Chapter 64: Chapter 64

TERRIFYING THOUGHTS

"Cancel all the appointments I have for today, I would rather stay at home today and do my work, than usual, you can postpone it to another day and make sure you pass the information to the crew, but that doesn't mean they won't be working.

It's only I, that would be taking this day off, you excluded, I want you to make sure everything is running smoothly, as you know we got a bigger problem in our hands which we have not gotten a solution to.

Work hard today, I would be waiting for your feedback latest, tomorrow morning, I hope you don't keep me waiting Miss Tiffany and also keep a very close eye on Mr Reynold the head of management staff, as much as what I hear about him does not give him off, I still have my own doubts", Rashid concluded as he checked his wrist watch for the umpteenth time.

He waited to get a reply from his personal assistant, Miss Tiffany, but he didn't hear anything.

"Miss Tiffany?", he interjected and called with solemn interest.

"Y-yes Sir, b-but Sir....

"Yes what is it, Miss Tiffany?", he queried.

"Nothing Sir, would do as you say, but Sir the appointments we have today is a very serious one which I think needs to be handled with utmost care.

This business moguls coming here today do not look like people that could easily be turned around, if we had made reservations earlier so that the appointments could be changed, it would have been b-bet-better", Miss Tiffany stuttered as she clamped the receiver tightly to her right ear.

"That should not be your problem Miss Tiffany,just carry out my instructions as I said and deliver the feedback back to my table", Rashid convinced.

"Mmmhh, alright Sir, do have a nice day", she replied and waited for him to hung up.

ΩΩΩΩ~~~ΩΩΩΩ

"Damn I'm quite late", Janelle muttered to herself as she flipped through her notebook. She didn't know how to tell her friends that she's going to be extremely busy and her time was due already.

She bit down on her bottom lips as she played with the pen in her hands.

"What's the problem?", Ben, Janelle's course representative asked, after watching Janelle for a long time fidgeting with her pen.

"Nothing, I only forgot to tell you guys that I would be having a very important meeting with someone, like I have a guest at home and it's time already", Janelle explained.

"You would have said so earlier and here we are thinking something bad might have happened at home and you were thinking your brains out, alright you could just schedule it until Saturday, I don't know if we are okay with that?", Ben asked his fellow colleagues who had pleaded with Janelle to teach them statistics, since they were having a hard time solving it.

"That's just it, Saturday is a very busy day for me, if we could have at on Friday, I would be so chanced on Friday and at least you all would have time to bring up different topics and questions which are difficult for you", Janelle said.

"Ohhh alright, any time is okay with us, you are our tutor after all, so it's okay with us, thanks a lot, and you said something like us bringing up topics that we find difficult.

A little tip babe, we don't even know anything about statistics, so I would just go home and have a very big fun with my friends and on Friday I would be here for the tutorials", Sophia said with a huge smirk on her face.

"If everyone should go home and try solving the little statistics problem they could handle, I know you Sophia Manuel, you would never do that. Like it's the last thing you would do.

I wonder sometimes, why you thought of joining my tutorials", Janelle disclosed.

"Ohhh come of it babe, sometimes we just gotta have fun, at least once in a while", Sophia replied.

"A.l.r.i.g.h.t", Janelle bawled, as she stood up from her seat, picked up her bag and waved them goodbye, before leaving.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Janelle entered into Rashids' mansion, as she remembered all that they had together at their secret place, she wondered if he would act like they had been together last week, or if he would just go about acting so bossy and like though nothing ever happened between both of them.
She noticed the expensive cars that lined up at the garage, "like I mean, who won't notice such beauties, from how flashy and expensive to even the owner", she thought.
She walked to the door and pressed on the bell, it rang once, twice, thrice, she opened the door and walked in after being so tired of standing outside and waiting patiently.
Everywhere was dark, the curtains were down, she could not see anything, she could not even see where the curtains hung.
She was terrified, that something had happened, "he smelt so fucking rich, so probably he must have enemies, ohhhhhhh.my.fucking.gaddddd", she thought as different images flashed through her head.
She thought of blood seeping out of a neck which had been slitted through with a knife, her body became so cold. She was scared.
"Scream, run out, shout, turn your back", her instincts kept shouting at her, but she just could not summon up courage to do that, infact she had no nerves to do that.
She was so fucking scared, while still in deep thoughts, she felt something soft brush against her leg.
.... Noooo, that's the end of it, this is the end of me. She didn't feel anything else, this time around it rubbed itself softly against her.
Sweat trickled down her shoulder from her neck. "I had known there was nothing good about this guy, he screamed of trouble and something else I can not fathom, but I know this is the end of me", Janelle muttered silently to herself.
"ohhh.mary.ohhhhhhhh.God... ohhhhh, I promise to be a good child, I won't ever kiss, I won't ever shout at mum, I won't ever mock my lecturers, just let me go this time...", she screamed in a very high pitched voice when she felt a little scratch on her big toe.
Suddenly the lights went on, she could not see clearly, she was trying to get accustomed to the rays of the light that shone above her and directly in her eyes.
When she had finally grown accustomed to the light, she blinked thrice, she saw a shadow, that looked.... No rather it was so tall, lean mad muscular, the shadow folded it's hands against it's chest or rather it was holding something in it's arms.
She just could not tell, but she hoped it was not a sick psycho, who took joy and happiness in killing people. If it was what she thought, then she is dead, she knows that so much that she felt like crying.
She took a step back towards the entrance of the sitting room, the shadow came closer, one step back again, it came forward.
Her heart beat thumped wildly and loudly against her chest, she could not take a long breath, she just couldn't. Only if she had known, she would have stayed back to tutor her friends.
"Who are you?", she asked as she took one more step backwards, which brought her to the walls of the sitting room, she knew she was done for. No running away again. She was in her last phase of line on Earth.
"She would die, it would kill her", her spirit kept repeating within herself.
The shadow took two steps forward and closed the distance between itself and Janelle, until there was no space between both of them.
"Too damn hard, hard like a wall", she thought of the Shadow's body.
....but no, only that it wasn't a shadow, but rather Rashid.
"R-ras-rash-rashid?", Janelle stuttered, as her eyes went all round like saucers, when she finally knew who the supposed shadow is.
"or!!!?, isn't it him?", she asked herself.
"Rashid!?", she said this time around, she was fully sure the shadow is him.
