Khushi’s P.O.V.

After fazar prayer, I again slept for sometime. After having a dream, I opened my eyes suddenly. In my dream, someone got hurt but I couldn't remember who was that person.

I tried to remember that only to get a headache as return. Giving that thought a break, I got up and looked at the clock. It was already 10 in the morning and seeing that, I got shocked.

Being freshen up, I got down to take a coffee. Seeing my condition, kaki spoke up, “What happened, Khushi?”

I spoke up while trying to sound normal, “Nothing, Kaki. I just wanted a coffee.”

Nodding at me, she spoke up, “Take your breakfast. Its on the table. I am bringing your coffee.”

Though I wasn't feeling like eating anything, I got near the table and took my seat. I kept staring at the food until kaki came with my coffee.

Seeing her, I took a bite from a bread. She placed the coffee in front of me and left from there.

Finishing the bread, I got back to my room with the coffee. I was about to go to the balcony but got stopped as I heard my phone ringing.

I got near the phone and kept staring at the phone screen. Though the caller ID was not saved in my phone, it was somewhat familiar.

I tried to figure out who could be it but by that time, the line got cut. I was thinking, should I call back when the phone started ringing again.

I answered the call this time and uttered, “Who is it?”

For some moments there was nothing from the other side of the line. I was about to cut off the line but got stopped when I heard him uttering,“It's Arhaan here, Khushi. I need to talk to you. Let's meet for a coffee. I will wait for you at the coffee shop near your house at 4 by afternoon.” saying this, Arhaan cut off the line before I could speak up anything.

He was sounding quite calm and normal which surprised me. As I thought, he would be angry with me for whatever was happening. I thought he would think that I made Areesha Api to think of our marriage and all that.

Why he is so calm when I thought he would be yelling at me!

Putting the phone on the table, I went to balcony while sipping the coffee and kept thinking whether I should go to meet him..

Arhaan's P.O.V.

Waking up early in the morning, I went to washroom to get freshen up and then got ready to go for jogging.

When I was on the staircase, Vai called me from behind, “Arhaan?”

I turned to find him ready to go for jogging. We got out of the house together and ran for a good time. On our way back, we kept talking about random stuffs.

And when we entered our house, Vai asked me, “What did you decide?”

When I gave him a confused look, he uttered again, “I am talking about Khushi. Are you going to meet her?”

I scoffed a little and uttered, “Yes. I have decided to meet Khushi.” only to hear an all excited voice from Api as she spoke up, “Really, Vai? You are going to meet her?”

Getting all startled, I kept staring at her excited face as she spoke up smilingly, “When are you going to meet Khushi?”

Seeing her smiling face, a smile crept on my lips also and without bothering too much, I replied, “I have a meeting before lunch time. So may be in the afternoon.”

Api replied nodding at me, “Okay. I am sure you will like her. She is a really nice girl, Vai.”

Hearing her, I just nodded without uttering anything and she spoke up again, “Go. Getting freshen up, come downstairs. I am preparing your breakfast.”

With a smile, I replied, “Okay.” and forwarded towards my room when I heard Vai saying to Api, “Don't be so excited. He has agreed to meet her just. It's not like he said yes for this marriage.”

Hearing vai, I started taking slow steps to hear what api would reply.

She just slightly yelled at Vai as she spoke up, “I know Muhib. Anyways you just go upstairs and freshen up.”

Letting out a sigh, I got back to my room and got freshen up.

The work on the file of the meeting was incomplete. So getting freshen up,  I started working on it. After completing the work, I got downstairs.

After taking my breakfast, I got back to my room again and got ready for office. I was about to get my file but turned back as I heard my phone was ringing.

I got near the phone and got shocked seeing the caller ID. I answered the call and glancing at the clock, I spoke up, “You are up this time! What happened?”

Hearing Abeer, I got shocked even more as he spoke up, “I am not up. I just couldn't get to sleep last night.” when he was a sleepy head way too much.

I uttered with a little bit of confusion, “What happened that you are being like this?”

Making me curious, he spoke up, “You know yesterday I went to our campus and what happened?”

I just uttered, “What?” only to get an irritating answer from him, “I saw her.”

Guessing what he would possibly answer, I got silent and he spoke up, “I saw the girl. You know seeing her, I felt like she is just the one for me.”

Hearing him, I spoke up sarcastically, “Yeah right. You just met her once and you got to know she was the one for you.”

Understanding my tone, he got silent and I uttered again, “You know what Abeer? You should consult a psychiatrist.”

“You know what? I agree with you. I really should consult a psychiatrist. After all, I was with you for all these years.” Saying this, Abeer cut off the line and I just uttered, “What the!”

Then I heard Vai uttering my name and I left the room hurriedly. Vai and me left for office.

When it was almost time for the meeting, I searched the file but it wasn’t in my bag. Right then I heard Api uttering, “Searching for this?”

I turned back to see Api there standing with a smile and holding the file. I got up and said, “Yeah. I forgot it at home but why did you bother Api? I would have sent someone home to get it.”

Esha spoke up then, Mummy said to call you for informing this but I wanted to come here.

With a smile, I uttered, “Okay, sweetie. You want to have anything?”

“Yes. Choco..” While uttering Esha stopped midway and turned to Api who was just shaking her head while letting out a sigh.

Seeing that, Esha spoke up again, “Mummy, please.”

Before Api could say no, I uttered, “Princess, I will bring for you in the afternoon, okay?”

But hearing me, Api spoke up, “Aren't you supposed to meet someone in this afternoon?”

Where I thought, Api would have forgotten it but seeing her face, I understood there was no possibility of it.

Finding me keep silent, she spoke up again, “Did you call her about it?”

Letting out a sigh, I took out my phone and called her.

At first she didn't answer the call and glancing at Api, I called her again only to hear her uttering, “Who is it?”

What the! Didn't I call her once before! Yeah right. How would she get the time to save the number...

I just thought of cutting off the line but seeing Api's face, I got hold of my anger and answered her in a calm tone.

Completing my say, I cut off the line and turned to Api as she spoke up, What did she say?

She will come Api. hearing me, she smiled heartily and I started thinking, “Is Khushi really that much of a nice girl that Api likes her this much!”

After sometime Api left with Esha and I concentrated on my work.

After office time I forwarded to meet Khushi against my will and just to handle the mess that was happening but whatever happened in the afternoon made me regret my decision of meeting her.

I just kept uttering under my breath, “I should have just listened to my mind.”

Khushi’s P.O.V.

After going through a great deal of thought and deciding something to tell him, I forwarded towards the coffee shop in the afternoon. When I was about to leave the house, Abbu entered.

Seeing me, he asked, “Where are you going?”

When I kept silent, he yelled at me, “I am asking you something.”

Being startled, I spoke up, “Actually, Arhaan wanted to meet me. So I was” cutting me off, he spoke up, "So you thought of meeting him!”

Hearing his tone, I got silent and he spoke up again making me all shocked...
