Chapter 210: Chapter 210

Su Yan briefly scanned the forum posts, his eyes glancing over the historical university competition scores. One post title read: "Why is Jian Zihao always being trashed in the forums? Just because Demon Capital University smashed him?" Then, his fingers, quite honestly, clicked on a schoolgirl’s selfie.

As soon as he opened the post, Su Yan saw a photo of Cosplay Yao.

Below it was the text: "The lady has arrived, everyone make way!"

Further down was a pile of bootlickers frantically bidding up the price.

"Hit me with your V! Please, I’m begging you! Can I have your V?"

"She’s a decent girl; it’s just that her face has grown a cellphone."

"White stockings! It’s actually white stockings! I’m down! I really am! AWOOO!"

Su Yan opened the photo and began to zoom in non-stop on the white-stockinged legs in the picture. It wasn’t because he was a pervert, but because he felt these white-stockinged legs were eerily familiar, as if he had seen them somewhere before.

The Fox Demon’s legs were even more slender.

After thinking for a moment, Su Yan’s eyes suddenly lit up; he realized where he had seen those legs before. It was right in Qin Yao’s Feixin friends circle! Connecting this to Qin Yao’s Feixin name, it was obvious there was a similarity with the ID of the post’s author—both included "Yao."

Who would have thought such an aloof woman in real life would turn into a completely different person online, one who loved to take selfies and show off?

What a repressed woman!

Not like me; I’m boldly shameless!

Thinking this, Su Yan took a screenshot of the post and sent it to Qin Yao on Feixin, intending to make the little vixen experience a social death.

As he had expected, Qin Yao’s face turned completely red when she saw the message from him.

"Ah! I’m doomed! I’m so screwed!"

"How can I live on after the man of my dreams has seen me being such a flirt!"

Qin Yao buried her face in the couch cushion in shame, her two snow-white legs flailing against the sofa, nearly losing her mind. But she quickly composed herself and sent a message back to Su Yan.

"That was my sister messing around with my phone while I was in the bathroom—it wasn’t me who made the post."

"No worries. Actually, it wasn’t me who sent that message either; it was my sister playing with my phone."

Just after Su Yan sent that message, he heard the click of a door opening from the direction of the house entrance. He stood up and looked over to find his Second Sister, Su Erke, who had just returned from school to pick up her student report.

All the way back, she couldn’t help but sigh incessantly, looking utterly distressed. She collapsed beside Su Yan as if her soul had been drained, tossing her student report aside without a care. Occasionally, she would mutter to herself, cursing how stupid she was for not doing well on an elementary school final exam. "Damn embarrassing!"

Seeing his Second Sister in such a disheartened state, Su Yan curiously picked up the discarded student report, wondering if she had done poorly.

Out of a perfect score of 100, she got 99 in math and full marks, 100, in the other two subjects! Only one point off in total—the scores were incredible! Compared to that previous math test score of 38, this was a skyrocketing improvement, enough to put helicopters to shame!

"Oh man, how can I be so stupid, to lose one point? I’m so damn dumb!"

"How can I punch out male top students and kick male geniuses with scores ?"

"Sigh, sigh, sigh, despite studying math the hardest, it’s my worst subject! I’m hopeless!"

When she saw her big brother looking at her report, Su Erke immediately started wailing.

Listening to her made Su Yan speechless. Is this kid showcasing her Versailles tendencies? But then he considered that since she was young, she wasn’t the sort who liked to flaunt; at most, she just enjoyed bantering with him, her brother. Moreover, I’m the top student in the Nanjiang Province Evolution Department. Her elementary school final exam results—is she trying to compete with me using her life as a stake?

So, maybe she’s genuinely worried. Maybe those dramatic plots in novels have skewed her values: it’s either perfection or trash.

Thinking this, Su Yan offered his little sister a comforting remark, "Ninety-nine points and you think you screwed up? If that were me when I was younger, scoring 95 would have..."

Su Yan hadn’t finished speaking when his Second Sister, Su Erke, interrupted, "You’d be happy with 99 points, but it’s still one point off a perfect score!"

Even missing one point isn’t acceptable...

Erke’s values really are skewed...

I need to set her straight...

Thinking this, Su Yan said, "It’s just one point. Losing only one point means you knew how to do the question; you just need to pay more attention next time."

After hearing that, Su Erke suddenly sat up, slamming her hand on the sofa. Then she spoke with some agitation, "Su Yan, I really can’t with you! Do you have any idea how important this one point is?"

"In the college entrance exam, one point can make the difference of hundreds, even thousands of ranks!"

"And because of that one point, I might not make it into a good school!"

"And if I can’t get into a good school, it means I won’t find a good job, and my life will be over!"

Hearing his little sister carry on left Su Yan somewhat dumbfounded. How did an elementary school final exam turn into a conversation about the college entrance exam?

Could it be that times have changed?

Why are elementary students looking so far ahead now?

Can’t they just have fun anymore?
