Victoria pov ...

With every step I took ,my heart was pounding in my chest , when we stepped out of the mansion gate ,a black carriage was already waiting for us ,so master Keir helped me get into the carriage then our journey began .

When we arrived at the market place ,I was surprised to see the beauty of Gotland everything about it was beautiful ,master Keir helped me get down from the carriage then we walked into the market .

" This place is beautiful master Keir "

" Yes I know ,I usually come here when ever am around "

" Oh I see "

" Tell me more about yourself Victoria "

" Haha " I laughed awkwardly" Master Keir there is nothing to talk about ,Am just a maid in the mansion of the great lord Xander "

" Hmm, but I believe that there is something to talk about ,or let me guess ,you don't want to talk about it "

We stopped in front of a shop then he picked up a hair clip and took a close look at it .

He placed the hair clip on my hair and then asked me into turn.

" Huh "I was confused by his statement ,It felt a little bit strange "

" Am sorry I was just pissed off ,I don't want anything bad to happen to her Desmond ,What if they come for her tonight "

" Nothing is going to happen just calm down ,you worry too much Olivia , tidy up the table then let's go to bed "

I walked into my room and closed the door ,not too long I started hearing some strange noise out side ,then I remembered my teddy bear had fallen off my hand back at the living room so I decided to go get it.

I quietly open to door and walked into the leaving room but what I saw next shocked me to my bones , my parents were kneeing down in front of three men , I quickly hid myself in a corner of the room .

" Where is she "

" I have told you so many times she's not here "

" Do you think am here to joke with you "

" Please spare our life but don't take our daughter please "

" We had an agreement Desmond so why are you backing out now "

" I don't know what you are talking about but I can't give her to you period "

Young Man standing beside my mother ,walked up to my father and ran his sword into his chest ,my mother screamed out in tears .

" Desmond No...please don't ...why.. would you kill him ,he never agreed to give her to you why would you kill him please I beg of you "

The other man who was standing at the middle signalled the other at his left hand side to go in and search the house , I quickly covered my mouth and kept quiet to avoid being caught by this weird looking man .

The man who went in searched everywhere for me then came back with the other man and bow his head .

" My lord ,I couldn't find her "

" Very well then " Something was so strange about the man standing in front of my mother ,he had a mask on his face ." Where is she " He asked my mother "

" I...I..don't know where she is please ..take me instead and spare her life "

" Why do you humans ,find it difficult to understand ,we had an agreement once she's eleven I will come to take her as my bride "

" That was a fool agreement you had with my husband's father ,now they are dead ,why don't you understand and let her be "

" I see " suddenly his nails grew long the other man held my mother down on her knees and he dug his hand into her chest and bought out her heart then shred her body into pieces , I wanted to scream but I close my mouth ,they looked around but couldn't find me then they walked out of the house ," Mama " tears was rolling down from my eyes gradually I fell unconscious.

" That's strange " said master Keir .

" Yes master Keir ,but what can I say life can be so unfair sometimes "

" Am so sorry for your loss ,were you able to see his face "

" No I couldn't he had a mask on "

" Okay ,this is so painful "

We kept walking round the market until it was getting late so he asked that we return back to the Mansion ,when we entered the carriage he decided start up a conversation .

" Thank you so much Victoria for taking a walk with me today , secondly I would love to ask you for a favor hope you won't refuse "

" I will do it ,if it's within my power "

" Good ,I will be going for a party tomorrow ,I was thinking if you will loved to come with me "

" I don't think so master Keir "

" You don't have a choice ,I was only asking like a gentle man ,but you don't have a choice Victoria you are coming with me ".

Shortly we arrived at the mansion lord Xander was waiting for us at the entrance of the mansion ,when we came down from the carriage ,I couldn't look into his eyes I quickly rush into the Mansion while the two brothers walked behind me ,I took a deep breath when I arrived at the kitchen but couldn't find anyone there so I decided to get a glass of water but suddenly I felt a cold breeze that sent shiver down my spine .

Someone whispered into my ears .

" You have so much guts Victoria ,you stepped out of the mansion despite my warnings "

" Good day lord Xander what would you like to ha..." when I looked into red eyes ,I could felt his anger raising , I quietly bow my hand and apologized .

" Ah..what should I do to you now Victoria , always disobeying my orders "

" Am sorry ,master Keir requested I go with him ,I couldn't reject him "

He grabbed the hair clip and before I could stop him he removed it and dropped it on the floor then stepped on it .

" Yes My Lord ," When he removed his leg from the hair clip I discovered that it was already broken beyond repair "

I felt like crying this gift was precious to me ,I mean it was the first time someone had ever given me anything
