Chapter 32: Chapter 32

"Okay, now. I am done." Anahita panted, crouching low and breathed through her nose heavily. She eyed those other hikers incredulously who were steeping like rangers.

"Get up yaar." Yuvraaj pulled her on her feet, "It's just a few meters away. If they rush away, we will lost the track."

"But I don't wanna go there." Anahita whimpered, her lower lip rolled out and she fisted his shirt in her hands. "My thighs are burning. I can't do it anymore."

"You've barely covered two hundred meter. So cry me a river. We're going to pull this off." Yuvraaj waved his hand dismissively taking lead.

"But my jelly legs says otherwise." Anahita pushed the bangs behind her ear and rubbed her foot with another leg.

"Well your legs are wrong, pick up the pace."

"Show some sympathy, Yuvraaj." Anahita tugged his hair, bouncing with his back when Yuvraaj paused. She twitched her lips, rubbing her nose. Reality washed over her like a waterfall, soaking her in anticipation of the awful consequences. Yuvraaj pivoted on his heels. It was a slow-mo for Anahita. She could read his deviant, revengeful eyes resting on her face.

"I am sorry. It was a reflex. I didn't mean to ruin your hair do. Show me, I will do it for you." Instantly, she weaved her fingers in his hair messing them more. Yuvraaj tried to hold her wrists but she jerked his hands away, falling in the suit of a hair dresser and fine combed his hair.

"Anahita, it's okay." Yuvraaj purled, edging her efforts. Anahita rolled her lips down, beseeching with her eyes. "Sorry."

Yuvraaj formed a lopsided grin at her and tousled her hair. "I told you it's alright. Come on, now! We have to hike up." He glommed her hand onto his and ascended the knoll.

"Why are you so adamant on climbing there on the top? I don't even see the point now." She huffed, matching with his pace. "My legs are cramping now. Yuvraaj, please let's go back."

"Anahita, we've been in the lodge for six days and now when the weather is pleasant, you're being picky instead of enjoying." Yuvraaj dissuaded. Anahita's constant nagging was rubbing him on the wrong side of his. She yielded to his wishes, rolling her eyed at his stubbornness. At best, she could pray to the Lord for not fusing any bizarre concept of 'enjoy'.

"Um..why are we going there anyway? Is the view good from there?" She tried to cover the distance with small talks.

"Who said we're going there for sightseeing?" Yuvraaj was surprised at her question. Anahita steeled her nerves to get ready for the heart pounding answer and it came being a bang.

"Ever heard of bungee jumping?" Anahita's feet solidified on the ground as she heard his enthusiastic voice. The ground beneath her feet slipped off and she banged her forehead for getting married to an adventure enthusiast.

"Please tell me that it's a dream and I am still sleeping." She implored, cracking her knuckles and held his eyes.

"Should I pinch you?"

"At least, show some mercy now Yuvraaj."

"In your dream sweetheart."

Anahita glared at the mirror, buttoning her seventh dress and looked murderous, "I swear if you reject this one. I will kill you."

She scamped out of the bathroom. Yuvraaj glanced up from his cellphone, examining her. His eyes scrutinising her and his eyes held that look which spoke of dissent, "This is the seventh dress and you're still not looking.....how do I put it...good."

"Not good?" She gasped in shock. Her lavender prom dress that had squeezed out hefty amount of bucks wasn't good enough to have a approval from Yuvraaj. This seemed shocking. She scoured down at her dress and raised an eyebrow, "Are you sightless? How can you say this dress is not looking good?"

Smirking, Yuvraaj got up stretching his arms and shook his head, sauntering to her, "I never said that this dress is not good. I just said you're not looking good."

"What's the difference?"

"Difference is, this," He touched the dress, wearing the face of couturier. His long symmetric fingers slipped on her blossoms to her waist. "doesn't suit you, my lady. Go and wear something else."

Boiling, she stomped her foot, "You know what Yuvraaj? I am done. Just go to the ball alone. I don't want to accompany you even. Go!" She was about to wade in and he clasped her wrist, kissing the sides of her face. "No way. I am not going alone and neither I am going to take you with me ducked up in this joker dress. Go and change!"

"Then at least choose a dress for me." She propounded, crossing her hands belligerently against her chest. Yuvraaj rubbed his chin contemplating at her suggestion and sighed, waving his hand dismissively. "I've gotten bigger works to do."

"Yeah," She snorted flicking her hair back and rolled her eyes. "Like showing a thumbs down on my dresses. Seriously? Geez." Blabbering on her way, she pulled out her golden card taking out the dress which was her choice and smirked, "Yuvraaj! How's this?"

She waved the dress under his nose, concocting a false tale to get him under her claws. "Aai and Gitika selected this for me. Shall I wear this?" Albeit she wasn't as innocent as she sounded, she did her best to convey that the dress was actually selected by his mom and sister.

Yuvraaj flapped his eyes on the dress, looking down at it as if it were the most disgusting piece of clothe he'd ever seen. His scattered thick eyebrows concaved. "This is mom's choice?"

"Yes!" Anahita gleamed, inwardly preparing the victory feast. She knew the game was going to be hers.

"You've distorted her fashion sense." Yuvraaj grunted, snatching the dress from her and pore over the dress. "This dress! Seriously? Like what is hidden beneath it? Your legs would be showing, and what about this back?" He flopped the dress, with his pitch growing louder. "Backless? Impossible! You're not wearing this at all."

"Why?" She egged on, bunching the pricey dress defensively against her chest. "You said that you would never comment on my clothing." She pulled out her best card to rub his wrong sides.

Taking measurable steps towards Anahita, Yuvraaj blocked her between bathroom's door and his body. Lust filled his mind, coursing through his veins and spasming down somewhere in south. Anahita depressed the tingling that skyrocketed from her waist where his hands rested, burning like coal. Withholding her eyes, Yuvraaj pulled her closer until she was flattened against the slab of his chest and could count the times his Adam's apple bobbed.

"Because I don't want to go ripping every head that turns to you. I take back my words that I would never comment on your clothes because if you decide to wear something like this, I will not be able to breath properly."

A short smile escaped her lips as Anahita crawled her manicured pointed fingers from his chest his shoulder, challenging him. "And what if I do so?"

The savageness flourished in him. Patience was hanging by a thin thread, his body was reacting to the electrifying touch that she ignited. Nipping on her jaw and biting her earlobe softly, Yuvraaj made the minutes travel slower than they usually were. "Then for the rest of the days, you will be yearning to discover a piece of cloth on your body. I will make sure that you stay in your birth suit before my eyes every single second."

Anahita's breath hitched in her throat as an impact of his filthy words and his hands wandering over the globe of her rear. Instead of disgusting, it excited her nerves. They rejoiced in ecstasy when Yuvraaj cupped her rear devoting his worshiping to her face. Her cheeks flushed with heat. Unaware of the effect he'd caused on her, Yuvraaj feasted on her neck calling his dips, savoring the sweet honey and coconut nectar.

"You're so brutal." She whispered closing her eyes, propping her arms against the door as Yuvraaj turned her and sucked her shoulder joint with devotion, making her weak on her knees. The chiffon bunch pooled near her feet which was secured in her arms before.

"Then before I turn more brutal, open the cupboard and take out your dress." Yuvraaj murmured in her ear still making no attempts to leave her. Anahita blinked in confusion, craning her neck at him. "Cupboard has your clothes only. I haven't put my clothes there."

"Check again." Yuvraaj jutted out his chin, scampering away and smoothened the creases of his shirt. "You might have left something there."

"But I am pretty sure that my all clothes are in my bag, I don't know...." She shrugged and strode to the cupboard, rummaging through his stuff. "Wait, what's this?" She extracted a paper bag with a box wrapped in shining paper.

"What's in it?" She swiveled the box, trying to guess and Yuvraaj smiled cheerfully, peeking through the bathroom door. "Open it and look yourself."

***

Anahita swept her hair backwards leaving a few tresses to fall freely upon her forehead and twisted them in a loose hung down bun. With thin open wings coating of eyeliners, she wore her final makeup and matte hot pink lip colour made her already ruby lips more luscious. She swiveled sideways to glance at the stone coloured silk gown that had hugged her waist perfectly accentuating her figure and teasing pull about V neck look gave a little peeping of her cleavage which exactly was looking decent and fell on her back within V neck pattern.

"Thank god! It's V strapped." She hid her tattoo slyly and flicked her hair back. She wore the diamond hoops and fixed a diamond bracelet along with a ring for the accessories. She arranged her platform heels to complete her look.

"Ready?" She turned to spot Yuvraaj at the entrance of their bedroom looking drop dead hot in black casual trousers and palest shade of lavender shirt. He had his Pearl white rustic blazer hung carelessly on his arm as he leaned against the door shamelessly gawking at her while she was doing the same.

"Yeah!" She replied feeling the heat creeping upon her cheeks due to his smouldering gaze which was making her conscious. She recalled of the thin platinum chain that would go perfect with her dress and she dived to fish it out.

"What's wrong?" Yuvraaj asked coming inside and threw his blazer on the bed.

Without glancing at him, Anahita tugged her bangs behind her ear and delved the pockets of his vanity bag. "I had a chain to wear and it would look good but I can't seem to find it."

"Let it be."

"No. I mean it's not good for a married woman to be without any necklace." She mumbled without matching his eyes and continued to excavate. Finally her hands met the metal and she sighed in content. "Got it. Here it is." She pulled out a platinum chain with a diamond round pendant threaded in it.

"Would you help?" She asked in saccharin voice, peering at him with kohl filled eyes. To cover the distance of barely five footsteps wasn't as excruciating as Yuvraaj made it with his deliberately slow and short steps.

She cascaded her hair on to right shoulder, providing him a better view of her butter smooth, porcelain back. Her teeth sunk into her juicy lips that were painted red on their own accord. She flashed him her best smile when he crouched down to her level and his cold fingertips made contact with her neck.

Anahita didn't wait for him to show any potent affection by kissing her neck because it could've pulled her secret in light that she was hiding under the straps. She swivelled away and adjusted the gown unnecessarily, "How do I look?"

"This material is fine!" Yuvraaj admired and touched the silk layer on her waist, "I was wrong when I thought you will look breathtaking in this."

"And what do you think now?"

"I think," He smiled flicking her tresses off and rubbed his thumb on her cheek, gazing back and forth in her eyes. "You look ravishing in this. You're resembling the enchantress who has come to earth to torture me." His hands slid down to her sides before pulling her flushed against him. "Will you put this torture off me?"

"How?" She bit her lips, taking his drift in consideration and her lashes glanced southwards as Yuvraaj leaned his head closer to her, staring her lips. Anahita closed her eyes feeling his breath upon her lips and she gripped his taut arms anticipating the kiss that was almost there.

She could feel his lips over her slightly when the doorbell rang and her eyes opened at once. She blushed noting that Yuvraaj was so close to her and bit her lip, slightly burbling with laughter.

"I just thought that things like this happens in family only." He muttered, closing his eyes in irritation.

"Like what?"

"Interruptions!" He cringed, pressing his lips on hers, "Ignore that and Kiss me!"

Anahita smiled and was about to move her lips when the doorbell buzzed again. She pressed her hands on his chest, creating distance and giggled, "Let me check who it is?"

"Threaten to kill him on my behalf." She heard him and shook her head smiling as she scudded to the door. A bellboy was standing on the doorstep as she opened the door with a lavish bouquet in his hand and a card stuck on it.

"Yes!"

"Ma'am these are for you!" He handed her the bouquet and Anahita gathered the giant mass of flowers, taking out the note. "Thank you for saving my life. I wish your life fragrances with these flowers."
