19 please y"What do you mean you can't attend the party?" Ariel asked me

"I'll be too busy to attend," I answered

"you can't be too busy to attend this party UK, it's like the first party we would attend together," Ariel pressed

"It is actually the first party you will attend with her and she has something important to do," Xiao Ling said to Ariel.

"Hold on a sec, the party is starting 10pm and Emy said I should be at her place by 5. Ariel please the timetable when our last class on Friday would end," I said to Ariel and she took out her phone from her pocket.

"I didn't want to copy it on a book so I took a picture of it. So on Friday we have just 2 classes and the lasta one which is Survey on American English is from 11.30am to 1.30pm," Ariel said and put her phone back into her pocket.

"That's great, then I have about 2 hours to take a nap before going to Emy's place," I told them.

"I'll come wait for you at your place then we can go to the party together," Xiao Ling completed  "Perfect plan. Ling why don't the two of us go to UK's house together since you seem to know the way," Ariel said to Xiao Ling.

"Umm...why don't you go to the party, we would meet you there," Xiao Ling told her.

"Bu... but..."Ariel stammered

"I'll text you my address," I told him

"UK, how about him? you can't let them meet," Xiao Ling said

I looked at her confused, I didn't understand what she meant by I couldn't let them meet, not until she said, "boss" that it dawned on me what she meant. She was worried that if Ariel came to my house, she would see Jade and would definitely know that we are dating, which was bad because she could blab it to the entire school.

"Xiao Ling, there is no need for that. I may have just met Ariel but I feel I can trust her, am I right Ariel? Can I trust you to keep a secret?" I asked.

"of course, your secret is safe with me. For you to share your secret with me means that I am worthy of your trust, I won't give you a reason to distrust me," she said                                                                         "you better be telling the truth because if you share this secret with anyone and UK gets hurt, I will personally hunt you down and cut your tongue," Xiao Ling threatened

"Don't scare her Ling. But she is right Ariel, you could be in trouble if what I'm about to say leaks out of your mouth," I told her

"I cross my heart and hope to die, I won't tell anyone what you are about to tell me," Ariel said.

"very well then, Jaden Kale and I are dating," I told her and she gasped in surprise.

"Wait a minute, Jaden Kale as in Royale Fragrance Jaden Kale?"

"How many Jade Kale do you know?" I asked

"UK!!!! I can't believe this, you are so lucky, do you know how many people would kill to be in your shoes?"

"I hope you are not one of them,"

"I promise you that nobody would know of this, I'll take it with me to my grave if need be,"

"Thanks A, so now you can come to my house without me being afraid that the entire New York will know of my relationship status"

Thursday afternoon after class, I accompanied Xiao Ling and Ariel to the mall, I didn't get anything for myself because I had more than enough clothes and accessories which I haven't worn since I bought them. We parted ways after shopping, and I went home, Juliet was doing her homework when I got home, "Mommy UK, welcome back,"

"thanks pumpkin, have you had lunch yet?" I asked

"yeah, daddy bought takeout from DANIES PLACE" she replied

"really? is he home?" I asked

"mmm-hmmm, he's in his room."

I went upstairs, dropped my bag in my room and went to Jade's room, the door was wide open, and he was working on his laptop. I didn't go in immediately, I stood there admiring his him.                                                                                                              V     He wore a grey polo which stuck to his body like a second skin, showing the outline of his body, he'd pull the sleeves of the polo to his elbow "I'm still very handsome without my clothes on you know," his said with looking up.

"How did you know I was here?" I asked

"Starry Night Dream, no one uses the black Night Dream in this house except you. And I always know when you are nearby, my heart beats very fast when you are nearby," he said.

"So how was work today?" I asked

"I didn't go to work, I had something to do," he answered

"where?" I asked

"It's nothing, nevermind. So how are things going on at school?"

"Everything is fine, just that everyone keeps talking about tomorrow's party, we don't know how it would be though but I'm sure it'll be fun.

"And you still don't want to take Scott as your plus one, just for your protection,"

"I'll be fine, and besides Darren will be with us,"

"technically, he'll be with Xiao Ling"

"And Ariel is with me,"

"Of course, I still can't believe you told her about us and you are bringing her home," he said

"I've known Ariel for a week, she is a good person and besides, I only met Xiao Ling and Darren on the exams day but we because best friends that same day. Rest assure Ariel is to be trusted and if she does anything funny, I'll show her what happens in the torture room," I said and he laughed.

"come over here, I've missed you so much," he said and I went to him. He closed his laptop and made me sit on his lap with both my legs bent on the bed

"I've missed you so much," he whispered. "You just started and you're so busy that we don't spend much time together,"

"I'm sorry, I'm sure it's just because we're starting, we should be less busy busy as time goes on," I told him

"How about we continue from where we stopped on the yacht. No sex, just a sweet and hot make out, we could use the torture room, since it's sound proof," he said

"As enticing as it sounds, I'll have to pass, I am in dire need of madi-pedi care and today is the only free time I'll get," I said and kissed him lightly on his lips.

"Alright, take good care of those hands, I need them to be pretty when holding my dick"

"shut up" I said smacking his shoulder.

It was obvious that most students weren't paying attention in class on Friday, everyone was thinking about the party, immediately after classes I went to Xiao Ling's apartment because her house was close to the fashion house. She was not around but I didn't mind, this place was a second home for me here in New York.

I made instant ramen noodles for myself and then went to sleep, I had a dream, some was holding my neck, trying to kill me. I struggled and strained to shout but I lost my voice, I forced myself to open my eyes and when I did, I realized it wasn't a dream.

I screamed at loud as I could and he covered my mouth with his palm, loosening his grip on my neck. I opened my mouth and bit him hard until I tasted blood, "you little wench" he said and slapped me. The moment I was free, I kicked him in his balls with all the strength I had, sending him couching in pain, "you are not Xiao Ling" he said.

"yes I'm not, I'm your worse nightmare," I said and smacked the night lamp on his head and he fainted.

I quickly dialled Xiao Ling's number and luckily she picked, "hey, I'll call you later, Darren just suggested a very silly thing, can you imagine he said I should live with him?" she blabbed

"Take his offer, your house is no longer safe," I said

"what do you mean by that?" she asked

"someone just tried to kill me, he thought I was you," I told her

''oh my goodness UK are you ok, where is he now?"

"unconscious, or maybe dead," I replied.

"we're coming right away," I heard Darren say.

Few minutes later, Xiao Ling, Darren and a scary looking Jade busted into the apartment.

"UK, are you ok?" they said in unison

"guys I'm fine, he is unconscious. I tied his hands and feet with a scarf," I told them.

Xiao Ling and Darren rushed to her room to see the guy while Jade stayed with me, "are you sure you are ok, I could give Dr Kimberly a ring and he'll come here to check you up," he said.

"Jade, Jade, look at me," I said placing my hands on his cheeks, "I am breathing well and I'm fine, you thought me how to defend myself right? and I did it, that man is lying unconscious because of what I did to him, so calm down, I'm fine,"

He hugged me tight, "when Xiao Ling called that you were attacked, I was so scared of what must have possibly happened to you,"

"guys?" Xiao Ling called and we turned to her ''the good news is that he is still alive, the bad news is that he is my ex boyfriend. I ran away from Beijing to America because of him, I don't know how he managed to find me, and know that I'm bearing the name Xiao Ling. I'm sorry you got hurt because of me,"

"no Xiao Ling, it's not your fault, that sick son of a bitch tried to kill you, UK was just unlucky to be here at that moment." Darren said.

"come UK let's go home, Darren please take Xiao Ling with you and take care of her, I'll have someone deal with that man.'' Jade said leading me out

"see you later Ling," I said as we left.
