Arhaan's P.O.V.

Seeing that aunty in the party, I got shocked. Though I thought my family wouldn’t make a fuss of it as they knew me very well but I kept wondering what was Khushi doing there.

When I got to know, her family was right there at that moment aunty said all that and they took it like really considerately, I was surprised. As Khushi's behaviour of past times made me think like somewhat bad of her family but it was not the case.

Then the girl herself is like that only. I thought in mind.

And then seeing her narrating the happenings of that night all innocently to Api made me glaring to her and I couldn’t help uttering, “I wasn’t worried about you. I just did what I felt I should do for the sake of humanity.” out of annoyance and went towards Vai.

Leaving the party when we forwarded towards our home, I heard Api saying to Vai in lower tone, “See, didn't I tell you this? They may really make a nice couple. I mean doing all those and caring for a girl is rarer when it is hard just to hear something good of a girl from him.”

Being unable to handle it anymore, I spoke up, “Api, stop this. I just ended up doing some unnecessary things. That's just it.”

Making me more irritated, Api spoke up, “But Arhaan, I didn't say anything about you.”

Though I knew, it was me who was she talking about only that too connecting with that girl, I got silent.

Arriving at our place, I immediately got down and took Esha in my arms from Vai and got inside the house glancing at Api for once who was just chuckling at me.

Getting freshen up, Vai and me sat in the living room. Api also joined us after a while. Seeing her, I asked, “Did Esha fall asleep?”

Api nodded at that and sat beside Vai. We continued gossiping on random stuffs for a while happily until api brought that topic again in between.

Being irritated, I just got back to my room saying, “I am feeling sleepy.”

Areesha's P.O.V.

When Arhaan left to his room, I just kept thinking about Arhaan and Khushi. I was getting a feeling that they will really make a lovely couple from earlier and the incident of that night and the caring nature of Arhaan towards Khushi just made my assumption confirmed.

I was lost in my thought when Muhib spoke up breaking it, “What is it that you are thinking being so lost?”

“Arhaan and Khushi. Muhib, don't you think, it will be great if they get together?” I asked him with a hopeful look to hear something positive answer but he didn't even utter anything but gave me a blank look.

To convince him, I spoke up again, “What? You were right there when Mrs. Anas told all that. Have you ever seen Arhaan with that caring nature without us around? Tell me.”

He spoke up then, “What is it exactly you are referring by that?”

I spoke up being excited, “We should try to make Arhaan realise that Khushi is a really nice girl and” only to get cut off before I could complete my say as he spoke up in between, “Not again!”

I got silent but kept glaring at him. Seeing that, he spoke up letting out a sigh, “Areesha, I also think Khushi is a good girl but the person you are talking about is Arhaan. Don't you know him well? According to him, Khushi is not supposed to be in his way. And if we do it forcefully, you know very well how it can end up.”

“Muhib, who says we will be forcing him to this! We will just try to get them together.” I kept saying this and Muhib just kept shaking his head while sighing.

Then remembering something, I uttered, “Actually I have a plan. You just have to help me a little.” and he uttered getting his eyes big, “Areesha, let Arhaan be his way. He is not a child anymore. Besides I don't want to be a part of this as I am in no mood to be sandwiched between you two.”

I was about to say something but my phone rang off and glancing at the caller ID, I spoke up smilingly, “I don't need your help. I am going to get him to help me. And you know, he will help me for sure.” and attending the call, I uttered happily, “Hey, Vai. How are you?”

Muhib left for room and I kept talking to him for quite a long time and narrated him the incidents of that night and my wish. He got shocked hearing all these.

I forbade him to tell anything about this and tease Arhaan and he uttered, “Have you gone mad, Api! Who wants to get killed at this young age!”

I also laughed hearing him. He gave me an idea after that I also found that pretty good and decided to follow that.

We talked on random stuffs for a while after that and cut off the line. Getting what to do now, I went towards my room happily.

Khushi’s P.O.V.

Lying on my bed, I kept thinking about the strange behaviour of Abbu and Vai at the party. May be they were just maintaining their image there as it was not just the way they are and it would be fool of me to believe that they really got changed for me. While thinking like that I didn’t get to know when I fell asleep.

After Fazar prayer, I again slept for sometime. When I woke up hearing a sound, it was already past 9 by morning. I searched for the source of that sound and it took me sometime to get that my phone was ringing.

Seeing the caller ID, I let out a sigh in irritation. I decided to ignore the call but when it started ringing for the third time, I received the call.

Before I could say anything, he spoke up, “Khushi, I have a good news for you. I thought you might be waiting for this. That's why I called.”

I spoke up, “Okay. What is it?”

He replied being all excited. Hearing him, I uttered, “Really!”

After hearing all the details from him, I cut off the line and rushed to washroom.

After taking a quick shower, I got ready and went downstairs.

I got shocked seeing vai in the living room as normally he leaves for office at 9 and it was almost 10.

But I didn't dare to ask him about it and was about to leave the house when I heard him asking me, “Where are you going?”

Being excited, I got near him but before I could say anything, he asked me making a disgusted face, “To Arhaan, your so called husband!”

I just uttered, “Vai!” only to get cut off as he spoke up yelling at me, “Whenever we were out of town, you kept doing all these, didn't you?”

Hearing him, my eyes got watery and I uttered, “Vai, it's not true.” while trying to control my tears.

“I didn't even imagine that you are such a characterless girl.” He said while glaring at me and this time tears made their way from my eyes.

When I tried to utter something again, he just yelled at me, “Stop shedding your crocodile tears. And don't pretend like all innocent after doing all that.”

I couldn't stand it anymore and uttered sternly, “I did nothing wrong Vai.”

Hearing my tone as expected he raised his hand to slap me but got stopped and we turned to the entrance as we heard someone uttering from behind, “Stop it.” only to get utterly shocked seeing that person in our house......
