Victoria pov ..

I woke up the next morning and resumed my punishment in the garden ,I was busy working when I heard someone talking to be from behind

" Those flowers are beautiful "

I quickly turned to see who it was .

" Yes they are beautiful "

" Pardon my manners ,my name is Dexter "

" Okay am Victoria "

" What are beautiful name for a beautiful damsel "

" Thanks Dexter ,but if I may ask what are doing here "

" Oh yes I work for lord Xander "

" I think I have seen your face before ,the night lord Xander bought me to the mansion "

" Very true ,I remember now I didn't know you are this beautiful ,the last time I saw you ,you were looking so Haggard and ...."

He quickly swallowed the last word he was about to say and apologize .

" Am sorry for talking to you like that ,I think I talk way too much "

" No it's no problem , everything happened for a reason "

" I don't know it depends on my work schedule"

" Perhaps we could go on a date ,what do you think "

Just then we heard a familiar voice from behind .

" What are you both laughing at "

" Huh ..What the hell is this man doing here ,I mean why do I have to see him everyday "

He asked the young man talking to me to leave immediately he left, he took few steps forward ,and I took few steps backwards , but his next action took me by surprise ,he was standing in front of me right before my face .

"Why did you let him touch you "

" What ...I was confused by his question ,I know his not suppose to ask me that kind of question ,in as much as his my master ,am not some loses woman to have sex with him "

I tried fighting him off ,but this man always know how to make someone scared , What really made me mad was when he dropped me to the ground ,I cried out in pain .

When he left , Elena rushed up to me and helped me stand up .

" Are you okay Victoria what happened "

" I don't know I just fell to the ground "

" You have to careful ,okay the ground is a little slippery ,you know it rained all through the night ,please be careful where you walk "

' I know am ,I just slipped ,but am fine ,what are doing here ,you need to go back to work "

" Yes am done so I decided to come help you out "

"Really thank you so much "

" Anything for you girl , come-on let's finish this off once and for all so we can go have dinner "

" Yeah sure "

We quickly got back to work ,after working for a while ,we decided to sit down and rest .

" Victoria have you noticed , Isabella have been quite today "

" Nope ,I haven't seen her today , besides I don't want to come in contact with that girl , she's bad new Elena ,so if she's angry then it's good for her "

" I feel your pain girl ,don't worry everything is going to be fine ,the only thing I want you to do is to stay away from her ,if she comes to you with a fight just avoid that girl ,I don't want anyone setting you up for something you didn't do , believe me there is nothing like mercy here ,the sentence here is worst than death "

" Oh my, Elena do you mean I might get killed if I continue fighting with Isabella "

" Not only that girl , something worst than that might happen to you "

" What pains me the must is the way lady Madison supports her ,you can imagine even after what she did yesterday ,I was the only one that got punished ,I just hate everything happening around me "

" You don't have to be sad , everything happens for reason ,just be patient okay ,Mind your business and nothing is going to happen to you Victoria, this place is worst than hell itself ,I just don't want you to get hurt "

" I understand thank you for looking out for me ,I really appreciate "

We continued working in the garden until it was mid afternoon so we stopped when we saw we were done with our chores, we went back into the mansion ,when we arrived at the hallway , Elena decided to go get water from the kitchen ,while I work towards the servants quarters .

Suddenly I saw a young girl seating at the corner of the hallway ,staring into space .

" Hello what are you doing here "

" Me ,She pointed at herself in surprise "

" Yes you I believe there is no one else in this place "

" Can you see me "

" Off I can see you ..I laughed awkwardly ,then it done on me that I just saw a ghost "

" Wait are you dead "

" Yes I am that's why am surprised that you can see me "

" Oh I understand now ,what are doing here "

" It's a long story "

" Then make it short ,I have all the time in the word to listen to you "

" Am here to see my sister ,but it's so unfortunate that she can't see me "

" Your sister ,is she a maid here "

" Yes her name is Mary ,it's so sad ,that I can't communicate with her "

" No your don't ,I really want to talk to her ,I have tried so hard but she can't hear me or even see me ,at this point I feel like giving up "

Her eyes brightened up with happiness .

" Really ,thank you so much ,she tried to hug me but she passed through me "

She had a sad look on her face but didn't say anything .

" Okay I will help you tomorrow but for now I have to go rest ,I had a bad day "

I kept walking back to the servants chambers ,but she kept following me .

" Why are following me "

" Am so sorry I can't believe you can see me I have been meaning to talk to someone ,so please just let's talk for a while "

" Ah..hello I need to rest ,so bye "

" Ah..so you are the corrupt soul's bride interesting "
