Chapter 26: Chapter 26

The next day, Davion took her sightseeing, to make memories with her. It was true that he had visited LA many times in the past few years, but this time he enjoyed himself more than ever. It was all because of Sofia and the way she made him feel. He had never felt so overwhelmed and so whipped all his life for a single woman. It was true that he didn't believe in relationships but he was glad to have married Sofia. She taught him the meaning of love, she taught him the meaning of what unconditional love meant. He now knew that not all relationships were toxic. He knew now that he wasn't doomed to be alone as he had always thought. He now had Sofia. He might have been obsessed when he married her but now he loved her with all his heart and soul.

Eager to give her a time of her life, he took her to see the Universal Studios Hollywood. With his big connections, they had access to a lot more than the other visitors. Davion showed her the sights that she had been watching on the big screen to date making her jaws drop with amazement. They held hands, walked closer into the world of romance. This theme park and film studio offered them a good sneak peek into some of Hollywood's famous movies and their behind-the-scenes sets. It was an experience of a lifetime for Sofia.

Afterwards, Davion treated her to delicious Turkey Chowder, Funnel cake, Gourmet pizzas and they left the place with lots of souvenirs and a mountain of memories.

"Where are we going now?" asked an over-eager Sofia, looking around as he drove on with a smirk on his face.

"What? Will you just smile? The curiosity's killing me, Davion," she said with a glare.

"Just sit back and relax, love. I'm in the mood to explore everything. It's a first time for me as well," he said, briefly glancing at her. Sofia was stunned at his admission.

"You never went sightseeing?" she asked with wide eyes.

"No, only to the iconic restaurants with Colt," he shrugged.

"You two were so weird!" she said with an eye roll. Davion smiled. He was weird but now he had started enjoying the finer tastes of life with Sofia.

"Were?" asked Davion.

"Now you're kind of adorable," she admitted with a blush. Davion's eyes shot up with disbelief while his heart started doing a crazy dance with joy.

"Really? I hope it's the hot type. I'd rather be hot than an adorable teddy," he chuckled. Sofia giggled hearing him.

"A teddy isn't bad. I used to cuddle one to sleep when I was young," she admitted making his jaws drop.

"Oh, in that case, I'd love to be your teddy," he said making Sofia giggle more.

He parked in the parking area of Hollywood Bowl Museum, making Sofia squeal with delight.

"Wow, it looks so fab! Vicky would be so jealous of me!" she blurted out, taking out her mobile phone to click pictures. Davion chuckled and got them tickets for a show that was about to start. After a soul-satisfying music performance at the amphitheater, they drove back to the hotel.

A romantic dinner was set up on the beach for them to enjoy. With the soft breeze blowing from the ocean and the magical moon shining upon them, it was the ideal setup for a newly wedded couple. Thankfully, there were no distractions this time and they enjoyed a delicious meal together against a warm, romantic backdrop.

Sofia couldn't have dreamed of a better honeymoon than this. All her life, she had been a romantic at heart in stark comparison to her twin. She had always dreamed of falling in love and marrying the man she truly loved. Although hers was a forced marriage that shattered her dreams forever but now knowing Davion so well, she was glad to have met him. He was everything that she had dreamed of and more.

Later, when they returned to their suite, Davion carried her into their bedroom and lay her down on the bed, gazing at her expectantly. Without a word, from the look in his eyes, Sofia knew what he wanted. She initiated their lovemaking this time and soon Davion took over, his body going into overdrive.

"You're amazing, love. I can't get enough of you," he whispered into her ear, biting her earlobe and trailing hot kisses down the exposed length of her neck downwards to her brea*ts.

Sparks erupted between them and soon all that could be heard was the lapping of skin against skin, the moans and groans, echoing within walls of the dimly lit room.

Davion parted her legs gently and positioning himself above her, he entered her in one thrust. A moan of satisfaction escaped his mouth. He was in heaven!

The next day, after spending a whole day at a horse ranch, in the evening, he took her on a gondola ride on Redondo Beach. They cozied up during the sunset and enjoyed some fine wine, all the while admiring the picturesque beauty of the city at sunset. Sofia knew that she had only a few more days in LA, yet she wasn't sad. They would make the most of it now. With Davion by her side, she could enjoy anywhere!

Davion had traveled all his life but he had never enjoyed sightseeing so much as he did now. He felt complete with Sofia.

He took her to Marina Del Rey for a romantic cruise of the Pacific. He treated her to the best wine available onboard along with a complete three-course dinner meal. Later they danced to the melodic tunes and had the night of their lives with each other.

'Have you done something like this before?" asked Davion. Sofia shook her head, her eyes were shining with excitement as they danced to the slow romantic music.

"I danced to the fast, peppy numbers at Lisa, my best friend's place. We weren't allowed to go out much. It was either Lisa or another friend's house," she said with a shrug.

Davion nodded. "Did you have a crush on anyone before marrying me?" he asked eagerly.

"No, are you crazy?" she said with a blush.

"Why? You're so beautiful, any guy can kill to be with you," he told her, making her mouth hang open with disbelief.

"You're the only one who thinks so. I look okay," she muttered shyly. Davion looked at her with amusement.

"You're so naive, my love," he said, pulling her closer and embedding his face into her hair. 'That's what I love so much about you. I knew you were the one for me," he told her. Sofia was on top of the world, hearing his sweet words.

"And you're the only one for me. I'm so glad to have met you," she told him. He smiled, lifting an eyebrow at her.

"I hope you remember our meeting!" he reminded her. Sofia grinned at him.

"Of course! How can I forget that?" she said. Soon the music stopped and the cruise ended. A dazed and glowing Sofia returned to their suite for another night of blissful lovemaking.
