Chapter 27: Chapter 27

It is up to her to follow Frahisto! She did, however, have a flashlight with her this time. She is determined not to stumble. Frahisto and she were separated by a considerable distance, yet she could clearly see him. Because the man is kinda panther kind, she assures she won't lose track of him. Frahisto has a sixth eye, she believes.

Oh, my! I lost him once more!

In irritation, she stomped on her stool. Eh, she just said she'd be cautious. There was nothing she could do but run through the woods.

"Where are you? Frahisto! You make me nervous." Frahisto was nowhere to be found as she searched him. Crickets and bugs were all she could hear. "Oh, my! It has become much more terrifying." She keeps looking for him. When a frog leaped at her feet, she almost screamed. She was soothing herself by biting her bottom lip. She didn't bother to turn on her flashlight, which she still grasped securely.

She began her trek into the dense forest. Hopefully, no ghosts or snakes. Worse, fairies or wolves! She prayed as her steps slowing. She also calls the man's name, but just faintly, so as not to disturb the other creatures.

What the heck is it? A light appeared front of her. Approximately a meter distant. Houses? However, she was aware that there was a sign indicating that this location was off-limits. It's impossible to own a home, but what if it is? Frahisto may be there. Perhaps that house has an old witch who enchanted my Frahisto! That's possible! Right now, I have to find him. Many women find Frahisto to be attractive. I, too, am fond of him—

She quickly shake of her head, she expressed her dissatisfaction with what running to her mind. She kept thinking about his handsome face, and she went into the light she could see before her dread subsided. To ward off horrors, she tightened her grip on her necklace. She will undoubtedly triumph when she confronts the old witch or whatever is bad. Sure, why not? She considered herself to be courageous... Her fear of snakes was all she had.

“Frahisto? Are you here, Frahisto?" she inquired, her voice nearly whispering. She did it if she had the ability to shout.

She continued to walk gently towards the light she could see. Maybe it's not the light that's ascending to the heavens? She inhaled deeply and forced herself to think clearly. After that, what else was she thinking about? Frahisto must be rescued!

"What is that?" Despite the fact that it was dark due to the dense woods, she rapidly peered around. Someone was speaking.

"Oh no! I believe Frahisto has been eaten!" She hurriedly began walking, practically running. But her foot was entangled in the protruding veins, causing her to stumble. Wait a minute, Frahisto!

But she was taken aback when she arrived at the opening and saw someone else. Not Frahisto. There were several of them, Odessa estimates that they are like 20 of men. They were armed, and she also noticed the two african catfish was there too. Her heart jumped at what she saw, and she knew something bad was about to happen. She looked at the light source, which was a stone house.

"Why does no one know this place is a hide out

She took a step back, fearful that if she stayed any longer, something bad would happen to her. But what about Frahisto? She noticed him enter. She was taken aback. Could it be that she always notices when the man is missing because he is watching this place? She bit her lip. It meant, Frahisto is a cop... Or even more so.

"How many times have I told you to quit going to Bartolome's niece? That woman constantly gets you into fights, ah!"

Is she the one they're talking about? She looked at the speaker, a fat man with a big belly and a long mustache.

"She's my type, boss! That woman is stunning! Her breasts and legs are to die for, and I'm constantly hardened whenever I view Odessa's fat ass!"

She wanted to stone it with th flashlight she was holding, but before she could lift her hand to stone it, someone abruptly dragged her away, causing her to resist, but she soon calmed down when she heard Frahisto's voice.

"What brings you here?"

Her eyes narrowed as she realized the man was fine, and she hugged him tightly. "I thought you were hurt. Wait, are you a cop?!" she exclaimed as she let go.

"Odessa, answer my question! What are you doing here? Don't you realize how dangerous this location is? Fuck!"

She was flabbergasted. "I-I saw you walking here and I was scared thinking you were being charmed by fairies again," she said, knowing it was dangerous but she's worried for him.

He sighed and remained silent. She couldn't see his face because it was dark at their location, even though she desperately wanted to touch his cheek.

"Odessa..."

"W-what?" She wonders each time he mentions her name... She stutters and gets worried all of the time.

She felt the embrace he provided when he took a long breath. She was caught off guard by what she did but she said nothing. Her heart was on the verge of exploding, and she was having trouble breathing. Frahisto hugged her for no apparent reason. What is causing her heart to tremble?

"Don't do it again next time. You're following me like a mad man. What would you do if anything bad happened to you? What if they caught you?!" Concerned flush to his eyes.

Her heartbeat is heating fast! God! Is this love? The warmth of her cheeks and the quivering of her hand says it all.

"Let's get going. We need to get you out of here as soon as possible. It's risky here, and I don't want you to see what I'm about to do."

“But—”

"Fuck!"

When someone lit up their hiding area, they were both taken aback.

"Who is that?!!" Said the man, his voice is like a lion roaring.

Frahisto drew her into his body very instantly, as though to protect her. They took cover behind a large tree.

"Can you tell me what's in there?"

"It appears that someone is in there.."

She clutched her fingers tightly to Frahisto as she heard Frahisto swear gently beside her. "Please don't make any noises, okay?" It spoke to her quietly, and she nodded.

"Go look for it! If you spot a human, kill them right away."

Her heart pounded of what she heard, but she calmed down when she realized the man was beside her, and she felt safe in its arms, knowing nothing bad would happen. She heard the man with the flashlight slowly approach them, and she wanted to peek, but Frahisto's body was blocking her view, and she heard his heartbeat.

Despite the fact that they were both in danger, she managed to smell his body. Shocks! The scent of him is so smells good! Hmm! What does Frahisto use? Tide with downy, or downy with tide? She chuckled. She even refrained from caressing his chest, which she knew was hard as cement.

She was about to sniff the man again when someone crawled up her leg like... a snake! She couldn't stop herself from screaming out loud.

"Fuck!" Frahisto hastily covered her mouth, but the people nearby were alarmed, and the man swiftly took her away before they could be shot.

She didn't want to scream earlier but she was terrified of snakes because they might bite her. “Yes! Sorry for the inconvenience... ”

It remained silent. It simply grabbed her hand and dragged her away. Armed men are already pursuing them, and bullets are flying down on them. They might have been hit by gunfire earlier if not for the tall woods. She was even surprised when Frahisto brandished a gun and opened fire. She screams every time she hears a gunshot. Her heart was pounding, she could feel it. She'd most likely pass away from a heart attack.

"Down!"

A gunshot might have hit her head if the man hadn't pulled her. Oh, my God! She isn't ready to die just yet. Frahisto's body suddenly engulfed her, shielding her from harm. He retaliated by firing at the armed men. She wanted to see those men, but Frahisto's body was too wide for her to see through.

"Are we going to die here?"

"No."

She nodded. Frahisto may be irritated by the series of queries she asks. She simply closed her eyes and covered both sides of her ear. She thinks she will become deaf as a result of it. This is how it feels in this situation, yet it's strange because she was not afraid. Maybe it was because the man was very close to her.

"Run!"

When Frahisto pulled her away, she awakens. They dash through the woods. She also used the flashlight to see the road ahead of them. She wished she could have inquired as to why and how her Frahisto is now able to see in the dark.

Her dress hung on the barbed wire once more, and she screamed. It's possible that their pursuers will catch up with them. When Frahisto tore her skirt, she was taken aback. Odessa would have objected because her dress was too short and he could see her soul through it, but he quickly drew her away.

"Don't turn around."

"H-ha?"

"Damn, Odessa! I said don't turn your gaze around!" He yelled at her. As they ran, it tightened its grip on her hand.

“Yes! B-but they're—"

He tossed the flashlight she was holding to the side. "Focus," he urged.

Someone yelled at them again and fired a gun at them, but Frahisto fired back. She simply bit her lower lip. Despite the fact that they were now holding hands, she couldn't help but be concerned for their safety. Frahisto must return to Manila to see his wife so, they must now survive.

"Seek them out!"

"Yes, Boss!"

She was curious as to how they got to the brook. She first stared at one of the armed men, then at Frahisto. This is their local mayor, who is brandishing a weapon. Frahisto only glanced at her, puzzled, and signaled for her to ask later.

The water was up to their chests, and they were huddled beneath a large boulder. She clutched him and kept her body level to avoid drowning. Her height is quiet cute. Except for the enormous rocks, it's only fair that no one notices them hidden. The falling tree was obstructed by something else.

"They must be found immediately or my reputation will be shattered!"

She gripped Frahisto's body tightly as what she heard, the light of the flashlight the armed men were carrying spreading and searching for them. She thought their Mayor was kind and good to people, which was sad to think about. Many of them still saluted its ability to run the town, only to discover its a bad evil.

She wanted to ask Frahisto if he was a cop, but she couldn't because she may drown if she let go of her grip.

They did so for a few minutes until there was silence, and she could hear the Mayor's staff fleeing. She took a deep breath, oblivious to the fact that the water was cold. But because they're grasping each other, the water would be ashamed of how warm they were.

"They've gone. Can we go home now?"

Frahisto shook his head as no. She fell silent and waited for the man to continue after he shook his head and ordered her 'don't make noise.' She was terrified about her father, and she couldn't accept that anything horrible would happen to him.

"F-frahisto..."

"Hmm?"

She sighed deeply and her grip loosened slightly as she hesitated to suggest returning home. "I-I want to go home," she said, her grip loosening slightly.

"Not now."

"Why?"

"They're everywhere, and they'll find it easy to murder us if they see us."

True, she was blown away by the wind, but what about her father? Could something bad have happened?

"Why did you follow me? You know what you're doing is dangerous, right? What if you get shot? What if they catch you? What, Odessa?" it said fiercely, and the tone of its voice soothed her.

Frahisto sighed and calmed down as she lowered her gaze. Would she say she was concerned? Did she realize it was a Police?

She bit her bottom lip and said, "S-sorry…"

He responded with a nod and then remained silent. When Frahisto decided to go up in the water, she calmed down. He speculated that she might catch cold of they'll stay there overnight in the water. Despite his worries, she smiled. If she hadn't coughed, she would have almost shuddered.

"Fuck!"

"I'm alright."

"You should be asleep at this hour. Now that you've coughed, I'm left with a guilt trip."

"But I'm really oka—"

"No, you aren't."

Again, she coughed. Did they run like track and field athletes before diving into the water? As a result, it's understandable. Frahisto reprimanded her because he was worried. She smiled like a fool rather than being offended. When he's angry, he's cute. Despite her appearance as a fool coughing, she couldn't help but smiled.

"All right, all right! They've already left, I think. I'll drive you back home. You should change your clothes and—

"Thank you…"

Frahisto carried her and said, "Close your eyes..."

The intense feelings she had for Frahisto surfaced once more. She did nothing except close her eyes and listen to what he had to say. She was confident that she would be safe. She felt a hundred times safe in his arms alone.

They were already at home when she opened her eyes. It doesn't matter that the light isn't switched on. Frahisto walked in the dark as if he was used to it. He hurried into her room and placed her on the bamboo bed with care.

"We've arrived..."

She remained silent. He simply walked away softly, and the camera turned away from her. It softly closed the door to leave.

"F-frahisto..." she said as he turned to face him. "Please don't leave."

He didn't respond, but she did see it emerge from her room. She exhaled deeply and pinched herself. Goodness! Why is she pleading with Frahisto to stay while he is already married?

You fool!

She decided to freshen up and drink plenty of water. After the shooting, she thinks she can't be able to sleep tonight. She believes it will make sleeping more difficult for her.

The next day, she awoke with a cold and a high temperature. She was on the verge of falling out of bed. She stroked her head, unsure if she would be able to stand. When her gaze settled on the window, she appeared to become dizzy. Meanwhile, the sun is shining brightly.

Frahisto!

With that in mind, she leapt from her bed and dashed from her room. She slept well last night despite her overthinking. She had no idea whether the man had gone home or slept in the other room. Her father approached her first, while seated in his favorite chair in front of the window, sipping coffee and watching his favorite television show.

"Father!" she said, relieved to learn that he was still alive and that nothing had actually happened.

"Why are you in such a rush, Odessa? Wait are you sick? You're pale today."

She withdrew her gaze right away. She would be worried if she told him she was sick, and she would be forced to drink coconut oil combined with a lot of leaves. "I'm okay! Where is F-frahisto, Father? ”

He grinned and sipped his coffee once more. "It'd be better if you ate breakfast there first, because you're starting to look sick."

She had no choice but to follow her father. She shrugged as she walked into the kitchen and sat in a chair. What happened to Frahisto? Is it still there? Was he able to return to Manila? She was gasping for air. She overslept, and now she's sick with a high fever. She closed her eyes for a brief period, suffering as she became aware of the spinning in her surroundings.

"Hey!" Frahisto said, grabbing her by the hand.

It was only then that she realized she had fallen asleep on a chair with no backrest. "Frahisto?"

"It's me— Damn! You've got a fever. ”

When her body rose into the air, she could no longer resist. Frahisto carried her about as if she were a bride. It took large steps to return her to her room.

"Remain here. I'm going to get some medicine and food.”

She couldn't stop herself from nodding. She simply let the man out again, and when he returned, he had soup and medicine with him.

"I don't want to take my father's medicine... It tastes like a spicy, sour oil..."

He laughed at what she said and placed the food next to her gently. "Odessa, you may be stupidly innocent at times."

She laughed instead of getting offended. Frahisto sat her down and offered to assist her with her meal, but she politely declined. She was still capable of feeding herself.

"I apologize for last night..."

She takes a look at him. "Ha?" she asked, puzzled, "W-why are you sorry to me?" she asked, having only eaten two mouthfuls of food and not tasting anything in the soup. "I should, because I'm the one who—"

"No, it's entirely my fault. I should have just stated my occupation first. ”

She lowered the spoon and locked her gaze on Frahisto. She tries to read his expressions but retreats. She couldn't look into his eyes for very long. "What do you do for a living? Are you a cop?"

He gave her a sparse smile and told her to eat first before he spoke. Despite her sickness, she was eager to eat what he had brought. She was grateful, and the man didn't offer her any oil medicine because she might have cried at this point.

Frahisto simply asked her to res. He proposed that he prepare their lunch that day. If she hadn't just remembered that Frahisto was a married guy, she would have been astonished.
