"Good morning"

"Goodmorning" her mom and Abigail replies.

Sofia walks into the kitchen putting her some eggs, bacon and waffles on a plate and pours some syrup on it then sits and begins eating.

She checks her phone to see a message from Brady from around 4 in the morning.

Brady : look what you left

He sent a pic of him holding up her bra and she laughs. "What's funny?" Abigail asks.

"Nothing" she begins writing him back when Elijah starts calling her. "I'll be right back" she stands. "is it that important?" her mom asks.

"yes, it's Elijah calling about our project" she walks off upstairs into the hallway then answers the phone "hey"

"Goodmorning, you had fun last night?" he asks. "yeah, I had a blast"

"well I'm glad you did, we still on for later?"

"About that I'm not gonna be able to make it, Our mom grounded us because we came home late"

"oh damn, sorry"

"you don't have to be sorry"

"I know but I feel like it's my fault considering I invited you both to the party, I didn't think you guys would get in trouble"

"it's fine" she hears footsteps "anyways text me later, I'm eating breakfast right now"

"okay later"

She hangs up the phone and joins them back downstairs "mom"

"no"

"you don't even know what I was gonna ask"

"if it's anything about leaving this house then no" her mom stands throwing her plate away. "why not?"

"you already know why"

"mom please, I have plans later!"

"you should have thought of that before you and your sister came home at 2 in the morning, now I'm gonna go get ready for work, end of discussion" she walks out.

"she's so annoying" Abigail rolls her eyes "it's not our fault we came home late"

"I mean it kind of is but that doesn't mean we should get grounded" Sofia sits back down "Can you do me a favor?"

"I already know what you're gonna ask me and no, if I can't go out then what makes you think I'm gonna cover for you?"

"Abigail please!"

Abigail stops and thinks for a few "okay fine but you owe me"

"Thank you" Sofia hugs her.

"Why do you wanna go so bad?"

"I told him i was gonna go, I can't bail now"

"Mhm." Abigail looks her up and down "you a damn lie"

"What?"

"Did you catch feelings for him?"

"No"

"I don't believe that, that would be the only reason you wanna go out with him so bad"

"Or maybe because i just wanna go have fun" Sofia rolls her eyes "you always dragging shit on"

"yeah you wanna have fun with him" Abigail laughs.

"Ugh stop saying that"

"I'll stop saying that when you admit it"

"Okay, i might have caught a little bit of feelings but why does that matter?"

"It doesn't I just wanted you to admit it, I'm your sister, I can tell when you like someone"

Sofia looks down at her phone and texts Elijah letting him know she'll be out later on.

Elijah : are you sure you wanna do that? You'll get in even more trouble

Sofia : so what, come pick me up around 6

Elijah : alright fine

Later on Sofia makes her way outside and begins waiting for Elijah. His car turns the corner a few minutes later and stops in front of her house. She walks over to his car getting inside then he drives off.

"What time is your mom gonna be back home?"

"I don't know yet, she usually comes back around 12"

"Okay good so we have enough time"

Sofia stares at him for a few before he catches her looking "what?"

"Nothing" She looks away and acts like she's on her phone when she feels his hand grip her thigh "do you wanna go eat now or later?"

"It doesn't matter, It's up to you, I'm not really hungry."

"Okay we can go After" He drives for 15 minutes more when he finally arrives at the bowling alley building and they walk inside.

"Hello, how may i help you?" A lady behind the counter says with a big smile.

"Can i have a size 9 and a size..." he looks over to Sofia "A size 7" she replies. "Okay" she grabs the shoes handing him them "we currently have a deal going on, for only $15 you can play for 2 hours"

"Okay, that too please"

"Okay, that'll be $32.50" he digs in his pocket grabbing $40 and hands her it "keep the change"

"Thank you sir"

They both walk off "are you ready to get your ass beat in bowling?" He turns to her with a laugh.

"Hey, i never lose any game, you're gonna be the one losing today"

"So quit talking and let's play" they walk to one of the lanes and he enters his name as the first player and she enters her name as the second.

He grabs one of the bowling balls "Watch and learn" He focuses then throws the ball getting a Strike. He goes again getting another strike and his 3rd time he knocks down only 6 pins.

"Okay my turn" she grabs a ball then stands in the middle of the lane wondering where she should throw the ball from.

"Just throw it already"

"Give me a few" She focuses then throws the ball getting A strike "Hell yeah!"

"Okay i see you, still can't beat me" he walks over.

"I still have 2 more goes" She goes a second time knocking down only 2 "Well that's embarrassing"

"At least you're trying" He laughs "Here let me show you" He comes up behind her wrapping his hands around hers "don't throw the ball too hard, just relax" he throws the ball helping her get a strike "see"

"Yeah i see" She turns around facing him as he gives her a smile "Listen Eli-" She gets cut off by a phone call from her mom "I'll be right back" She rushes outside and answers the call "hello?"

"Take the pork chops out the freezer, i got sent home early so I'll be home in 25 minutes"

"Okay"

"What's that noise in the background? Are you outside?"

"Yes, I just took a quick trip to the store"

"Okay well get back home now, I'll see you soon"

"Okay see you soon" Sofia hangs up the phone and runs back inside "We have to go now, my mom said she's gonna be home in 25 minutes!"

"I thought you said she was getting back home at 12?"

"Well she just called me and told me she's gonna be home early so lets go" They both change back to their shoes handing the lady back their shoes then leaves getting into the car and drives off.

He quickly drives her home and parks and just as she's about to get out the car he grabs her arm stopping her "Sofia"

"Yeah?" She stops and turns around to him. "What were you gonna say to me before your mom called you?"

"oh um... i forgot"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure, why?"

"Nothing, never mind, I'll text you later"

"Okay" she leans over giving him a hug "thank you for driving me home"

"No problem"

She gets out his car waving to him before he drives off then runs inside the house "Finally you're home, mom is gonna be here in 10 minutes"

"Well it's a good thing i got here early" She takes off her coat hanging it up "did you take the pork chops out?"

"Yeah"

"Thank you"

"So how was it?" Abigail pats next to her on the couch "come tell me everything"

"I mean it was fun but of course nothing happened, it was this one time he gripped my waist and my thigh"

"That's it?"

"Yeah, that's it, what'd you expect to happen, we have sex in front of everyone?" Sofia laughs.

"No maybe a kiss or two"

"Well we're not really there yet, I don't know how to explain it"

"Well just give it some time, maybe that'll change"

"Yeah maybe."
