CHAPTER 14: What's Wrong With Me

Sunday came.

Taese still lying in his bed. It's sunday morning so there's nothing to be worry for. He got nothing to do with this day. So he decided to sleep all day. He wanted to but... But what happened last friday night was kept coming to his head. The scenarios was still fresh in his mind, in his memory.

And every-damn-time he thought about it, he got boner! A fvking boner all damn time! Even he doesn't want to but his body couldn't resist it.

"Fuck!" He threw the pillow he put in his face. "Why am thinking her?!" He hissed.

"She's nothing compared to my exes! But why the fvck my mind can't stop thinking about her?! Fvking fvck! This is not me!" He stood up. "I need to take a shower!"

He felt relaxed as he down himself to the bath tub. He then closed his eyes and about to lean himself not until the image of Ivyna sniffing his torso showed in his mind. He stormed out of bathroom without wearing anything. Some parts of his body have a bubbles but he doesn't care.

He picked up his phone and dialed the number of his friend, Jeffrey. Minutes had passed before the said man answered his call.

"Hello, man—"

"Gather others. Let's drink." Without hearing the answer of the other line, Taese ended the line.

"I need air." He said and went to his closest.

ON THE OTHER HAND, Ivyna was lying in her bed hearing her parents arguing at early in the morning. But that doesn't bother.

Her mind was full occupied by the answer of her boss last friday.

"Think what I think?" she mumbled. "The answer should be yes or no but why his answer is like that?"

She's confused and it killing her. She couldn't remember if she kissed him or he kissed her. She did too much embarrassing things and she'd hope she didn't kissed him.

"Argh!" she sat down. "Why I can't remember?!"

She got startled when something hitted in her door. Then she heard her parents yelling voices.

"Arghh! Why are they yelling at each other in the early in morning again?!"

She fixed herself before she went out of her room. And as what she expected and witnessed everyday, their house was in a messy. It's like, storm landed on there.

She didn't give attention to it and made herself a breakfast while hearing her parents arguments. After that, she took a bath and fixed herself again. She'll going to market to buy some stocks.

On her way, she still thinking her boss. She knows that she must forgot it she thought her boss probably forgot it already. It took her a couple of hours before she finished marketing. She got home and relax all day.

Monday came. And it's work again. As Ivgna left their house, she was hoping that Taese won't open up the topic about what's happened between them last Friday.

"Okay, relax," she talked to herself in the mirror. "He's probably forgot it. You're just overacting." she convinced herself.

On her way to company, she couldn't stop herself to feel the nervous and embarrassed. She did horrible thing to her boss. Who wouldn't be this embarrassed to themselves if they are in her shoes.

Until she rode the elevator, she's still praying for herself. Two men greeted her when she went inside the elevator. She greeted back and stood behind them.

"The CEO seems okay today." The guy said.

"You noticed, too?" The other guy asked.

"Yup, when I entered his office earlier, he didn't bark at me."

"I think I must pass my papers today."

They kept talking while Ivyna just listening to them.

'He's in good mode?' She thought. 'I hope it don't turn down once he saw me.'

The elevator stopped and opened. She went out and gradually taking her steps. She was standing right in front of Taese's office. She have a heave sighed before she pushed the doorknob.

"Good morning, sir." She greeted before she stepped her feet inside.

When she got nothing in response, she looked at him and got taken aback that he's looking at her.

"O-Oh! Good morning!"

Ivyna weird out of him.

'Did he just startled?' She thought.

She bowed her head before she closed the door and went to her table.

A full of silence filled the work. Only the sound of the keyboard could hear. And sometimes, the call Taese answered.

Taese secretly peeking a look at her. He does not know why he doing though. All he knew was he woke up with a happy feeling. The first thought came in his mind once he open his eyes, he will see her. And that's kept him seems okay today.

He denied it to himself but once Ivyna greeted him, he got stunned. She just wearing the casual company attire but something shining in her. He doesn't know what but she seems beautiful today.

'What's wrong with me?' He thought.

While, Ivyna could feel that someone was staring at her. And she knew who was it. But she doesn't want to conclude. Her boss staring at her for what reason? Maybe she just overacting again.

'What's wrong with me?' She thought.
