly for Nick in front of him but why he was still asking Mrs. Elisa? Did not he understand that it was his? Sanaya told him, "Nick, try this. I have made a new dish for..."

Without letting her finish he glanced at her coldly and said in his husky voice, "I asked where is my breakfast."

Sanaya gazed at Mrs. Elisa. She nervously answered him, "Don't you like it? I have cooked it for you. I don't know if it w..."

Nick cut her off as he asked Mrs. Elisa, "You did not tell her that today I don't need her to cook for me?"

'I don't need her to cook for me...' It hit Sanaya. She stepped back and looked at Mrs. Elisa who answered him hesitantly, "I thought you might like..."

"What I might? I have been eating breakfast made by her for a week now. I am bored of the same taste. Can't I want to try something new?" Nick seemed to hurt Sanaya. She did not know after getting up early, not caring about getting headaches later, cooking for him she would get to hear something like that from him.

"Sorry, I will go and make something else..." Sanaya turned to go to the kitchen when she heard Nick's cold tone coming from behind, "No need. I want Philip to cook for me."

That clear answer, Sanaya did not know where did she went wrong. And it was not true that she had been cooking the same dish every day but she tried to get different kinds of dishes for Nick every morning and this was what had been in his mind? Bored? Getting bored of her cooking? Sanaya was standing still.

She gazed at Mrs. Elisa who had her head lowered. "So that is why she did not wake me up this morning. Now I understood..." Sanaya thought.

Sanaya kept standing there, seeing Chef cook, observing how Nick was waiting for food to come, examining how Nick had been ignoring the dish she cooked for him. This was not supposed to be like this, he did not even try it once and he already commented...

The head chef, Philip not only cooked in a short time but also served them. Sanaya was standing still but hearing Nick she turned around. "He has served already. Why are you not sitting now? You want to be late again?"

Whatever there was but if she was angry then she was not going to just let it slide. He was wrong, how could he just keep playing with her? Enough was enough. It was no joke. Sanaya sat exactly at the opposite of him but she did not even touch the food cooked by Philip but she took a bite on the dish she cooked for him.

Nick glared at her, "Why don't you try what Philip has..."

Sanaya smiled at him and proclaimed, "Since nobody likes my cooking, I must eat it myself. And I like my cooking." Saying so she glanced at the food again. "Where are you going?" As he saw her get up he asked her.

"I am done." She answered him briefly. Nick was going to say something else too but only if she was going to let him. Without waiting for what he was going to tell her Sanaya wandered upstairs.

As soon as she got in her room she closed the door. "So my cooking is boring? I see. Come to tell me that you want to eat my cooking, I will tell you then. Since I cook bad forget about ever eating my cooking." She threw some of her clothes on the bed angrily. Not only angry but she was more hurt, how could he just behave like that? He did not even taste it, he did not give a damn about her hard work.

Sanaya got ready fast and then grabbed her purse. But as she went downstairs she was stopped by Nick.

"Where are you going like this?" He asked her while holding her hand. Sanaya pulled her hand away as she replied, "At work of course."

"Wearing this?"

Sanaya took a look at herself, "What's wrong with this dress?"

"Go and change," Nick told her. Now he was even going to choose what could she wear and what not. Sanaya could not believe this. She told him, "I don't want to. Nothing is wrong with this dress, I..."

"I said go and change which means you are going to change it and it must be RIGHT NOW." She chuckled. She could not believe this. "I also said I don't want to which means..." He cut her off easily. Grabbing her hand he started wandering upstairs, "Since you are stubborn. I will help you out."

"What does he want to do?" Sanaya got a hold on the curtain of the second floor and grabbing it tightly, with all her strength she spoke, "Let go of my hand. What are you doing?"

"I will help you to get changed." He said trying to get her away from the curtain but she was not going to. "No, you can not. I love this dress, I am comfortable with this. I don't want to change."

"I said it already. Change means change. You need to know I never take a 'no' for an answer, babe." He pulled her closer and Sanaya grabbed the curtain with both her hands and tried to hug it well. When he was pulling her she got a stronghold in the curtain.

"I am not going!!!" She screamed louder and tried her best she could to not let him take her in the room.
