By the time the witch teleported us back to the packhouse and into Damien's room I was horny as hell, and poor Damien his trying his best but it just wasn't enough.

"Mara tomorrow is your 18th birthday right," He asked.

Why does he have to bring that up now?.

"Yes Damien I'm on"I moan trying to pull him closer, he pull me closer to his body making

violet purr in the process and as for me I moaned.

"Then let wait for tomorrow...you're simply not ready now, "He told me.

I glare at him.

"Of course am ready! Can't you see that"I yelled?

He just chuckles and pulls me closer, he murmured something into my ear making me feel sleep suddenly.

The witch must and Damien must have done something but anyways I knew Damien was right.

I am not ready for this.

Janiel is dead, should I tell him that? Oh, I will tomorrow morning that was my last thought before finally closing my eyes.

"You look so worried and sad what's wrong," Liam asked as I slum down on one of the Sofas in his room, I cannot bear to be in the same room with Mara without having to tell her the truth.

I cannot lie to her, I hate lies and am not going to lie about her Granny what if she wakes up and ask me where she is?

What am I going to tell her then? Her granny's death is going to break her am afraid I will lose her what if she blames me and left?

She might think am a loser that I cannot even save her grandmother from the vampire king.

To be honest, I should have to get there earlier everything was my fault if you come to think of it and I cannot hear her say those words but what am I going to do?

"Down to earth Damien" Liam snaps his fingers in front of my face bringing me back to the present.

"Oh sorry just figuring how to tell Mara about her granny's death" I sigh.

"She's a sensible girl am sure she would understand it not your fault the same way she understands you being a werewolf"Liam explained.

"Yeah but they are different are talking about her grandmother here, I can't just tell her like

that and even if I want to I will tell her after her birthday"

"She will want her to be there" Liam pointed out.

"Yeah am going to make her an excuse, she should be happy on that day...the next few days to come will be very stressful, we have to find out where the Vampire king's hideout is"I look towards the entrance to see Allison rushing in.

Without giving me a chance, she jump on me and began to cry...oh I don't need this now.

She giggled "My mate didn't, am so happy to see you and Josh mark me"

Anyway, I have no say in that since he is her mate, but it's uncomfortable knowing your little sister is already doing shit.

"Why are you blushing"Liam raised an eyebrow.

I woke up only to see Tricia leaning towards me.

"What!"I yelled pushing her off me.

She laughed "I thought you'd never wake up, I got bored just watching you sleep"

"You know you don't have to"I glared at her.

"Damien asked me to"She smirked.

"Whatever which remained me...where Is he? I have to ask him if Granny is alright I cannot wait to tell her all the stuff that happened and am going to move her move here!"I yelled excitedly.

Tricia suddenly looks uncomfortable.

"Are you okay" I had to ask.

"Am just so excited about your birthday I'm on it time for your birthday shopping"

"Really!"I beamed.

"Sure get ready am going to wait for you," Tricia said as I hurried to the bathroom.

"Looks like someone is getting old"Violet said, as I pull my clothes and stare at myself in the bathroom mirror.

"Shut up am only 18"I grumbled.

I look different in a good way and I know nothing could ruin this for me.

Granny must be baking me my birthday cake like she always does.

I did my business get changed when Damien walk into the room.

"I will wait for you outside" She winked and walk away.

"Damien!"I jump on him hugging him.

He smile and hug me back then pull away "Tell me are you happy," He asked.

"Of course am happy! Am going to be 18 tomorrow and where's granny "He tenses up but quickly smiles.

"She's fine don't worry too much" Before I could utter any words.

He pull me closer again and kiss him, soon I got distracted and forgot about everything else.
