Chapter 73: Chapter 73

Monday morning I got up early to prepare. I skipped my morning run to make breakfast, I made lots of fluffy pancakes for everyone. By the time Hannah and her staff came to the kitchen, I was filling the coffee maker with dried coffee powder.

"Miss Udofia, you shouldn't be making breakfast," Hannah said to me

"oh good morning Hannah, I'm done making breakfast already. I made pancakes and coffee will be ready soon," I said smiling

"really? I love your pancakes, I've missed them," she said

Natalie and Elizabeth helped me set the table, I went to Juliet's room to call her, I'd never felt this nervous.

"Pumpkin? can I come in?" I asked knocking on the door to her room

she opened the door with toothbrush in her mouth. "hey good morning, I made breakfast, please come join us,"

she held out a finger and went into her room, she came back few seconds later "us?" she asked

"yeah, daddy and I," I said

"is he now eating with you?" she asked

"yeah, we made up. Everything is fine now baby," I said to her

"what did you make?"

"pancakes..."

"awesome, I'll be downstairs in 5," she said and dashed into her room. I really do make amazing pancakes around here, I thought smiling.

I was going downstairs when I met Jade, he was working out in the gym because it was snowing outside, he was sweating profusely and his gym shirt stuck on his skin. "good morning honey," I greeted

"morning baby," he answered

"I made breakfast, go shower and quickly come downstairs,"

"did you say pancakes? please permit me to skip the shower before eating" he begged

"absolutely not, go now and take a shower, Juliet and I will be waiting for you," I said

When I got to the dinning room, Juliet had already started eating. she gave me a guilty look, "I couldn't help myself," she said

After a hearty breakfast, I went to my room to get ready for school and as usual, Natalie had laid out two sets of outfits for me to choose, "no Natalie, sorry but I'm not wearing either of these. I am in such a good mood today, I wanna wear something that matches with my mood," I said and went through my closet. For two years now, I'd accumulated so many clothes and accessories that Jade had to build a walk-in closet for me. I took out a lilac mini skirt, a long sleeved silver crop top, black knee high shoes, a two in one silver velvet choker, a pair of round earrings (the size of a bangle) and a black Fendi handbag.

"I'm wearing these," I said to Natalie as I placed my outfit on the bed

‘‘Then what are we waiting for? Let's get you ready for school’’ she said.

‘‘mommy, you're gonna take me to school right?’’ Juliet asked as I was about leaving. I checked the time on my wrist watch, 7.13am I could still meet up with my 8 o'clock class if I dropped her in school, I thought to myself, "alright, grab your stuff let's go," I said to her

From Juliet's school, I told Max to use a shortcut so that I could meet up with my class. Ariel had stopped waiting for me in front of the department building since the Jade/Blake episode, she said that I didn't really pay attention to her and she was right, I wasn't myself those three months that Jade "hated" me.

"someone looks happy today," she said as I got to my seat, "I assume all is well with you and Jade?"

"yeah, we're back together, not that we broke up. but everything is fine now," I said I said smiling

"I'm really happy, you know this is exactly what happens in romantic novels I read. The guy and the girl would go through 5 stages in their love lives. The unattractive stage, the friendship stage, the pre I love you stage, the great fight stage, the reunion stage and finally the happily ever after stage. Right now you and Jade are in the reunion stage," Ariel said

‘‘don't be silly A, those things happen in movies and novels not in real life’’ I said to her

‘‘maybe, maybe not. Don't you wish it would happen that way?” she asked

Yes Ariel, I hope and wish and pray that it would happen that way, I said in my mind.‘‘Please, stop talking nonsense’’ I said to her.

Throughout that day in school, I was happy and keeping a smiling face, even one of my lectures noticed and made a comment about it in class, "so UK actually smiles when she's not in front of the camera, no offense but I never thought you smile in real life," he said.

At home, Jade and I were all lovey dovey, maybe Ariel was right. Maybe Jade and I are actually in the reunion stage, maybe everything would turn out to be like the romantic movies Ariel was. If that is the case then Jade and I have overcome the great fight stage and would be moving to the happily ever after stage. Everything turned out to be perfect in my mind, if only I could predict the future, I wouldn't have been too happy because what just happened was nothing compared to what came in future.

School closed for two weeks winter break, we spent a lot of time shopping and getting ready for Christmas. this year's Christmas would be special because Leila and Jade's mother were joining us, not only Tiffany, i was a bit worried of what "special gift" Jade's mother said she was giving Jade, the last one she gave him almost cost my life.

Two days to Christmas, Jade's mother arrived with Tiffany and Leila, I couldn't tell the difference between Leila and Tiffany when I saw them and to make matter worse, they dressed the same way. If not that Tiffany came and hugged me, calling me "sister-in-law" I would not have known who was Tiffany and who was Leila. Jade's mother didn't really say much to me but when she did, she was friendly. Leila was a chatterbox, Jade lied when he said she was the quiet type, she was worst than Tiffany and Juliet combined together.

Two weeks passed away too quickly and I was back to the hustle and bustle of school life. I just completed the shoot for "Tone and Glow" the skin care products advert and I was on my way home, I was so tired and sore that all I needed was to take a quick shower and snuggle up in my blanket. our first semester exams was in a week and I really needed to focus on it, my continuous assessment results were poor and I needed to make up for it with my exams so that I can at least have a B instead of a C. I'd lose my scholarship if I have up to two C's in my core courses. When I got home, everyone had fallen asleep, it's only few minutes to 8, why would they be asleep by this time? I thought. I took off my heels so that I don't make noise and went to my room, I went straight to the bathroom, took a shower, changed into something thick because of the weather and went to bed. As soon as I got in, someone hugged me from behind. I wanted to scream but I realized it was Jade. "God, you scared me," I said punching his arm

"I'm sorry baby," he said. "how was the shoot?" he asked

"it went well but I'm totally drained," I said to him

"do not worry baby, I'll make you feel better," he said coming closer

"honey please, I need to sleep," I said stopping him from doing anything else

"but..."

"please, maybe some other time. By that time I'll be eager and ready for you," I said

"of course, good night," he said and gave me a peck on the cheek.

morning came and breakfast in bed by Jade awaited me, "someone woke up well today" I said

"it's nothing much, I just want you to have a lot to eat, I'm getting you ready for tonight, it's gonna be epic. I have made all the arrangements," he said

"what arrangements? and what is going on tonight?" I asked

"a heated time, all parts of the house, all the positions you can come up with," waggling his brows

"I'm sorry Jade, it won't be possible, I have plans with Ariel tonight. in fact I'm sleeping over at her place, we have a group assignment to submit tomorrow morning, I and three other course mates are coming over to work on it," I said

His countenance changed when I told him that.

"can't you skip it?" he asked

"I wish, I also have a make up test tomorrow and I need prepare for it, I'm sorry but I really need all the extra credits I can gather, or else I'm at the risk of losing my scholarship," I told him

"I don't care about the scholarship, I am willing to pay your fees if it comes to that," he said

Throughout that morning, he looked upset, I just wish he'll understand.

A day to my exams, I skipped school to revise at home. Juliet had gone to school, Hannah and Elizabeth went for shopping, Sandra went home and Natalie went on an errand for Jade. leaving Jade and I alone at home.

my earphones were on and I had my back to the door of the room when he came in, I was startled when he touched me.

"please Jade, I'm reading," I told him

"just a quickie," he begged

"I'm sorry honey but I won't be having sex until I'm done with my exams," I told him

"you mean I have to wait for two more weeks before we can get together?" he asked looking horrified

"please bear with me," I told him

"bear with you? for how long? it's been more than 6 months UK, you have deprived me of yourself for more than 6 months, I can't bear it anymore. please just come to me UK, don't torture me anymore," he said covering my breasts with his palms. I tried to push him away but he didn't move away. He squeezed them and I yelped

"please UK, help me get rid of this hard on," he whispered and nibbled on my ear but it didn't move me

"I am not in the mood honey," I said

" we'll be quick," he said but I shook my head

"please stop Jade, I don't want to do this," I begged but he won't hear, instead he lifted me irrespective of my resistance and threw me forcefully on the bed.

He held my buttons down dress and ripped it with force, making the buttons fly in the room "Jade stop it please, you've ruined my dress," I cried

"shhhh, I'll get you another one," he said and tried to kiss me but I pushed his head away. He used one hand to pin my two hands over my head,

"Jade please stop," I begged thrashing and trying my best to move him away but he was stronger than me. He pinched my breast and I screamed out in pain. With his free hand, he tore my panties and undid his fly, seeing what he was about to do, I cried out begging him. One forceful thrust and I screamed at the top of my voice.
