Chapter 26: Chapter 26

His words made her snap her head at him and she scrutinized his face to smell out if he was drunk or not. The arrogant and self-centered person he was, wouldn't probably praise her yet the man before her, staring straight in her eyes was not lying either.

"You have no idea when I found you nowhere, I forgot to breath for a moment. I thought I lost you for ever and alone the thought was so scary that I shivered." He confessed, feeling lighthearted, "I am not asking you to be with me forever without your will, just complete me till you are here."

A lone tear slipped from her eyes as she traced the hurt in his voice. She had disappointed everyone, from her family to his family but the person who was suffering the most or who would suffer the most, was Yuvraaj. She didn't like him for his attitude but she was no one to play with his emotions. He got married to her with all his heart and soul and she was incapable of giving either of them.

"I am sorry, Yuvraaj." She finally said the words she was longing to say yet hadn't found the strength. Her mind made a mental note that it was wine's effect. A sane Yuvraaj would never commit something like that.

He sounded Needy. Craved.

"You don't have to be. Now as i know the circumstances you were in, I can easily decipher how hard it would've been for you and I, no longer, hold any grudges for you. I want my wife for these remaining days. I want you." He beheld her gaze intact with him and tramping to her, captivated her soul.

"Let's not fight anymore, let's not hurt each other. Let's try to stay happy. Can i have this? Can I have the pleasure to cherish my wife for next twenty days, Anahita?" His voice jingled with the fear of rejection. A feeling he hadn't experience before, a fear which was gripping his bones, a longing for her answer.

"Will I have the power over your credit cards then?" She whispered slowly, beginning with the question she wanted to demand since the time he pointed out of the biggest glitch between them.

A hearty chuckle escaped from his mouth as he heard her and he nodded, caressing her cheek. "You will have the power over everything. Now, will you answer me?"

With her lips stretching in a brightening smile, lightening up the world within him, she nodded, "Yes. You can have your wife."

Without any preamble, Yuvraaj locked his lips with her, pulling her on his lap and gripped her nape. The life had up until then was a ride of rollercoaster for Anahita. She didn't feel that she was born in a world, she thought she had entered a venture where all she had was the ace of risk. She took risks all the time. Speculated her every step. Be it with falling in love with Mukund, or the attempts she made to cancel Her Wedding, or the decision to elope with Mukund or the biggest peril of her life; nodding a yes to this marriage.

She was venturing all this time with or without her will but This moment, This particular moment she was willing to take a risk, without caring where it would lead her. She wanted to be a leaf in the River and wanted to see where it will flow her.

Wholeheartedly and contented, she weaved her long manicured fingers in his hair, knotting them and pulled him more into her. Yuvraaj was deftly sucking her lower lip and with a final tug, he bit it, earning her gasp as a fluke to enter her mouth. Not a corner was left unexplored, he could taste the sweet bitter taste of wine she just had.

Anahita's tongue fought for dominance and at her antics, he laughed in between the kiss, giving her chance to bite his lip.

"You are very violent." He wheezed out, smiling as he pecked her lips uncountably.

She looped her arms around his neck and sucked his lip, winking at him, "Learnt from the best."

"Ahaan!" He smiled and blew air on her face, making her close her eyes and pecked her forehead, "It's late. We should sleep."

Settling beside her, when he pulled her over him, snaking his arm around her waist, she didn't object because somehow she always ended up snuggling close to him, so she didn't see the point to protest and welcomed the warmth of affection he was giving.

Foam was covered on her mouth as she was lazily brushing her teeth, staring in the mirror, dwelling in her thoughts when two beefy arms caged her petite waist and stubble grazed jawline hid in her neck, brushing her skin with warm breathes.

"Good morning!" An hoarse and rough wishing brought her back to her sense and she heaved a sigh of relief that whatever happened last night was neither a dream nor a stupor propelled episode. It was very much real.

She stood rooted, grinning like an idiot and Yuvraaj yawned, unfettering her, "At least, say good morning to you too." And stretched his body, cracking his neck.

Anahita spat the spume and gurgled, washing her toothbrush as well, "Good...wait a sec, where is your T-shirt?" She squinted her eyebrows, last night when they slept he was fully dressed and now he was roaming half naked.

"Oh, I discarded it last night. You were sneezing even in sleep. Hence, I increased the temperature but it was freakish hot, so I discarded my T-shirt." He lazily filled her in, rubbing his eyes and trolled out to check his cellphone. Peeping out from bathroom, Anahita found him sliding the glass wall and stepping on the wooden deck, leaning on the banister. The sea was sparking in the sunlight that they both adored.

Bidding adieu to her routine, she emerged out, wiping her face with the towel. "We are going out, right?"

Yuvraaj nodded without looking at her, His back muscles flexed as he leaned more on the banister. Anahita shamelessly devoured his raw male beauty, her lips pouting with a devilish thought bouncing in her head. Throwing the towel carelessly on the bed, she progressed to him.

Her fingers itched to touch his untanned skin, his thick muscles alluring her to squeeze them, poke her nails into them. She blushed on her crazy thought and hugged his back, startling him for a second.

"What happened?" Yuvraaj asked softly, recovering from the action. His hands covered the lock of her wrist around his waist. Anahita didn't answer, just rubbed her face against his cold flesh. "Can't I hug my husband for no reason?"

Speech robbed him and he pulled her before him, caging her between his arms and banister. He leaned in and kissed her supple cheeks, making her close her eyes. "Last night changed my wife positively." He tipped her chin and sucked, "As to answer of your question, Yes. You can hug your husband for no reason. In fact, I would prefer more than hugging without any reason."

"Shut up!" Anahita gasped, kissing his neck. Her fingers dwindling in the spray of his chest hair. Yuvraaj's groan struck in his throat and his fingers bit onto her butt, pulling her flushed against his skin.

"Will you never shave?" She whispered, sucking her earlobe. Yuvraaj's lips left her shoulder for a brief second. "Shave what?"

"Your frizzy stubble." She slapped his forearm, leaning back and palmed her cheek. "It scratches my neck and shoulders...and cheeks when you come closer."

"Aai says I look baby face when I shave." He chuckled, rubbing his frizz. Anahita rolled her eyes. "Mom doesn't know the aftermath of hair burn and she doesn't have to bear them."

They both grew silent abruptly and Anahita scrunched her nose, slapping him off. "What the hell did you just say?"

"I didn't. You said that." Yuvraaj surrendered, shaking his head. The ghost of smile appearing on his lips. Anahita frowned deeper and rubbed her nose, "That was gross. Shit, I shouldn't have...what the hell! I am going to bath."

Pushing him gently, she absconded to the bathroom and Yuvraaj buzzed into a throaty laughter, "You're crazy Anahita. Okay, get ready fast. I will go second and then, we will have breakfast in one of the local restaurant. I am fed up with the food served in here."

He is sounding like a toddler, Anahita couldn't help but wonder and shouted while shampooing her scalp. "Alright. I'll be done in a minute."

Costumed in a forest green midi with a golden buckle on the belt, she hung the butter coloured cape on her forearm and complimented her look with small dangles. She strapped the satin ribbons of her heels around her calf and stepped out to the hall. The moment Yuvraaj saw her, he couldn't blink seeing her mesmerizing beauty. His heart swelled in pride that the prettiest woman of the world was his wife.

Conscious of his staring, Anahita tucked her hair behind her ear optionally, looking down and blushed scarlet. He slowly trudged to her and breathed out, kissing her cheekbones, "You are looking damn pretty."

Pretty? Pretty! Who uses this word now? She sulked mentally. "Only pretty?"

"Yes. Only pretty!" He teased, shoving his cellphone in his pocket and clasped her palm in his, "C'mon! Let's go."

"Um...what's the plan for today?" She diverted the topic, walking closer to him.

"The way you've dressed, we can't go for horse riding or trekking." He smirked, taking a full look of her till his heart's content, "Let's do boating and kayaking for today."

"Kayaking? I have not done that ever." She squealed happily and scooted closer to him, "I don't know you have a penchant for kayaking. That makes two of us. I am so excited."

"I can see that." He touched her lashes and kissed her, making her still.

"Yuvraaj! You....shouldn't just.....do....." She stuttered, blushing and Yuvraaj tipped her chin with his index finger, "No one cares here."

"This is damn good! What is this?" Anahita implored excitedly, sipping the thick soup, marvelled at the wonderful taste and Yuvraaj apprised her, smoothing the table clock.

"Minestrone! It's a vegetable soup containing pasta n rice and lots of vegetable." He teased and she showed her tongue. Anahita was one of those ridiculous non vegan people who thought anything made with vegetable would be tasteless, she could live upon chicken and seafood for her the rest of her life whereas Yuvraaj was not a big fan of non veg even after living in abroad. He had missed vegetables and his mother's food terribly.

"That's unbelievable!" She chuckled, sipping her soup and frattata. They have ordered a lot, Crespelle, Fritata and Quiche and spinach sausage egg bake. Yuvraaj eats like a Neanderthal and would do anything for food; quoted by Anahita.

"Ah! I ate so much. My stomach is paining." She huffed, dramatically leaning forward and put her another hand on her waist. Yuvraaj crouched to her level and tickled her earlobe, "I can carry you if you don't mind."

She stood back, "Nope, I am fine. What's the plan for now? Are we going for boating?"

"Actually," Yuvraaj dragged, hiding his smile and leaned forward on to her shoulder, "I've planned something for today besides boating and kayaking."

"Which is?" She prompted.

"You'll know!" Anahita didn't like the hidden humor in his tone yet followed her wordlessly. Yuvraaj was a thriller and Anahita dared to have this on her plate.
