Chapter 56: Chapter 56
"Come on; give me that fierce look!" The photographer shouted and I gave him what he wanted. I was the one who did the solo shoot first out of all the twelve models in there. People were watching as I moved my body around and do some fierce and hot poses. I was wearing a two-piece black bikini which covered only a few skins on my body. I was hesitant about wearing them at first but when I saw my reflection in the mirror, I was satisfied and I am proud of how my body looks like. I gave the photographer whatever he wanted and didn't mind the people around. Actually, when I am doing a shoot, I wouldn't really get nervous with the people around and that is why I can achieve the best poses there is. I am here to do my job and modeling is a piece of cake for me since I have been doing this for quite a while now. It has and will always be my passion.
After a couple more shots, the photographer said that I am done with my solo shots and I can rest for a while before we shot the duo since everyone still has to their solo shots too. I went to the side and was about to get my white cover-up which I left near my bodyguards when someone took them first. I looked up and saw that it was Drake who took it.
"Nice shots," He said and smiled at me. "Here," He handed me the cover-up and I accepted it.
"Thanks," I said. I didn't know if he was just being friendly or if he has other intentions.
"Dulce was right," He said. "You really are a pro when it comes to things like this."
"Nah, I just got used to doing this since I have been in this industry for quite a while now," I said.
"I hope I can be as good as you too someday," He said to me. Is this man hitting on me even though he already knew that I was married? Oh well, my marriage was fake but he didn't know that for sure.
I only nodded and didn't say another word. If he is planning on hitting on me then I won't give him the idea that he has a chance. Even if my marriage with Wade isn't real, I wouldn't jump into him that easily. I am still married in the eyes of the people. Plus, I don't know if I could still be involved in someone else after what happened. It was a scary experience and it made me have doubts about love and people's intentions and I must also admit; I am not yet over him. I haven't fully moved on yet.
After almost two hours of waiting, I was finally called for the duo shots wherein as I already know, I will be paired with Drake. I walked towards the spot where we will be taken shots and Drake was already there. He was wearing a board short only while I was already into a two-piece animal print high waist bikini. It was one of the most daring bikinis that I have ever worn in my entire life.
"Move closer!" The photographer said and so we moved closer towards each other. "Miss, hold the guy's arm as he touched your face and looked at each other straight in the eyes. Give me some emotions!"
I turned to Drake and he was smiling at me. "We can do this!" He said and held my face gently. I was hesitant at first but I slowly put my hand on his arm and looked at him. I didn't know what I was feeling; whether I was nervous or uncomfortable but I thought more of the latter. I don't really do this type of shots and it felt awkward especially that Drake looked like he has some hidden agendas.
"You looked nervous." He said as he shifted his hand and moved it a bit higher on my cheeks.
"I'm not," I said. "Let's just get this over with."
"You're in a hurry huh," He said.
I didn't say a word and just let it be.
"Alright, eyes here," The photographer shouted and we turned to him. "Seduce the camera as if you're seducing everyone around."
I did as he said and looked at the camera but something or someone caught my eye. What is he doing here? Why is Wade looking as dashing as he stands there while looking at me?
"What is he doing here?" I murmured.
"Who?" Drake said and turned to me.
"Eyes here!" The photographer said and Drake turned his attention back to him.
"Who's here?" Drake said softly while still looking at the camera.
"No one," I whispered. Wade was looking at me while his brows were furrowed as if he doesn't like what he was seeing.
"Eyes here!" The photographer said again. "Alright, for the last shoot, I want you Drake to carry her in a bridal style as if you were enjoying the waters. I looked at Wade and he was more annoyed this time. What is his problem? He doesn't even have to be here.
"Alright, come on; I'll carry you," Drake said. I nodded and he scooped me up in a bridal style just like what the photographer wanted. He has a good body built and muscles in the right places so I was sure that he could carry me as light as the cotton.
"Are you alright?" He asked me. Our faces were just inches away from each other.
"I'm fine; I should be the one asking you that," I said.
"Nah, you're just as light as a feather; don't worry about me." He said. "I can even do this whole day as long as it's you."
"Oh shut up," I said and shook my head.
"Your husband is here; was he the one you meant earlier?" He said.
"Y-yeah," I said.
"You looked nervous, is that because of him?" He said. "So, the professional model has a weakness too."
"I don't know what you're saying," I said but I thought of what he said. He was right though; I am nervous and I just figured out that it was because of him. Every time he's around, I felt uneasy and cautious. It was like even just his mere presence is affecting me so much.
"Alright! You two are done!" The photographer said. "You can now go and rest for tomorrow's group shots."
I sighed. Drake was still carrying me and looked like have no plans on putting me down.
"Can you put me down now?" I said.
"Oh, my bad," He said with a smirk. "Anyway, your husband is jealous; he looked like he's about to rip me into pieces."
"What do you mean?" I said.
"Nah, you're tense," He said and shook his head.
I didn't get what he said so I just turned my back on him and went to get my cover-up. It was beside Wade and I was looking at him as I approached him. He took my cover0up and handed it to me.
"Are you done?" He said.
I nodded. "What are you doing here?" I said.
"Mr. Harris?" The photographer said. "You are Wade Harris, right?"
"Yes," Wade said. "Yes, I am, what can I do for you?"
"I'm a fan," He said. "Are you going to model one of the pieces here?"
Wade shook his head and turned to me. "I'm just here for my wife." He said.
"She's your wife?" The photographer said. "Oh, I didn't know,"
"Yeah," Wade said. "Is she done here? Can we go now?"
"Of course, she's done for the day." He said.
"Alright, thanks," Wade said. He held my hand and pulled me out of there.
