Argus POV
Finally, the meeting is over and I still have one hour to fix my things and myself to attend my cousin's Railey awards night party.
I never thought that the Blue Moon Packs would perform this kind of feminine event for all the Alphas. Well, in my packs, the Lycan Packs, we prefer to stay low even we are the most stronger and influential among all the pack's hierarchy.
Well, tonight is my first experience attending the pack's party for my whole life. To have a zero luna in my side, I was like an Alpha without balls. I'm didn't care about it either because I now found the apple of my eye.
I smirk when I recalled again what happened inside the elevator. I can't forget her soft and sweet lips touching mine. I almost throw my phone when I bump into someone.
"Holy, mother nature!" Ariana gasps in the air and lost her balance.
Like a night and shining armor, with my adrenaline rush, I captured her in my arms, and our eyes met. I felt a strong attraction between us when my skin clashed with her softness. It's like my manhood inside me awakens.
"I'm so sorry. I don't know you were coming!" I apologize to her after we both regained ourselves.
I saw her turned into a soft lady again. She turned her head to ignore my gaze at her. She's becoming weird again like every time we met, she's changing like there is someone inside her who isn't her real soul. I'm getting confused this time.
At last, she replied.
"I'm okay. May I?" She said while waiting for me to offer her space.
I promptly sway my hands on my side.
"Your off to go, pretty lady" I whispered sweetly.
I wanted to stop her but my mind told me not to meddle with her life. I shook my head to erase her tempted lips into my thoughts. I must go quickly to the party. I'll be dead to my cousin Railey if I didn't attend to his invitation.
Railey Mateo, the Alpha of the Blue Moon Packs. His father Calyx was my dad's older brother, my uncle who never failed to help my packs in times of danger but unfortunately, he died too during the war between the savage Rogues with the leadership of their Alpha Tore.
It's been a year since they accepted Lycans like us during the awards night. Railey, the admin of the said event is Lycans himself but at the party, werewolves, rogues, and lycans are invited. They had to be friends in just one night to heard someone's voices about invading territories, the rules to follow to maintain harmony in the human world. Wolves and body shifters wolves are known to be notoriously cruel and human eater a time ago but when Alpha Raxin, my father became the head of Moon Packs, there is equilibrium in the whole world.

Anika PoV as Ariana
I've been walking back and forth inside my room while biting my fingernails. I was nervous because thinking about the party, I got a phobia about it. It's still fresh in my memories how Dilan notice me and offered me a dance. It's nostalgic at first but when the night came of Amaya's death, it's the same night after the party that King Markus' accused me of killing her.
I just startled when Denise came in and saw me in this state.
"Hey, why are you still here? Aren't you attending?" She asked me when I was still in my work dress.
I took a deep breath and shifted my gaze at her. I don't know why I feel uncomfortable about attending their pack party. I felt guilty to think that I was the one doing it not the real Anika.
"I'm scared. I don't know the people there and besides, I'm not Anika Denise, I'm her impostor!" I explained my sides to her but Denise smiled and shook her head.
"No, Ariana, you're still Anika, remember, you are here in the past!" Denise tried to boost my self-esteem.
"I wonder how real Sangria is doing in the past?" Denise added but I can tell that she misses her boss.
I wanted to tell her that she's doing okay in the meantime and we see each other during our sleep with a magical genie giving us our task but I don't know if I can trust Denise. My time is almost up for our tasks. After tonight, I'll start searching for Anika's past lover and finish my first task.
I saw a favorable rosy tube gown laying in my bed. I'll wear this dress tonight for the sake of Anika.
"I'll go! Tell Sebastian to wait for me outside, please!" I'll mumble softly at her.
"Just be yourself and don't let anyone caught you, okay?" She winked at me.
"Challenge accepted!" I told her and she shut the door after that.
I took a quick bath and wear the red gown as my dress for the party tonight. After fitting it into my body, I turned around to check if I look like Anika. I'm glad to know that with the help of a makeover, my hair turned straight with an ebony shade, and her secretary Denise gave me a green contact lens to duplicate Anika's face and grace.
Seeing myself in the mirror-like a princess, I feel contented about myself somehow in this modern world. I don't know what I feel but I wish it would change because this is not normal. I am Ariana Ferrer and I have a husband Arem. I am a married woman in my time and now, I think I started to feel special when Argus lay his eyes on me. The way his lips tease mine, it's like heaven.
"Stop this! Stop Ariana, this is insane! I need to focus on the party tonight! Right, the party!" I said to myself.
As I walked downstairs, I saw Sebastian near the main door. He was waiting for me and the way he stares at me, I feel like he was stunned to see me like this. I blushed.
"Wow, you look fantastic, madam!" It's his first words as he saw me ambling to the main door.
I smiled at him with a little uneasiness to myself. In my whole life, people treated me like a tramp. My family sold me to the King and they didn't even care to visit me. No one ever tried to love me except Arem. I was lost in the wilderness while I was running from my attackers until I feel and found myself in this present time. Now, that I am here, I don't know but I enjoyed her a lot.
I guess I need to stay here longer. I need to slow down the mission. I won't be sleeping tonight.
I smirk as I hop inside the car.
