“Happy New Year” says Mrs Penn. Alan and Bradd were at the bed and it was already 9 in the morning.

Alan: Happy New Year Mrse Penn.Thank you for letting me stay here Mam although it’s still tomorrow.

Mrs.Penn: I know Alan but I’m sure you won’t be here for tomorrow. And I don’t think Brad and Jane will be here. They have been used to for the eve since the last two years.

Brad: Ya Mom We need to go to Violet’s Barnyard.

Mrs.Penn: The Barnyard at the perimeter. It’ s 6 miles from here. Isn’t that too far.

Alan: That is only few compared. Wait till you hear about the race Mrs Penn( Brad covers Alan;s mouth)

Mrs Penn: Ok boys enough with the flaundering. Dorothy’s mother will be here tonight. I invited her here. I hope you take Dorothy too in the Barnyard then.

Alan: Dorothy? You want us to miss the fun Mrs Penn.

Mrs Penn: Well Uncle Benn called yesterday about your so called race. You don’t want your father to know about that Brad would you?

Brad(sushing Alan): No Mom Ofcourse not.

They have breakfast as they reach the geese at 10.

Hank: Hey guys how you doing. Are you ready? I said are you…………………(Alan stops him).

Brad: Ya whats with the DX chant. We get that but you are invited?

Hank: Ya actually Jane invited me. I used her name to get self invited.

Alan: That is cheap Hank. You get Brad’s sister and now what?

Brad: You can have her. Being with you does make her less trouble. But Violet she is a new level even for you Alan.

Alan: I know she is wild. But what about the others. Helena won’t be there so I am alone.

Brad:Don’t worry bud. Violet’s dad will be there too. She will be with him at some auction of his. I don’t know what these rich dad do though. First Eva’s dad and now Violet. God I am thinking about only rounding up the barnyard.

Alan: Ya Helena has the same problem when her dad is around. But the Barnyard I heard is almost a thousand acres. Violet’s dad must be a millionaire.

Brad: Ya he is worth 232 million as she told me and that Barnyard itself is worth a million as she told me.

Alan( stops Brad): Ok lets not be geekish. I understood when you said millions ok.

Hank: Ya that’s something extreme isn’t it.

Amber and Eva enter the geese.

Amber: Hey guys.

Brad: Hey Eva and Amber what ya doin?

Eva: Well I was invited to a party but I am not sure if I am going though.

Brad: Why?

Eva: well didn’t we broke up Brad.Like we have no chance now.

Hank: Well he asked you as a friend I guess.

Eva: Ok Brad maybe I’ll check in at 8 at the night. I need to go to Amber’s.

Amber: Ya and that is too of Violet’s.

Eva(surprised): Ok I will but at 8 ok.

Amber: Ya we need to do some shopping at the Grand Mall.

Hank: The Grand Mall. That’s across the lake from the Barnyard.

Amber: That’s right we have hired a canoe boy who will take us to the Barnyard.

Alan: Wow, two rich girls colliding.

Brad: well Violet won’t be there when you will be at 8.

Eva: Well you will see my entry and tell her won’t you Brad?( snuggling Brad;s hair)

Jane walks in.

Jane: Ah Badd there you are. I have been waiting for you.

Jane: I did but Violet invited me to her party and she asked me to look after you just in case you go rogue.

Alan: Rogue us?

Jane: Ya you too Alan. I know you No Helena No Violet and all the other girls for you too.

Brad: Shouldn’t you be paying us our 100 from the bet. We still need to pay Joe.

Jane: Ya I knew about your trick. But Jade was dumb enough to make us stay.

Brad: Ya a druggist fool and a bitch loser.

Hank: Ok enough guys. Jane don’t you worry. I’ll take you to the Barnyard in Wally’s Ruckus. I implanted 7 new boosters for you Jane.

Brad: What you copy cat? And Alan what about us?

Alan: Ya bud we got no ride.

Brad: Hey we forgot Dorothy. Her Mom has a scooter. We can take that.

Alan: Ya right on. But do you think your mother will let us.

Brad: Well both of them will be at my house. They won’t know.

Alan: You think we can fool Dorothy.

Brad: But we oughta make her look cool or else she won’t.

Alan: Leave that to Jane.

Alan: Ya you owe us a 100. May be we will let you the 50 if you do that.

Jane: Ok Dorothy is anyone who can be fooled.

Hank: Don’t worry. I’ll ride you there and ask Dorothy myself. Just make sure her mom isn’t there.

Brad: Well her mom will reach my place at 3. So may be you should go at 3.

Hank; Great and then to the Barnyard. It’s a holiday after all. No vehicles. We Will reach there in half an hour.

Jane: You idiot it’s a new year’s eve. The road would be crowded. We will have to ride for atleast 2 hours to reach the barnyard.

Brad: Well my sister has some brains. Dorothy;s mother;s scooter is like an old tractor may be 30 milesph.

Alan: Well we will still reach there. May be 3 hours but still there woooooooh yeah.

Hank: Ok guys I ll bring Dorothy. I heard she can ride.

Alan: Ya she can but like a turtle. I am sure you remember like you( giggles)

Hank: I know. But still I won and Jane is with me

Jane: Ok Hank we are not together at the moment ok. We are like Brad and Eva …………….ya that’s it. We are like Brad and Eva.

Brad: Hey………………

Alan: Well we will be there anyways………………………….ohh……………..yeah.

Brad: Would you stop that?

Everyone laughs.

(Phone rings. Brad picks the phone)

Brad: Hey babe. I know Im 14. But Dorothy has an international license as I have heard.

Alan: Hey is that Violet?

Brad: Ya.

Alan: Tell her Alan remembers her.

Brad: Don’t worry we will reach there at 6. She won’t go with her dad until 6.

Alan: Ya with a turtle scootie you think we will reach there at 6.

Brad: Ya you’re right. Hey Vi will you stay there for 7 atleast?

Alan: What she says?

Brad: Well she will stay until 7 and then go with her father. She is telling to take care of the barnyard and don’t throw bear cans.

Alan(laughs): Haha. But we may still not reach there at 7.

Brad: What do you mean?

Alan: Well Dorothy’s house is like a 20 minute ride from your house even in Hank’s bike. They even will take atleast 50 minutes to reach here and they are to reach the geese which will nearly sum it up to an hour.

Brad: You mean it will be already 4 at the geese.

Alan: Ya Bud. So maybe we will see Violet on her way out.

Brad: Jee that’s bad she won’t be back for a week as she said.

Alan: May be we will be at Helena;s then. She did ask me to come at her new apartment.

Brad: A new apartment?

Alan: Ya it’s like a big mansion. Although, only a flat but it’s huge. It’s at Tacoma.

Brad: Tacoma. That;s like far from here. Mom’s not gonna let me.

Alan: don’t worry I’ll make her.

Brad: well she will if you say. But Jane will interfere.

Alan: Maybe we will take her too and may be Eva too if you know what I mean.(laughs)

Brad: Would you cut that out. She is listening. No babe Alan is just kidding. He is inviting us to Helena’s new apartment. I told him we will go there next month. Ok thanks and bye.
