Chapter 247: Chapter 247: I’ve Got a Bold Suggestion

Wool Ryan’s actions made quite a splash. In less than an hour, every feature on the Magic Net was buzzing with discussion about it.

But even at this point, the vast majority of people still hadn’t realized how much profit Wool Ryan made from this. Most people were just regretting that they hadn’t noticed this early enough and couldn’t grab a couple orders.

Of course, there were some quick-thinking folks in the mix too.

Master Carl looked at the messages spreading across the Magic Net and fell into deep thought. "If even wool can be sold on a large scale through the Magic Net, couldn’t my alchemical creations work too? Heck, the cycle might even be shorter, since with alchemical creations, plenty of people would be willing to pay higher prices for fast shipping."

As a maverick alchemy master, recently he’d already posted over 30 videos on the Magic Net. The worst-performing one had 100,000 views, and the strongest had over a million. Although lots of people said his products were useless, some people also private messaged him wanting to make purchases.

"I’m really not good at streaming. Probably nobody wants to watch the actual alchemy process, and chatting with fans doesn’t seem to be my thing either. But I could totally just post a video and tell my fans in it that all my previous alchemical products can be purchased in my storefront. That should work pretty well too."

Thinking of this, Master Carl immediately got to work. He pulled out an "Automatic Cleaning Magic Conductor" he’d recently developed.

This was a new type of alchemical product he’d invented by combining magical alchemy with publicly available Magic Conductor technology. Powered by runes, with a magic power engine providing energy conversion, it could automatically add water and automatically dry.

Basically, you could strap yourself to a post, close the container, and through the magic power engine’s rotation, your body would get washed squeaky clean and dried. The whole process took 20 seconds. Compared to bathing, it was way more water-efficient and time-saving.

Master Carl decisively strapped himself in and started the cleaning mode. Though considering it would spread on the Magic Net, he didn’t take off his clothes.

The whole process went smoothly.

Getting down from the cleaning Magic Conductor, Master Carl said with a confident smile, "The main reason I invented this automatic cleaning Magic Conductor is because I’m too lazy to bathe. I felt it was a waste of time. I believe there are definitely many friends like me who face this problem! Now your problem is solved. The only side effect is your head gets a little dizzy, but I believe that can be overcome."

Looking at the video he’d recorded overnight, Master Carl nodded with great satisfaction, quickly edited it, and published it.

"As expected of Master Carl!"

"This thinking is truly imaginative."

"Dumb question, but why wouldn’t I just use a cleaning spell?"

"I’m not a mage, so I can’t use... Wait, right! For ordinary people like us who can’t use magic, this might actually be useful. But Master Carl is an alchemist, at minimum a mid-tier mage. How could he not know simple magic like cleaning spells?!"

"Compared to this, I think there’s a possibility this machine is better suited for washing clothes? Look, the clothes got a lot cleaner. As for people, I still prefer soaking in a bath slowly."

"Whoa, so this invention actually works?"

"Guess Master Carl’s starting to research useful things to sell his stuff. But honestly, compared to Master Carl’s inventions, I want more of whatever he uses to film videos. His footage is definitely the most stable on the entire net."

Over thirty different Magic Conductors were placed in his storefront, and several sold instantly. This made Master Carl feel very satisfied.

"Just as I thought! My creations are perfect. Those people just don’t know how to appreciate them. Now it’s great. I can publish them, and people who appreciate them can buy them no matter how far away they are."

Master Carl didn’t realize at all that many fans just wanted to buy one for fun to collect at home. He was still happily looking at the data and comments when he suddenly paused. "A magic device for filming videos? This tripod? Someone actually wants this thing?"

Master Carl thought about it and decided to list the tripod and fill lights, and even noted that he could custom-make them. Whatever style you wanted, just say it. He guaranteed the footage wouldn’t shake.

Almost at the same time Master Carl was making his move, in Roster territory, at the Church of Love and Beauty.

Audrey looked at the Magic Net with burning eyes. "Megan, what do you think about us starting to sell goods tomorrow like that top donor? What Roster territory has most is all kinds of Magic Conductors. There are way too many things we can sell. We could communicate with the manufacturers—we handle sales, they handle shipping. Split the profits fifty-fifty."

"I think we can." News Bird Megan didn’t even hesitate and spoke bluntly. "But we can’t follow this chubby kid’s route. That kid’s obviously acting, tricking people into buying. You can’t do that. You just need to follow your usual streaming rhythm... Oh, we could start selling clothes."

"You’re basically perfect for modeling clothes. You look amazing in anything. We could totally sell whatever you wear. Though if we do that, we’ll need to lower your cut a bit. You know how it is—the clothing factory’s garments aren’t hard to sell."

"That actually could work." Audrey thought about it. "Should we contact the clothing factory? Or directly contact Viscount Roster?"

Ever since she became the archbishop of the Church of Love and Beauty and they started building a new headquarters in Roster territory, she’d had some contact with Viscount Roster. Discussing land, clothes, construction and such—they’d communicate about it all.

Megan was trained by Viscount Roster, so naturally she felt this matter needed some communication.

They edited a message, checked it repeatedly, confirmed there were no problems, then sent it to Viscount Roster.

They originally thought Viscount Roster would most likely wait until tomorrow to reply, but to their surprise, right after they sent it, Viscount Roster replied. "Of course. I can arrange this, but I think you could totally go bigger."

"Go bigger?" Audrey was confused.

"Aren’t you building a new headquarters? Just prepare tons of streaming room spaces. One cleric from the Church of Love and Beauty in each space, streaming in there every day while selling various products produced in our Roster territory, including but not limited to clothes, Magic Conductors, and other mechanical products."

Viscount Roster paused, then continued sending messages. "What you’re least short of is people. What we’re least short of is products. We can have each person target each type of product. That way the effect should be even better."
