Chapter 37: Chapter 37

Gasps left her throat as Anahita intook the cataclysmic room and her eyes narrowed, doubled to its size in horror. She covered her mouth in fear as she witnessed their suitcases thrown at the extreme ends of the room with their contents scattered all over the room. Some of his stuff was ruined brutally, for instance, his deodoriser, hair gel, even her favourite watch. Mattress was sprawled on the ground and cushions were tamped in the small void between wardrobe and wall. She did a quick review of the hotel property being damaged but was relieved that it was not up to the mark where they had to pay for it.

A part of her stuttered like a leaf but another part was relieved a bit. At least, he tried to vent out his anger. If he was bottling it up, it could've been more dangerous than the debacle she was clapping her eyes upon. Her restive eyes were longing to get a glimpse of Yuvraaj.

"Yuvraaj!" She breathed out, contemplative as she spotted him standing upon the deck, against the wooden balustrade and facing the ocean.

Exhaling loud and clear, Yuvraaj was trying to calm himself, he felt emasculated yet contented. Emasculated because he couldn't grip his wife when she dared to slap him and contented because he didn't pick any means to be a tyrant and let her pave her own way.

The point of discreet was, how is he going to explain it to their family? What would be his answer when they'll ask about Anahita? For he knew that she wouldn't come back. What is he probably going to concoct? No way, would he fess up everything and bring her to mortification!

His forehead creased as he skimmed through the possibilities he could offer them, he closed his eyes and rubbed his face, tiringly glancing at the shimmering ocean under moonlight.

Precisely, the moment door unlatched and he turned to see who it was, not prepared for the push that followed once he opened the glass door, he jerked aback to see Anahita before him and latching the door behind her.

"What....are you doing here? Ain't you..."

"I left something." She was in hurry, scrutinizing his face with unadulterated emotions.

"What?"

Silence seeped in through the layers of air around them and thickened, enveloping them in an soothing embrace. Two beautiful orbs declined to look away from each other and Anahita stepped closer, still not wavering her gaze.

"You don't know?"

"What I don't know?"

She looked down, gulping and blinked rapidly, nipping her lip, "That..." She began, with a sigh, "That you're the one I left behind." She punctuated her words looking at his eyes again.

They warmed up, striking to the fullest, dilating with pleasure but something held him back, ceased his instinctual actions. Yuvraaj crossed his arms, "Is it some kind of joke?"

"I.."

"Because if it is, it's not funny. I am not someone you play with as you please. To put it in advance, I am not your marionette, get out."

She held her ears, raising face at him with her twinkling eyes, "I am sorry. I know you are angry and I promise, I won't wince a bit if you berate me, not a word of abnegation would spur out of my mouth but give me one chance to explain."

"Get out Anahita, there's nothing to be explain." He said frostily and moved to abscond when she touched his shoulder only to have her hand jerked back.

"Yuv...Yuvraaj!" Swallowing, she again touched his shoulder as he didn't respond and stroked his broad shoulder line to calm him down. "Yuvraaj, please listen to me. I am really really sorry for whatever I've done. Please just once!"

Wordlessly, he gripped her hand dropping it to her side. The clenched jaw she noticed through his side profile and his white knuckles on the balustrade portrayed how angry he was. His once chestnut brown eyes were dilated and stroked between red veins. Intimidated, Anahita dropped her chin to her chest, threading her fingers together.

It was becoming difficult. He wasn't coping. She was scared and guilty but she had to try. Until the last.

"Yuvraaj please, I know i am wrong. I did a horrible mistake by not listening to you but please, listen to me once!" Her voice implored him and he snarled, "What is there to left? Haven't you insulted me enough? I am infidel, I am having affairs and now next is left?"

"I never said that." She defended but after sensing his glare, she amended, "Perhaps I did. I am sorry for that."

"Huh! Sorry." Yuvraaj scoffed under his breath and ambled to the bedroom, kicking the stuff aside he had thrown on the floor.

"Take everything that belongs to you and move out. I believe we both won't bother each other after this. Hurry up and pack your things."

"No, I'm not going anywhere until you hear me, Yuvraaj!" She retorted, coming closer. "I accept it was my fault entirely. I know I should've given you a chance to explain yourself which I didn't and I am sorry for that as well but I was jealous and hurt. How do you expect me to behave when I see my husband dancing with another woman just because he has planned to hurt me and then how would I feel when you said it was all a game?"

"Jealous or not, you should've trust upon me. You should've listen to me when I was explaining myself to you but you already had a few self made assumptions in your mind that you didn't wish to hear me out. It's all about trust Anahita and I've failed. I've failed in having you keep your faith intact upon me." He shouted, angrily causing her to cry.

"You haven't." She whispered not matching his gaze, "I failed. I failed in keeping a relationship secure, it was my fault. I should've trust you but I am sorry I didn't. I thought maybe you don't want to do anything with me. Maybe, you're disgusted..."

"Why the hell would I be disgusted by you? Don't you have little brains? Why would I ask you to be my wife, why would I gift you, why would I kiss you, why would I roam around hanging you upon my arm if I don't want to be with you?" He catechised, "You're a fool. All your life you've been a fool Anahita, nothing else."

"Yes I am." She admitted, "But because I love you yaar."

"You're simply making fun of this. You don't love me if you can't trust me. I don't...know why am I having this conversation just get out Anahita." He picked her suitcase and started stuffing her stuff he managed to throw away when Anahita cuffed his hands making him turn to her, "I said I am not going anywhere. Why don't you believe that I love you? Who the hell are you to dictate my love? I know better what I feel."

"You don't trust me."

"I do trust you, Yuvraaj. I wouldn't have been kissing you and playing happy wife if I hadn't trust you. It was just I was jealous and hurt. To see you choosing another woman over me had jabbed my senses," She cupped his face, "But now I know the truth. I met Elizabeth on the beach and hell, I feel stupid, she is married Yuvraaj. I know now that you wouldn't..."

"So you're here because a third person told you that I wasn't wrong. Basically, you're not here because you think you're wrong but because a third fucking person whom you don't even know properly told you that I wasn't having flirt with her. You believed her." He flinched from her touch and stepped away.

"Now, if I wish to keep this relationship breathing, I need to have witnesses who can assure you of my every action, right? So what's the use of the pain I took to make you believe me? So what's the use of asking you to trust me?" His questions were making Anahita more miserable. "Now since she has said that I wasn't having flirt with her, i am not infidel but my own explanation doesn't matter to you. Because again, you can trust a stranger but not me."

"As if you trusted me!" She countered, "Why did you have to hurt me in the first place Yuvraaj? For if you don't trust me, how can you expect me to trust you. You thought I was talking to Mukund behind your back when I was and am loyally leading this relationship because I've no concern for Mukund at all. Don't you think you're wrong too?"

"Of course, I am. I agreed I didn't trust you because I am sorry but I am not nurtured and taught accordingly how to behave and practice self control when a random person is calling my wife, bedding for forgiveness and chipping 'I love you's to her. I am not customized for such situation. I did what I feel like. I wanted to inflict same amount of pain upon you what I assayed listening that puppy bastard boyfriend of yours." He wrangled, "But I trusted you when you said you didn't talk to him. I felt like undoing everything. Still, even when I trusted you or not, I didn't feel the need to drag a third person in between us Anahita."

"I'm sorry Yuvraaj. I am so sorry." Anahita broke into sobs, hiding her face in her hands. "I am really the worst girl. I shouldn't have...I am ashamed. I am really ashamed."

"Just go Anahita!" Yuvraaj clenched his fist, looking away and horizontal lines appeared upon his forehead. "Just go before I hurt you more."

"I want you, Yuvraaj!" She was reduced to begging and caged him in a back hug tightening her hold around his waist, "I want to live with you. Please don't leave me."

"But I don't want to live with a woman who has no faith in me. I gave as much as I could to make this relationship steady but I think..." He trailed off, unbuckling her hands and turned to leave when Anahita fortified her grip upon his forearm.

"Slap me!"

"Are you mad?" Yuvraaj glared her as she wiped her tears and smiled. "I've hurt you na, then hurt me. I promise I won't complaint at all."

"Get out right now Anahita. I don't want to hurt you, just get out." He growled making himself intimidating but Anahita was stubborn, it seemed to be the only way possible to stop himself and make him forgive her. In any other situation, she would've killed such person who had so much just as raised hand upon her but Yuvraaj was more important than a stinging slap. And a blue red bruise in his case.

"I'm not going out." She skidded closer, almost standing at a breath's distance, boring her eyes in his deep, creating havoc in his senses with her dazzling smile. "Slap me hard if it takes away your anger or kiss me if it makes you feel better."

Aroused, Yuvraaj began to respire rapidly still coping with her hands that slide up to chest and cinched around his neck. His throat went dry and tongue swelled as he realised that his body was responding to his touch. Anahita grasped the moment of his weakness and rubbed her toe upon his foot, arising him carnally. Yuvraaj closed his eyes, falling his head back as he stepped away from her.

"Just go Anahita! I don't want to do anything inappropriate which we both will regret." He warned sweeping his hair back out of his knack and pushed her away holding her hands. The hoarseness and texture of his thick rich voice became sensual.

"I won't regret anything Yuvraaj. I haven't regret anything with you ever. Whatever happens tonight, I would never regret it. Never in this lifetime. Never in any birth I take." Beginning with her confession, she pressed Yuvraaj to the wall before slamming her lips upon hers.

Anahita pressed her lips upon his, locking her heart with his as well as their fingers. Stupefied, Yuvraaj frowned at her attempt of fondling him with a mere kiss when he was too much angry to kiss her. He tried to pry her hands off her, eliciting a gutteral moan which was taken advantage for by her. As he pushed her with the force of their intertwined hands, she propped it to girdle around his waist and enchained her arms around his neck pulling her back with him, sticking her body to him as he continued to push her until they were on the bed.

Kindled, Yuvraaj deepened the kiss as he plopped over her and wrapped her hair in a fist before pressing in the mattress, shifting his weight upon his elbow and pulled her body crashed against him, tightening his arm around her slender waist. Desires flamed in them, sparks flew and the need their body oozed out wrapped them in a bundle of passion, pulling them in the abyss of fervorous concupiscence.

Anahita threaded her fingers in the thick layers of his hair, pulling him more into her and bit his lip as he responded with same stirring zeal. Yuvraaj's wanton fingers dipped dangerously low in her waist, stretching her slacks elastic and set it free, making the garter slap against her flesh adducing the gasp out of her in pleasure and Anahita arched her back, affixing her chest with his, pixilated in his sweet aroma. Her maverick hands left his hair and itinerate-d to his broad muscled back.

Mounting her over him, Yuvraaj made her sit astride over his waist and stared at her eyes, boring his incandescent gaze in those chestnut browns, recumbent upon his back. The intensity of their raged breath matched each others. Her eyes diverted away from his and rested upon his chest, blushing scarlet.
