Chapter 96: Chapter 96

Roy sat in his office. After speaking to Edwin, he focused on his work. Once he was done, he relaxed back in his seat. Angela's face appeared in his mind and he held a soft smile. Quickly grabbing his phone, he dialed her number. As it rang, his smile grew wider. His love for Angela was love at first sight. The two weeks they had been together were a bliss for him.

Angie was seated in her office, performing her work. Due to the fact that she was very efficient, she always finished her work earlier than normal and she would start to do a part of the next day's work. Like she was doing now. Then her phone's ringtone broke the silence. From the special tune that played, she could already tell it was Roy. So a smile formed on her face already, before picking up the call.

"My angel." His voice ticked her ears, making her giggle shyly.

"Hi, babe." She replied.

"Ah. I have missed your voice. It feels like forever since I heard from you last."

Angela chuckled. "You spoke to me last night."

"That's a long time. Moreso, we haven't seen each other since forever!"

"Okay okay. So what do you want me to do right now?" She asked, leaning into her shoulder.

While they spoke, Jessica slipped into the office. She caught Angela's smile. Once Angie noticed her, she took an excuse from Roy and ended the call.

"Jess." She greeted her "How are you?"

Jessica smirked. "Look who's in love. You didn't even let me get to know the man, you already started dating him. You crook!"

Angela laughed at her jealousy. "Aw, I'm sorry babe. It's love, you can't control it."

Jessica nodded. She also couldn't control her love for Edwin. That was why she had unprotected sex with him, resulting in the two best gifts life gave to her.

"Hey, why don't you invite him over for the weekend? We could all just hang out." Jessica suggested.

"Are you okay with that?"

"Duh! I would want to see the person who got my bestie head over heels in love. You know, to make sure he isn't another Chris."

Angela stuck out her tongue. "He's not like that. He's very sweet and fun. He makes me happy."

"Chris made you happy too. Just be careful okay? I'm very happy that you're happy now. I just want you to be careful not to get heartbroken."

Angela hugged Jessica in response. "Thank you, baby girl. Thank you!"

Jessica nodded.

Angela quickly dialed Roy again.

"Hi, angel. Are you done now?"

"Yeah.. uhm, do you think you could come over for the weekend?" She asked.

"Your friend wouldn't mind?"

"Actually, she wants to see you. She wants to know who you are." Angela explained.

"Oh. Must be a very protective friend. Wow, the family sure loves you."

"What can I say? I'm so lovable!" Angela flipped her hair. The two of them laughed at her utterances.

"There's no issue then. I will definitely come around during the weekend. Thanks for inviting me."

"Heh. Silly you. Anyway, I have to get back to work now. Bye."

"Bye Angel, I love you."

"I love you too."

Dropping the call, she smiled even wider. Roy was such a sweet man. Chris had been sweet, but truly she never felt such love from him the way she feels from Roy. Sighing happily, she returned her attention to Jessica. Jessica held a mocking smile on her face. Seeing Angela act all lovely was funny and without suppressing it, she burst into laughter.

"Get out!" Angela frowned. She also wanted to laugh, but she wouldn't allow Jessica to know that. "What'd you come for anyway?"

Jessica finally stopped laughing. She remembered her reason for being there.

"So uh, I came to actually discuss something important with you."

"Okay," Angela said, inching closer to her. "Shoot."

"You know how I changed the presentation documents of the Turners and the Reids?"

Angela nodded. "Yeah, that was very cool. I watched the Turners' presentation. I felt bad for them." Then she laughed. Jessica laughed as well.

"Well, I want to take my next step of revenge on the Reid family," Jessica said slowly.

"That's good. I think a week of peace is already enough time for them. It's time to give them something they do not expect coming."

"Yeah." Jessica agreed. "Something that's just as evil as the thoughts they have for other innocent people, or maybe even worse."

"Do you have something in your mind? Or do you need suggestions?"

"Actually, I do have something in mind. I want to get the names of their shareholders and leak it to the media."

Angela whistled lowly, moving her gaze around the room. Jessica was always a step ahead in everything.

"Girl, that's just sick! How did you even come up with that?"

"Is it too much? Jessica asked, feeling unsure all of a sudden.

"No, it's perfect! When are you going to do it?"

"Tonight."

"That's perfect then. Like they would wake up tomorrow morning to the greatest shock of their lives. Then maybe they would learn to not stick their hands into people's business."

"Yeah. Thanks, babe. You're like the bestest best friend ever."

"Only." Angela smiled. They shared a hug, and Jessica left. She returned to her office.

She had to set her plans in motion. She was going to get their names and keep them down. At midnight, she would upload them on social media, and sell them off too with an anonymous account to other smaller media companies.

Tomorrow morning, the Reids would have the greatest shock of their lives.

She got the names ready. After sending her kids to sleep, she began to make contacts with the smaller media companies with different anonymous accounts. She sold it to them. Although she didn't need their money, she was going to do it just to bring the Reids down.

Once she had sold it to them, she also uploaded it with an untraceable account. Everything was settled. Jessica went to bed with a content smile on her face.
