Charles pov’s

“Do you mean emily james the single billionaire woman?” I asked in shock.

“Yes” Evans replied immediately.

“She’s the mother of my Eva” I added and he stare at me susprised.

“How did you know about that” he said looking at me.

“Cause am Eva’s father” I said sadly

“Whatt” he screamed in shock.

“How did you find out” I asked staring at Evans.

“I was her fiancee and when we got to her family house I met him for the first time there.

“You know it was writes never knowing because Emily bears James instead of Romeo” Evans added looking at me.

“True, it all confusing because his son’s bears Romeo and not James” I said.

“So Emily is the woman the George guy is fighting for?” I asked him as we both busted into a loud laughter.

“So you guys are in some sort of relationship?” I asked him with a smirk plastered on my face.

“Do you love her” I found myself asking him and I saw a pink blush appeared on his cheeks.

“I guess that blush answered it all” I thought within me.

Evans pov’s

“I do love her but I can’t say she feels the same way, because she’s been through a lot from men” I replied him sadly.

But it more scaring now, caused her father is an enemy and the love of my life is an enemy’s duagther.

“I don’t know what to do about it l, am confused though I have waited for a day to come where I would take revenge for our parents death but it happens to be so complicated” I added sadly.

“Why” I asked as I ruffled my hair.

“Deep breath” charles said to me.

“But why did you leave Emily” I asked him and his face became

“Well, I was after her money as I wanted more even though I was already in a gang which she wasn’t aware of”.

“And more especially I was so young and wasn’t ready to start a family so quickly after my studies” he said heartbroken.

“So what do you plan on doing?” I asked him.

“I planned on killing each of his family members the way I did to Jason” I said with an evil smirk.

“Hold on!! You kidnapped Jason” I asked and used my hand to cover my mouth in shock.

“Yes and I sent his body to his family few minutes after I killed George” he added.

“What” I screamed looking at him in fright.

“Why” I asked him scared.

“I want to cause him more pains, Mr Romeo” he muttered with his eyes bloodshot.

“Now I found you and you happen to be inlove with his daughter” he added pointing at me with tears in his eyes.

“I promise to take revenge Evans” he said and I nodded.

“I also promise to take revenge Charles” I replied him sadly.

“You know we just have to take our revenge in the right way” I said to him cleaning the tears which were threatening to fall from my eyes.

“What do you mean the right way?” he asked me and I smiled gesturing for him to come closer.

He came closer and I whispered some words into his ears making him look at me in shock.

We were at his swimming pool relaxing and catching up from old times.

“It really nice having you here with me Charles” I said to him sincerely and he smiled.

“Damn!! My brother is so rich” I teased bad we bother busted into a loud laughter.

We both stay silently as we use our leg to play with the water in the swimming pool until I decide to break the silence.

“So Charles” I started and he turned to look at me removing his sun shade from his eyes.

“Won’t you love to meet” I paused looking at him.

“C’mon brother, tell me what you have to say” he said looking at me with full attention.

“Wouldn’t you love to meet Eva” I said rephrasing my words.

He sighed deeply and took his eyes away from mine.

“I don’t know man, sincerely I can’t say” he replied lowly.

“Don’t say that she has long wish to meet her dad” I said to him smiling.

“After so many years of abandoning her, I doubt that” he replied and got up from the pool picking a towel to dry his body.

“She’s a sweet girl and am sure she would forgive you” I said in assurance.

“Would she be able to accept me as her father even when I wasn’t present in her life” he asked in regret.

“Just show how much you regretted staying far from her and try to make her happy” I said to him also standing up from the pool.

“I would think about it” he said and walked off.

Emily’s pov’s

“The next day”

“How could you kill your best friend and his wife because of greed” Mom yell at him and slapped his arm.

Mom, Rodgers and I were in the ward with dad when the doctor came in and confirmed Jason is Still alive but he is just in coma.

I fell to the floor, as I cried like a little child.

“No oo it a lie doctor” mom yelled refusing to believe it.

Rodgers felt angry as he blames himself for not saving his brother from the people that had him.

Dad on the other hand was speechless as his was blank.

I looked closely at him to see tears flowing down from his eyes.

“Humph show off” I huffed angrily.

He caused all this and I couldn’t keep being slient so I picked his phone and played the video for mom and Rodgers to watch.

They look so susprised as they kept their eyes wide open for the video to end while dad stare at me in shocked.

“Explain, because you caused all this” I yelled as I thrown the phone on his body.

Dad narrated how his greed made him killed his best friend and his wife for their money.

He changed the will and chased after his two sons but he was unsuccessful in getting his children.

“Why did you do this mom” yelled shaking him vigorously.

“I did it for you all” he said with his head bow.

“For us, you lie Romeo” mom said to him.

“How wicked can you be Romeo” mom yelled and left.

“Am disappointed in you dad” I said waking out with Rodgers.

I pray Jason comes out of coma alive, cause I can’t bear anything happening to my brother.

Jason is still alive!!!
