Evans pov’s

I was shocked at Emily’s question

What prompted her to ask about my background.

Did someone say something to her about me

When she asked me that question I was very shock.

I have hidden that part of my life, that weakness in me

But she made me remember how my parents were murderer.

She just reminded me of how my life turn upside down

It triggered me to recall how things change so fast from good to bad.

Why did she open the unhealed wounds in my heart, why did she make me remember the pain.

“Why” I sighed stomping my feet on the ground.

I look at the time to see it 4pm already.

Emily asked me to meet her up by this time.

“Ahhhhh” was I thinking that long I stated.

Didn’t know when the time got to 4pm so quickly.

Guess I should hurray up, I wouldn’t like to keep the boss waiting.

I tidy my office and walked back to Emily office

Since she instructed me to meet her by 4pm

I wonder what she has in mind for me.

I hope it nothing bad.

I decided to behave professionally, so I knocked on her door.

Come in” I heard a faint voice.

I pushed the door and walked in with my hands in my trouser pockets.

Y”ou asked me to meet you here by 4pm?” I said to her calmly.

“Oh yeah! Didn’t know it time already” she said grabbing her handbag as she got up a walked past my direction heading to the door.

She turned one more time to check if she kept her files probably before turning to look around her office.

“Let’s get going” she said holding the knob of the door while I trailed behind her.

When we got off the office building we both hopped into her car and she drove out with two other car trailing behind her.

I guess she brought her bodyguards today.

Hmmmm I thought wondering where we are both going too with her bodyguards.

We both were slient as she kept driving.

None of us said a word to each other, I kept staring outside the windows countless times while she put all her concentration on the driving.

She parked her car very close to a big mall.

“Mall why are we here” I thought

So I remained in her car thinking she wanted to grab something for herself alone and she won’t be needing me.

A”ren’t you coming?” she asked perplexed.

“I thought” I was saying but she cut me short in my words.

“Come in” she said gesturing with her hands.

I opened the car door and got off.

I trailed behind her as we enter the beautiful mall.

The cloths here is going to worth thousands of dollars.

I can’t afford such, what’s she planning.

We got down and began to move do did I bodyguards.

I began to hear comment as people gathered taking pictures and video of us walking into the mall.

I held emily’s hands and draw her closer to me as we moved but the place was crowded band blocked with people trying to get one information from us.

Huh when the the press get here so fast.

The young man here is Evans and his not my husband she said and some of the Ladies began to screams

I kept hearing different comment from Ladies which made me took a step backwards.

But his my fiancee she added pecking my cheeks while I stare at her lovely

“Sure we” said in unison and posed putting on a smiling

‘I see that why you brought your bodyguards’ I said whispering to her ears.

‘Yes’ she nodded blushing.

Evans pov’s

The bodyguards help us clear a path for us to walk in freely.

“I guess we the celebrity couples now” Emily said as we shared a laugh.

“And a cute one at that” I added with a wink, making her chuckled.

We got to the mall, and there was no one there.

The bodyguards pushed the door opened for us as we walked in.

She held my hand and smile at me briefly.

“Welcome to Crystal Mall, what can I do for you” the attendant said jolting me at of my thought.

Emily smiled at her and I did the same too.

“We need male clothing the best you’ve got “ she said while I stare at her in bewilderment

What does she need male clothing for??

“Because it for my fiancee” she added stealing a glance at me. While I choked on my spit.

“Are you okay sir” the attendant asked in a panicked tone while I nodded my head still coughing.

“His fine” Emily said to the attendant who left

“Alright ma’am this way” the attendant replied beaming in smiles

So she’s doing shopping for me

“Wow! Isn’t this awesome” I thought doing a victory dance in my head

I guess this act of a fake fiancee isn’t bad afterall.

I trailed behind them as the attendant directed us to the path stock with expensive male clothing.

“Wow!!” I didn’t know when it escape from my mouth.

E”vans go try on some clothes” emily said while I chuckled.

I walked around and pick long sleeves and some pants

I walked into the dressing room to try them on

When I was done I came out wearing a blue long sleeves and black pants I made sure I opened 3 buttons at the top to make it look sexy

“Hmm not bad” Emily commended while u rolled my eyes.

That what have been doing for the past half and hour, she keeps rejecting all the clothes I put on.

“Let me select some nice clothes for you” she said getting up from the couch she was sitting on.

She moved around and touch a red texudo suit.

It was beautiful and expensive am very certain of that.

“Don’t you think that too expensive” I moved behind her whispering in her ears

“I got this” she said trailing her hands down the texudo.

She later pick 4 more texudo, making it five

Before paying the bills.

When we got to the car I unlocked the door and got in, same as emily.

‘Thank you for today, the clothing” I said rubbing her palm softly.

“Anything for my fiance” she said and immediately covered her mouth

‘I meant fake fiance” she added in a hard tone while I chuckled.

Are you sure am fake I said tickling her and she laughed loudly.

“Evans stop we in the car stop it” she said between laughter.

“Not until you say evans is my real fiancee” I said teasing her.

“No” she said still laughing as I tickled her hardly .

“Fine okay allow me breathe” but it came out lowly.

I left her waiting for her response instead she pulled my ears and stick her tongue out.

Oh my she got me, I smiled.

After what emily said which I heard clearly

The rest of the drive was slient and it was eating me up.

“Hey that not the route to my house” I excalmed.

“Oh well you’re going to be staying with me from now” she replied concentrating on her driver.

“What why?” I asked in a pained tone.

“Well because you’re my fake fiancee, we need to make it obvious” she stated.

“Why not stay with me” I said folding my hands.

“Because your apartment is way too small for me and you” she said looking at me.

“Yeah sorry” I said lowly.

I guess am not to good for her.

“I would be seeing Eva” I said trying to sound cheerful.

Fake couple right??
