"Really?" I asked aloud, "I'm not sure if your capabilities is as you say or you're exaggerating it, anyways I don't want to find out. Come on, my feet are killing me or else I'll back out" I said and we went out.

"Whoa! Xiao Ling, what have you done to my girlfriend?" I heard Jade ask. They came out and we left immediately, Jade drove, I sat in front with him while Xiao Ling and Darren sat at the back.

"Jade?" I called

"Hmmm?"

‘‘I have a question’’

"What is it?"

"What happened to Christy?"

I immediately regret asking him, his facial expression changed, he held the steering wheel so tight that his knuckles turned white

"The cops have not been able to find her, you don't have to worry, I'll find her and when I do, I won't hand her to the police. Serving jail term is not a punishment for what she did to you and Juliet and mother, I will relish torturing her, I'm going to make sure she gets a slow and painful death." He said?

I've lived with Jade for close to 2 months now and I will say I have never seen this side of him. It felt dark, and scary. "Jade I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have asked. I let my curiosity get the better of me, I'm really sorry," I apologized,he didn't say anything, it felt really awkward. I felt a hollow in my stomach, was he upset with me or Christy, I could not tell.

"whoa! This place looks great," Xiao Ling said when we arrived, a valet came and stood waiting for us to come down for him to park the car well. When we got to the entrance, a woman came out, she dressed like a stripper. heavy makeup, lots of body pierce on her ears, nose, lips, bellybutton. A net kinda bum short, with matching crop top and a pair of 8 inches stilettos, her hair was dyed blue and pink.

"Mr Kale, it's so nice of you to come over, it's been a while since we last met, I'm sure you have a lot of things to get your mind off. Come in, I'll make it worth your while," she said in a seductive manner.

"Thanks for the offer Madison, but I did not come alone tonight," Jade said, trying to bypass her. "This is not the first time you've come with a date, my girls will take care of you and your friends," Madison pressed.

"Sorry Madi, not tonight, they are no ordinary people it's my girlfriend and her friends, I don't need any other person to keep me company except them, now if you will excuse us, we came to have fun." Jade told her and we went inside.

"Wow, I'm surprise Mr Kale, a Chinese girl is not a problem but a black girl? The Mr Kale I knew never let a black girl come close to him but now… you're walking hand in hand with a black girl." Madison said looking at me with contempt.

Jade didn't answer her, he held the small of my back and gently nudge me forward with Darren and Xiao Ling following us, I stole a peek at Madison, I recognized that look. Christy gave me that look, like she want to tear me apart but can't do anything because of Jade.

Loud music and colourful lights welcomed us, "I'll be up there, you guys go have fun okay?" Jade said. With that, Xiao Ling and Darren rushed into the dance floor while I went with Jade up to the VIP section he pointed. It was a very long section but was demarcated with colourful glasses into what looked like cubicles, each cubicle had a small table and a long leather sofa in a U shape. Two huge looking guys stood there, blocking people from going up without permission, as soon as they say Jade, they moved aside for him to pass. I held his arm so that they know I was with him. As we moved to where we'd be staying, I saw some parts of the section, some were empty, in some, people were making out. One guy even used his finger to beckon on me, I scrunched my face and looked away.

A sexy looking waitress stood at our place, "what can I get you darling?" she asked Jade, "Mr Kale's usual for me, Tracy and bring a bottle of your finest non-alcoholic drink for my girlfriend," he replied, she jotted it down on a pad and walked away, wiggling her butt.

"Do you really know the names of all the women here?" I asked as I sat and crossed my legs

"just Madison," he replied..

"then how did you know her name was Tracy? You know if you want to keep telling people I'm your girlfriend then you should try avoiding the women you've had sex with here, don't you think Mr Kale?"

"Touché, UK are you jealous?"

"me? jealous? You haven't even had any drink yet and you're talking nonsense," I denied. Actually… I was jealous. Jealous that most women here must have had sex or at least made out with the guy I've been living with for 2 months, the guy that has been recently tormenting my dreams with hot kisses and… I shook my head, if he knew he affected me this way, it'll be horrible.

I may have had a lot of boyfriends years back but none affected me this way, no guy has seen me naked, well except Jade. None have gone beyond kissing me, yeah you guessed right. I'm 18 and I'm still a virgin, but right now, I'm thinking twice about it, maybe this hot guy here would help me out. I looked at him dreamingly, his mouth was moving but I wasn't hearing what he said. How does it feel when you have sex for the first time? I heard it hurts, and there's blood. If I asked Jade nicely, would he make it less painful, these crazy thoughts went through my mind as I sat there looking at Jade. "Hello? UK where are you?" Jade said waving his palm in my face and I snapped out of my thoughts, "sorry, what were you saying?" I asked.

"what is the last thing I said?" he asked, I scrunched my face thoughtfully, "said?" I asked shrugging, he shook his head.

"Are you still thinking about your exams?" he asked me, I nodded slowly, it was better if he thought I was thinking about my exams because if he knew the main reason I wasn't paying attention to him... I don't want to know what he'd do.

"You don't have to worry, come have this drink, it's really nice, I'm sure you'll love it," he handed a glass containing a light blue drink, I took a sip, it tasted like fruit juice. I gulped it down and poured another one for myself, "hey slowly, it has 10% of alcohol. Maybe not look much but could make you do things you..." I drained my glass in one go.

One of the huge looking guys came over and whispered something to Jade, "let them in," Jade told him.

"the bouncers didn't believe that your friends are with me," he told me.

Xiao Ling and Darren joined us, she looked at my drink "what in the seven seas are you drinking?" she asked. "I think it's a kind of fruit drink Jade ordered for me," I replied.

"Jade I hope you don't mind if we snatch our friend away, we need to show her something," Darren said. Jade shook his head, "you guys have fun, I be here watching," Jade said.

Xiao Ling and Darren held my hands, "you heard the guy, get your lazy ass up and let's go dance," Xiao Ling told me.

"I'm not sure I can dance with these shoes," I said "that can be arranged," she replied winking, I saw Jade bending to make a call, minutes later the song playing changed to one of my favorite songs. I knew Jade had a hand in this but I didn't say anything, it seemed my feet had a life of their own, I ran to the dance throwing my hands up and screaming at the top of my voice.

Xiao Ling joined me on the dance floor, "let's take the dance floor," she shouted. "Are you sure you can match up with me?" I asked still dancing, "try me,"

The song changed to another song I love, it felt like I was listening to music using my headphones. I love dancing, I usually defeat my sisters when we have a mock dance competition, I imagined I was competing with my sisters. I closed my eyes and let the music and my body do their magic, even with my dress I was still able to move my body as if I was on trousers.

I opened my eyes when the music came to an end and the sight before me was shocking, I was on the dance floor alone with spotlights pointing at me, everyone surrounded me, cheering, clapping, videoing.

Xiao Ling came to me, "that was crazy, I mean, when I said we should take the dance floor I didn't know you'd actually do that. I made a video, take a look," she showed me the video of her phone.

I was crazy, I actually danced with my heels and didn't fall. an unfamiliar music played and people filled the dance floor again, so many people wanted to talk to me, I didn't want to talk to them, I took off my shoes and ran to Jade's side. I needed a drink.

I didn't say anything to him, I poured his drink into the small shot glass on the table and took it in one swig, it burned my throat, moving slowly and warmly in my chest and stomach, I love it. "Wow, I never knew you could dance that way UK, you were really amazing," Jade complimented, I placed a finger on his lips to shush him as I poured myself another shot and gulped it down.

"Never...make... me ...do ...that... again. I feel like an idiot, dancing there with all those people watching and videoing me." I told him

"You sure you can handle this alcoholic drink?" he asked

"don't change the subject young man," I warned

"I'm sorry," he apologized, his face showed that he was trying not to laugh, "I just wanted you to loosen up a bit, seems I overdid it, but those were great moves out there."

I turned around to go down, "where are you going?" Jade asked.

"I'm going to sit over there with Darren, seems he's the only one who isn't plotting against me." I replied

"careful," he shouted

"yeah, yeah, whatever."

On my way down, a drunk guy came to me, "wanna spend the night over, I'll give a hundred bucks,"

"scram!" I said and he moved away, few people looked at me but I didn't pay attention to them, I sat on an empty stood beside Darren.

"which dance crew do you work with? Can I get your autograph?" Darren asked mocking, "not you too," I said covering my face with my palms.

"No seriously, that was really great and..."

"stupid," I cut in

"not stupid, awesome,"

we sat there talking and laughing, it was comforting to talk to a guy who I didn't have any carnal thoughts about. "I need to use the bathroom, can you come with me please?" I asked him

"Why not ask Jade? He's standing over there," he said, I turned to see him talking with a man, he turned and our eyes met, he smiled and I went to him. "could you accompany me to the bathroom, I really need to empty my bladder and I'm scared to go alone," I whispered to him.

He excused himself and held my hand as we went to the bathroom, "wait right here for me," I told him and went in. I hurried inside, peed, washed my hands and ran out, I'm not sure I spent up to 10 minutes but when I came out, he wasn't there. No one was, I ran out and checked our section, he wasn't there, I asked Darren and Xiao Ling. They didn't see him. I called his number, he didn't answer, I was frantic. This is why I didn't want to come to a club.
