—A New Hope for Ariana

The year 2021

Argus went near the window to check who was screaming outside his mansion. He peeps through his window and his eyes widened when he found who was looking for Ariana. Why were his cousin Railey and his friend Jerick are with Anika's people who want Ariana to die?

"Argus, if you're hiding the traitor inside, please show her to us!" He heard his cousin Railey shouting at him.

He quickly went back to Ariana and told her to wait for him.

"Just keep quiet or else you'll die!" He said to Ariana.

Argus made his way upstairs to tell them that he didn't know where Ariana is. He must save her because it's the only way so that he can save Anika too.

He slowly opens the main door and all of them rush towards him. He stood there and waited for them like he knows nothing.

"What's going on? Who are you looking for!" he said Railey in his soft voice.

John who was Anika's best friend came forward while looking furiously at him.

" Hey, Mr. Mateo, I know you're keeping her here! Show her, the fake Anika! " he shouted at him.

Argus took a deep breath and crossed his arms in front of his chest. He crossed his eyebrows towards him.

" Why I will keep her? Is she my wife or something?" He told him.

"Cousin Railey, what brings you here?" I tried to calm my wolf because I can smell the greed inside their blood especially of him.

Railey sneered and pushed me outside and walked inside without my permission.

"Don't be rude Argus! How can an award Alpha lied to us that his body is not the true Luna of the Red Blood Packs!" He said and Argus lost his control.

His jaws tightened and his wolf was eager to come out because of anger and humiliation.

He quickly ran to trap his cousin inside his territory.

"How dare you trespass here? Wait, why are you involved with them and you Jerick, what the hell is going on?" He asked them and all the employees of Perez Hotel and Resort.

Jerick went inside too and hold his shoulders. He pressed it.

"Relax bro. I just want to save my ex-lover from danger. We don't know what she did to Anika. So, please we need her. Give her to us!" Jerick said while being cool.

Argus quickly shifted in his wolf form. His red eyes angrily glared at them and growled at them.

"Go away! She's not here. If you won't go out I will kill you all!" He roared at them.

Railey's eyes turned red too but managed to control his wolf. He let his canines appeared and grin at his cousin.

"Easy Argus. We just asking. Okay, we trust you but if we find out that you're lying, we won't hesitate to take you out from your throne!" He warned his cousin too and instructed them to go.

"We have eyes on you, Mr. Mateo!" John said before he followed them.

Argus followed them with his blazing red eyes and snarling sounds. He felt relieved when he saw them finally out of his sight. He went downstairs to check Ariana but she's gone.

"What the---" he cupped his head.

He quickly ran out of his mansion to look for Ariana. She thought Anika is the only stubborn girl he knew but Ariana was just like her.

"How can she disobey me?" He mumbled while running down the road.

He must find her first before they find her.

Ariana as Anika POV

My wolf heard what they're talking about upstairs. I decided to lie to Argus that I can't get away from his trapped but he's wrong. I had to play smart to save myself. After she escapes, she must see Denise. She's the only person who can help me. I thought John will help me because he's Anika's true friend. If he can't I need to find someone who had a great grudge against Anika. I will use her to protect mem I will get back to the company and if they tried to hunt and kill me again, I swear they will regret it. I have planned after this. I won't risk my life to stay here for so long just to get myself killed.

I saw a small window beside his basement. It's locked so I used my full force and it made a huge crack. I threw myself using my werewolf form.

She tossed herself outside and she gradually stumbled on the ground. She landed on her paws and slowly walked outside the gate where they were busy talking at Argus.

She ran away to go back to Anika's mansion. She saw Sebastian outside waiting for someone. She hides from afar. She was surprised to see Devorah and Sebastian meeting with each other. Sebastian followed her inside her car. It's odd. She thinks they already knew about her identity.

When she learned that they're gone, she quickly went inside the mansion. She saw Denise in the living room feeling preoccupied and tense. Her face brightened when she saw Ariana approaching her.

"Ma'am? I'm glad you're safe. Let's go inside your room. We'll talk." She said and I followed her.

She locked it.

They sat on her bed. Denise started the conversation.

"You're not safe here. They will kill you!" She warned Ariana.

Ariana knows it even Denise won't tell her.

"Why? They had no evidence that I am the fake one right?" She asked Denise.

Denise shook her head.

"They did. Jerick, Anika's ex confirmed it. He's still a pain even he broke her heart into pieces. He's evil. I hated my boss before but now I know why she acted this way, it's because of that guy!" She replied.

So Denise is not mad at Anika anymore. What will Ariana do? No one is on her side.

"So what will I do? Will you help them to kill me?" She asked with her trembling voice.

Denise shook her head again.

"No, but I can tell you how you will survive this! If this can help to get you back in your time and my boss too, I will help you!" Denise told her.

Ariana was intrigued who are those people who can help her.

Denise gives her a calling card. There's a name of a hospital and an address on it.

"Go there and look for Corazon Gables. I hope she can help you!" Denise said and Ariana accepted the card.

She checks it and it's not an address of a street or house, it's a place where mentally ill people are living there.

Ariana had no idea whom she's going to meet but she's hoping that she can be a big help for her.

She decided to go and not going to stay for one night at Anika's mansion because they might find out and she can't make it to survive.

She disguises herself in a man's dress and looks for a person named Corazon. She stumbled into the Heartifilia Asylum.

" Excuse me, I am looking for Corazon Gables. Is she staying here?" She asked the receptionist who was busy playing on her cellphone.

Ariana felt impatient when she's not even giving her attention.

"Hey, are you deft!" She adds volume to her voice.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't notice you, ma'am. What did you say again? Pardon me!" She told her.

Ariana tried to calm her anger.

"I said is Corazon Gables here?" Ariana said again.

" Oh, yes! Are you her family? I'm so thrilled if you are since no one dare to visit her here." She was surprised.

Ariana just nods her head.

"I am her relatives. I came from overseas." She replied.

The blonde old receptionist who's a cellphone addict, gazes at her intensely.

"I thought you're her daughter. You look exactly like her even she's old now!" The old receptionist mumbled and Ariana doesn't know what to expect.
