Laying on the bed Aurin was soaking her pillow with tears. She tried hard to sleep for a while to soothe her messed-up mind but sleep was far away from her eyes. Sleep has become a foreign notion to her. Due to anxiety, depression and loneliness, she can't eat properly nor she can sleep.

After leaving her house she stayed at her friend Adha's house for one day. Then, she took an apartment at a low cost and shifted here. It's better to live alone than to live enduring her parent's taunting.

She thought that after shifting here she will have some peace but she was wrong. Mikaeel's memories don't let her breathe properly. One part of her craves to see him while another part just despises him. She can't go back to him nor she can forget him. It's not easy to forget the first love.

It's not easy to forget what happened recently. His lies about Maryam and then the baby thing just make her situation worse. She feels her body trembling, heart-shattering into million pieces whenever she thinks that Mikaeel has a daughter. She feels to destroy everything wherever she thinks that Mikaeel slept with Maryam.

Aurin wants to believe in Mikaeel's words but he has lied to her so much that she isn't finding any courage to trust him again. She fears that another lie of his will come out if she believes in him again. She is scared to be heartbroken again.

" Why Mikaeel?" Aurin questioned and after getting no answer she continued shedding tears.

She was still shedding tears silently when someone rang the doorbell. She wasn't in the mood to open the door but the person continued ringing the doorbell. Having an annoyed expression Aurin walked towards the door and opened it.

" You!! How did you find my address?" Aurin let out frowning her brows.

Mikaeel entered the apartment pushing away Aurin slightly. Then, he shut the door and dragged her towards the couch. He made her sit on it and kneeled in front of her.

" I even follow your shadow so it's not difficult for me to find your address," Mikaeel answered looking deep into her eyes.

Aurin looked at him with questioning yet concerned eyes. Looking at the bruises on his face she felt extremely guilty. She wanted to ask about his well-being but due to anger and frustration, she didn't bother to ask anything.

For a good few seconds, they both kept their eyes on themselves. Both of them understood how much they are suffering without each other. Though Aurin realized that Mikaeel is suffering just like her, she forced her to not bother at all. Why would she bother for a betrayer?

" Wifey, I know you are tired of hearing the same thing again and again. But, what can I do? I have no evidence to prove my innocence otherwise I would have.................." Mikaeel stopped in the middle and looked down.

Holding her hands tightly he said with helpless eyes," Look at my eyes, wifey. Looking at my eyes, say that I betrayed you. Say it."

Aurin remained silent when Mikaeel said," You can't. Because deep down inside your heart you also know that I am innocent. I admit that I lied to you. But, I explained to you why I lied. But, I swear I didn't cheat on you."

" I was......I can't even pronounce this word. I was a victim," Mikaeel uttered letting out a long sigh.

Remaining silent for a few seconds Aurin answered crying," How can I make you understand my feelings, Mikaeel? I don't know. Whenever I thought that another woman touched you and even made a baby with you. I feel nausea. My whole body trembles. My mind stops working. What can I do? And, your lies..........."

" It was a crime committed by her. Why would I suffer because of the sin I never committed? Try to understand, please," Mikaeel literally begged joining his hands in front of Aurin.

She also joined her hands in front of Mikaeel and requested bitterly," I beg you, Mikaeel. Sign the divorce papers and free me from everything. I am suffocating by all these. No matter how much I try to forget everything I can't. Let me breathe in peace. Please."

" Don't you love me anymore? How easily you told me to divorce you! Is our love that weak?" Mikaeel asked controlling his emotions.

Aurin answered shedding tears," If you have even a single ounce of love for me then sign the paper. Every time love isn't enough for a relationship. You have broken my trust Mikaeel. Trust is the base of a relationship and you have broken it. Nothing can mend it now. Nothing!"

" So, it's a request. Leave me alone. Leave your wifey if you want to see her happy. It's my one last little wish. Please, fulfil it," Aurin pleaded crying and her lips quivered while uttering those words.

Mikaeel couldn't tolerate all these anymore and stood up angrily. Out of frustration, he pulled his hair backwards and then let out a frustrated growl. Rubbing his face he kicked the nearby chair angrily.

" You woman species is a selfish species! Except yourself, you guys can not think about others. First, that woman played with my feelings, left me and then took advantage of my unconscious state. And, you!! Even after my apologies and beggings, you are not ready to hear me out. I was a victim. Instead of supporting me, you chose to abandon me. Both of you just abandoned me. None of you cared about my feelings," Mikaeel growled breaking the mirror with a flower vase.

Aurin trembled by the sudden sound when Mikaeel grabbed her shoulder and screamed at her face," Are you sure you will be happy if I leave you?"

" Yes," Aurin answered hardening her voice.

Letting out a painful laughter Mikaeel said," How easily you told me that you will be happy!! You have no time for think about me. At least, you can cry and show your emotions but I can't even do that."

" Your happiness is my only priority. If you think that the divorce will bring happiness in your life then so be it," Mikaeel declared and stormed outside the apartment.

Mikaeel's friend Simon was in his office and doing some work on his laptop. He was engrossed in his work when Walid entered his office without knocking. Simon was startled by the sudden presence and looked at Walid with questioning eyes.

Before he could ask anything Walid grabbed Simon's collar and shouted," Today you will tell me the secret behind your sudden success."

" What are you even saying, Walid?" Simon questioned back sounding unknown.

Walid snapped at him," You and I do the same type of business. Our net worth was the same but suddenly how did you start having so much wealth. You opened branches of your companies worldwide while a few days ago nobody even acknowledged your company's existence. What are you hiding Simon?"

" Nothing. Everything is the result of my hard work," Simon answered stealing glances from Walid.

Walid inquired grabbing his collar," Hard work or Maryam is behind everything. Would you enlighten me why she gave you ** millions along with one of her branches?"

Simon was taken aback by Walid's questions. He tried to avoid Walid's questions but Walid wasn't in the mood to hear anything. Walid continued interrogating him like a CBI officer.

" Ok. Ok. I am telling the truth. Maryam helped me to be successful," Simon confessed and finally, Walid left his collars.

Taking a breath Simon started saying," I was struggling to handle the drastic losses in my business when Maryam appeared in front of me like a saviour. She told me that she will help if I help her out."

" Help?" Walid questioned confusingly.

Simon answered," I never knew Maryam's actual motive but she told me to arrange a get-together and invite everyone. Specifically, she told me to invite Mikaeel."

" Once Mikaeel arrived at the party he was served alcohol. In this alcohol, there was a medicine mixed. Maryam instructed me to mix it," Simon continued saying.

Walid asked in disbelief," That means you and Maryam drugged Mikaeel that night? Why would she do that?"

Simon replied nodding his head," No, it wasn't any harmful drug. It was medicine. I didn't know what kind of medicine was that. She promised me millions if I do her work and having no other choices I obliged her."

" And, then you let that woman rape me. Right, Simon?" Mikaeel's voice echoed through the whole room like a thunderstorm.

Walid & Simon looked behind and seeing Mikaeel Simon almost peed in his pant. Before he could even say anything Mikaeel marched toward Simon like a raging bull. A punch landed on Simon's face and he fell on the floor.

Straddling over Simon, Mikaeel continued punching Simon like a mad man. Simon's nose started bleeding profusely and seeing all these Walid approached to stop Mikaeel. But, Mikaeel pushed him away and continued punching Simon.

Mikaeel was disturbed about everything so to soothe his mind he came to meet his friend. He came here to share his problems with them but he never imagined that after coming here she will get to know a bitter truth.

" I thought you are my friend, you bastard!!!" Mikaeel screamed fuming with anger.

Simon uttered with great difficulty," Listen....to.....me....Miki.........."

" What's left to listen? You helped that bitch to quench her desires for my body. You let her rape me and now I am on the verge of losing my wife!!" Mikaeel lashed at Simon.

Then, Mikaeel shouted punching Simon," You and that pathetic shameless woman are responsible for my sufferings!! You are a shame in the name of a friend. I won't spare you, bastard. Just wait & watch what I do to you, your business and everything!!"

Saying that Mikaeel strangled Simon when he uttered with difficulty," You....are......mis....understanding.........

Maryam......didn't rape..........you. ......... She didn't even touch.......you...................."
