That sex was a doorway to a blissful love life for Jade and I and amazing things for me.

To the public, we were just friends but to people who knew about us, we were the most beautiful couple. School was less stressful for me, I got 5 more jobs after Emy's fashion show. Two were modelling for skin products and jewelries respectively, two were acting jobs in movies. I was a minor character in both movies but it was fantastic, as for the other job, I signed a 2 years contract as an ambassador for a private flight company owned by one of Jade's close friends. Jade and I were so close that I feared if he proposed to me at that moment, I'd say yes, the only thing that seemed like a problem in that 2 years with Jade was that he never said the three important words. It scared me if he actually had feelings for me or not, but I didn't push him or try to force it from him.

It was a sunny July afternoon, we were on summer break, I was having a terrible day because the place I went for a movie audition called, they were picking someone else for my role. I'd been crying for over 15 minutes since I received the news.

"come on honey, that's enough. You'll get another job," Jade said consoling me

"I don't want another job, I wanted this one. This would have been the first time I get an important role, I was supposed to be the antagonist in this movie. I would have been the second lead and for an upcoming actress like me, it was a great opportunity. How will I get this opportunity again?" I cried

"UK, you don't have to worry, I could link you up with some of my friends who are directors and movie producers, you could even be the main lead," Jade said

I shook my head, "it took me 3 months to memorize the lines of this role, and I was so excited when I found out that the director was not an ordinary person. His movies won best movie of the year award three years in a row, you don't know how I felt when he told me how much he admired my audition and that the role was for me. I feel so empty that he personally called to say that someone else had my role," I said tears streaming down my cheeks.

Jade hugged me, "then don't hold it anymore, release it out of your system," he said patting my back.

I closed my eyes and wailed, "why not me!"

I sat on the bed with my head on Jade's shoulder, My crying had subsided to hiccups and sniffs. Jade was patting my back and saying soothing words to me when my phone rang.

"I'll get it," he said and stretched out to get it on the night stand, "it's your sister UT," he said handing my phone to me.

I used the Hem of my dress to wipe my face, I didn't want UT to see me this way."hey sis!" I greeted smiling.

"I'll give you guys some alone time," Jade said turning to leave.

"is that Jade's voice I hear?" UT asked

"yes, he's leaving now," I told her. "call him back, I have great news for both of you," she said and I called Jade.

"In-law in-law, how body nah? How New York dey?" she asked. She has been teaching Jade pidgin English

"I dey kamkpe, heat dey for this side sotey fridge no fit cold," he replied and my sister bursted into laughter.

"okay, I have good news. Big sis and I are having a double wedding ceremony in 3 weeks and I want you, Jade and Juliet to attend," she said

my mouth dropped in shock

"oh my goodness!" Jade exclaimed.

"what? Aren't you guys happy?" my sister, UT asked

"That's not it, I'm very happy. my sisters are getting married on the same day, I've never been happier," I replied

"the wedding is in three weeks, when should we expect you?" she asked

"I'll try to be there as early as Thursday next week," I told her

"But you'll miss the Introduction on Wednesday," she cried

"UT, you have to understand, this is quite sudden and I need to start preparing, honestly I didn't think I'll come home till I'm done with school," I told her

"I understand, but you are our sister, you need to be here from the beginning to the end," she said

"And we will. Come Sunday morning, Juliet, UK and I will be in Nigeria," Jade said

"let me get this straight," I turned to Jade, "you... are... coming... to... Nigeria... with me?" I stammered

"yes. this is summer and I think it's about time I go on a vacation and what better way to spend my vacation than the wedding ceremony of my girlfriend's sisters, all the way in Nigeria." he replied.

"Thank you so much Jade," I said hugging him

"ahem! Guys I'm still here," UT said

"yeah, so we'll start making arrangements for the trip," Jade said to her

"fantastic, I'm so excited. Is there anyone else that will join? I'd like to know how to prepare things here," she said.

"we would get back to you, I need to know if any of my staff would accompany us," Jade said.

"alright, talk to you later. thank you so much Jade, you don't know how happy I am," UT said to him

"me too. bye bye," he replied

"bye UT, once again congratulations to the both of you," I said and the call ended.

"oh my God!!!! I can't believe this. My sisters are getting married on the same day, and I'm going home and you want to go with me, I don't care about the audition. today is one of the happiest day of my life," I said excitedly.

"Me too, I wanna know more about you on this trip. Not just that, I want to make you happy," Jade said.

"And you have, thank you so much Jade," I hugged him. You don't know how happy you've made me Jade, it makes me love you the more, I said in my mind.

"I can't wait to tell Juliet," I said and ran downstairs to the living room where I last saw Juliet

"pumpkin? mommy has great news for you," I said running to here, she was watching Cinderella with Natalie and Elizabeth. the movie was paused when I came in

"what is it mommy? come on tell me?" Juliet asked

"Mommy's sisters are getting married on the same day..."

"wow, that's fantastic," Juliet cut in

"that's not all, you, me and daddy are travelling to Nigeria on Sunday," I said

"no freaking way! We are going to meet your family, I am so excited mommy," Juliet said jumping in ecstasy.

"can I come too, Miss Udofia? I'd love to go to Nigeria," Natalie said

"Really? I'll just let Jade know about this," I told her.

That evening after dinner, Jade called everyone to the living room. Me, Juliet, Hannah, Elizabeth, Sandra, Natalie, Scott and Max.

"on Sunday we'd be leaving for a two weeks trip to Nigeria. All of you have worked so hard and I think y'all should take a vacation too, a check would be written to each of you whether you are staying or coming with us. so I'd like to know who is coming with us. let's start from you Hannah," Jade said

Hannah refused to come saying she needed to take care of the house, Max and Sandra wanted to spend time with their families, Elizabeth wanted to continue with evening school. At the end only Natalie and Scott were coming with us.

"alright people good night, tomorrow we start preparing," Jade said and we all dispersed. Jade and I went to  his room, "mommy?" Juliet eyed us. The following day I called my sister, UT, to let her know the number of people coming with me to Nigeria. Jade had gone to work, according to him he needed to officially tell "those old men in his company" that he won't be in town for sometime and to let them know who's in charge in his absence.

I went to Juliet's room to see what she was doing, "knock knock? Can I come in?" I asked tapping on the door lightly

"just who I wanted, come in Mommy," she said as she opened the door.

"Oh my word! was there a hurricane in your room?" I asked pointing at the heap of clothes and shoes scattered in the room.

"oh mommy what do I do? there are so many clothes to choose, which ones should I pack and which ones should I leave? I need your help!" she cried

"okay I will help you, but first you need tidy up this place. I can't do anything in this scattered room, so... get to work lady," I said to her

"But..."

"no buts, arrange the room and I'll help you pack. I'll be in my room, call me when you're done," I said leaving

"Alright, I'll do it," she said

"good," and I left the room.

I went into my room hearing my phone ringing, "hello ma, how are you doing?" I asked

"I am so happy, not only are my daughters getting married on the same day, my little baby is coming home. I will make all your favorite meal, make sure you don't eat anything so that you can finish all of them," my mother said.

"Oh ma, you know even if I eat all the food New York has to offer, I'd still finish up the food you made for me," I said to her

"so I heard you are not coming alone," she said

"yes, I hope it won't inconvenience anyone?" I asked

"no, no no. There is room for everyone, remember I told you we renovated the house. By the way how many people are coming with you?" she asked

"four people," I answered

"they are your friends?"

"more than that ma, they are family,"

"interesting. when are you guys arriving Lagos?" she asked

"Ma, well be coming straight to Akwa Ibom," I told her

"Really? I better start preparing. What are the genders of your friends?" she asked

"ma?"

"I'm not querying you or anything, I just want to know how to prepare," she said

"if you say so. There are two guys, a girl of my age and an eight year old girl," I told her

"wow, a complete family,"

"you can say that"

"mommy UK, I'm done tiding up my room," Juliet shouted.

"Alright ma, I gotta go," I said and the call ended.

I went to Juliet's room and together we chose the clothes she'll travel with.

The following day, Jade, Juliet and I went to shop for gifts for my family. For my father, we got him a Zenith wristwatch. A set of 3 in 1 Chanel handbag for my mother, shany makeup kits and a microwave oven for my eldest sister, a set of Tiffany and co. jewelry and  a blender for UT. A blender for my older brother and a PS4 gaming set for my younger brother.

We weren't able to get everything in one day, and so the following day, Jade and I got gifts for others. Hannah helped us in wrapping them up.

Saturday morning, we had finished packing everything we'd take in travelling. I was so excited that night, I couldn't sleep, after spending 2 years away from my family, the thought of see them the following day was so exhilarating.

As early as 7am, Jade's private jet, the one that brought me here, took us (Jade, Juliet, Scott, Natalie and I) over the Atlantic ocean to my hometown.
