"You really haven't changed at all, mother." I smiled, ignoring her, and went to my original room. The room was turned into a study with a whole row of bookshelves. I stepped forward and took out a book and flipped through it, ignoring Ann, who was furious behind me.

“How are you came back here, you are kicked out, you don’t belong here!” she yelled at me and walked forward to push me, “Get out of my house!”

I grabbed her wrists calmly, and she was startled by my action. Perhaps she never thought that one day the obedient Katherine Green would dare to fight back. She struggled hard but I didn’t let go.
