Chapter 25: Chapter 25

I woke up feeling a little heavier than usual. I looked at the window and saw that it was daytime already. The sun was up and hot. I looked beside me and no one was there. I tried remembering what happened last night. My eyes grew wider when I realized what I did. I gave it to him. I gave up my virginity for my pretend husband. I touched my forehead and groaned. What is wrong with me? I know I wasn't very drunk and I still have my rightful mind last night. I gave it to him without reservations and I didn't regret it. I pulled my blanket over and saw that I am already wearing Wade's shirt. Did he dressed me up last night? Before I could answer my own thoughts, the door opened and I saw Wade carrying a tray of food in his hands.

"Hey," He said hoarsely. "Morning,"

"Morning," I said weakly. He was only wearing a sleeveless shirt and boxer shorts. Damn! He is so hot.

"I cooked breakfast. Do you want to eat now or do you want to do your thing first?" He said.

"Do my thing?" I said. What does he mean by that?

"Yeah, I mean, shower, get dressed or whatever you do in the morning." He said.

"Oh yeah," I said awkwardly. "I'll just shower."

"Alright, I'll wait here." He said. "Do you want some hot choco?"

"Yeah, that sounds good." I said.

"Alright, I'll get some for you." He said. "Can you take a quick shower only? The food might get cold."

I nodded and went to get some clothes and headed straight to the bathroom. I felt pain on between my thigh but it was bearable. I turned the shower on and just like he said, I took a quick shower. I changed into my usual clothes and when I was done. I looked at the mirror and stared at myself longer than usual. I liked what happened. I wouldn't trade it for any other first time. I realized now why I would always think of him. I found the answers to all my questions saying why do I get hurt when someone catches his attention. I think that if I say I like him, it would be an understatement. I have fallen for him and that's why things have been strange. I sighed and brushed my hair. I don't know if Wade likes me or what but I do know that he is something special to me. I just wished we feel the same way and that he likes me as well.

I went out of the bathroom and saw him sitting on the bed. He was holding his phone and looked like he just talked to someone. I cleared my throat and got his attention.

"Are you done? Let's eat." He said and prepared the foods on our room table.

"Yeah," I said.

"I ordered your favorites." He said. "I have no idea what you wanted for breakfast so I ordered a lot."

"Thanks," I said.

We started eating in silence. It felt awkward and I knew sooner or later, we are going to talk about what happened last night. I don't know what I am going to say to him so I just kept quiet and let it be. It felt awkward but I just acted cool and ate quietly.

"Did you like it?" He said when we were done eating. He was drinking his coffee and I was sipping on my hot chocolate.

"Yeah, I did. Thanks," I said.

"Look, Cam, about last night-" He said but I cut him off. I didn't want to ruin the moment and talked about it now. What if he says something that I don't like? It would ruin my world. I love him and I was hoping that he loves me too but what if he doesn't? That would surely kill my mood.

"No, I don't want to talk about it right now." I said. "Can we not talk about it?

"No, we have to talk about it right now." He said. "Look, I knew you were drunk and I shouldn't have done that and I'm sorry."

"I was drunk, yes, but I knew what I was doing and I am not sorry for what happened." I said bravely. "It's okay if you didn't liked it and you feel sorry for it."

"No, that's not what I meant. I liked everything that happened last night. I was just sorry that it had to happen that way." He said.

"What do you mean by that?" I said.

"Isn't it obvious? I liked you and that is why I did what I did last night. I couldn't control myself " He said. "I like you, Cami. No, I love you."

My heart literally skipped a beat with what he just said. He loves me! I only wished to hear it frim him but it came true. My wish came true.

"Hey are you just going to stare at me and not say a thing?" He said.

"No, I-I was just shocked. You love me?" I said.

"Yes," He said and laughed.

"I can't believe it," I said.

"Why?" He said.

"I love you too, Wade, I loved you even before this happened." I said.

He hugged me tight and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and feel his embrace.

"I can't believe you just said you love me," He said.

"I can't believe you said you love me, too." I said and smiled. I was happy and he was too.

"Are we like, officially together?" He said.

"Yeah, and we're married anyway." I said and laughed.

"No, this time, it's for real and serious." He said.

"Then I guess, it's for real." I said.

He kissed me and I kissed him back. He deepened his kisses and I kissed back with the same intensity.
